  1. There were no receivers (one on the line). Looked so soft. There were 8 Pats blocking 4 Bills on the line. LBs and others appeared 3-5 yds off the line.
  2. Which was 3 plays after the terrible fumble by Breida (again a terrible call on first down), when the Bills were marching with the wind. Jones had not attempted a pass & it is 3rd & 5 against the wind (Bob Seger anyone?). Peyton Manning hit the nail on the head..... No receivers spread out and 8 Patriots on the line vs. 4 Bills and LB's & DB's looking ready for a pass downfield. Sorry I'm not about X&O's, but what were the Bills thinking NE was going to do?
  3. Normal circumstances sure, though Tennessee San for that the week before vs NE and were buried. These were not normal conditions. They threw 3 times!!! The 65 yard run was a terrible and never should have happened. Watch thecreplay. NE had 8 men on the line and the Bills 4.... What were they thinking?
  4. Did you see the video above & the Mannings' reaction? I'm dumbfounded (and I pay minimal attention to defensive alignment and formation), how NE has Everyone on the LOS and the Bills are playing a Nickel when the possibility of a pass is next to nothing (i.e. every play has been a run).
  5. No they were not on that play. Ridiculous coverage, when there is not a receiver lined up off the LOS.
  6. This was 3 plays after the terrible fumble by Breida (again a terrible call on first down), when the Bills were marching with the wind. Here's the Mannings' hitting the nail on the head..... No receivers spread out and everyone on the line and the Bills piss poor defense on the play. Get out of the Nickel Defense!!!!!!!!!
  7. Inexcusable to allow a 65 yard run when everyone knows you are running the ball. Terrible defense and quit trying to make excuses.
  8. Great write-up. Again the 65 yard TD was unacceptable. Third & 5 and you know NE is running & up the middle, as it seemed every play and they broke down. 10 on the line and force Jones to throw into the wind. Why have I not seen one well designed play all year from the Bills inside the 10? Shouldn't something be hidden for just this situation. The first down hand-off to Moss at the 6 killed them (then they are panicking and sack the next play, when 30 yard FG's are an issue)..... Allen should have been more involved in the run game. There was little designed to take advantage of his ability. Still a playoff team, but Sunday will be big.
  9. Agree with the Bills redzone. 3rd and 5 just terrible defense when there was no threat of a pass.
  10. What goal line stand???? You mean 1st and goal from the 10 and not going to pass?????😡
  11. The point is NE had to prepare for both runs and passes, all Buffalo had to do was stop the run (there were no passes). They FAILED!!!!!!
  12. And scored 3 plays later, on what everyone knew was basically a run up the middle!!! And they had 7 plays over 10 yards and that was all they were doing all night..... 3 Passes!!!!! All the runs basically up the middle.
  13. Didn't TB win the SB as a Wild Card?????? Also again prior to last year last home playoff game was 1996. Does anyone really get excited about a home playoff game in January, without one eye on the weather and fingers crossed?????
  14. Oh and NE gave up way less (and YPC) and the Bills were balanced and passing the ball.
  15. A 64 yard TD run, when you know they are running is unacceptable. Did the Bills do that?????
  16. And frankly I don't care about anything that happened in the game yesterday that's worth long debates or hand wringing. The game was decided in the end by weather. Very sad.
  17. Happens in Buffalo more so than anywhere else. No maybe not the worst conditions ever, but bad enough that it does affect the game (and yep my enjoyment when going to OP to watch the game). When will weather not be a part of every narrative associated with a Buffalo Bills football game or importance in OP. At best "Mild conditions at kickoff and weather should not be a factor"😜
  18. Funny story about that game. Bought tickets from scalper, get in the stadium and go and sit in seats. Someone else shows up in the same seats and we start an argument, then look at our tickets & they were for the AFC Semi-Final the week before😄. We got them cheap figuring people would watch at home and ended up just wandering around for 4 seats and having a great time.
  19. The good news is hopefully the Bills make the playoffs and play in LA, KC, Balt or Indy...... Yesterday was awful to watch, but that's just my opinion.
  20. I was there for that game & actually wasn't too bad. But every year, every time I make the drive to Orchard Park I have to check the forecast and usually how many layers to wear. I'm too old for this.
  21. No it's a Buffalo thing.... Every year that's the worry come November, weather.... Of course the last home playoff game was 1996, so people forget. Every year I'd wager there are at least 3 games with inclement or bad weather in Buffalo. It's a running joke and that is why National TV always makes it a point to talk about it.
  22. It's just not fun. The winds & rain make for unpleasant games every year in Buffalo. That's just a fact. Yesterday's weather was the great equalizer. I found very little compelling and just a sense of dread for 4 quarters.
  23. I've started 10 threads this year. I thought the offense has seemed off, Diggs #'s down, worried about beating bad teams and it not telling us anything..... Oh and a thread last week (which was locked) that I was dreading the weather forecast for yesterday and gutted thinking that it would ruin the game. Really help me understand as a fan why they are just so terrible? https://www.twobillsdrive.com/community/profile/24993-billsfan1972/content/?type=forums_topic&change_section=1
  24. Yea go ahead..... Nothing I've posted is outlandish or ridiculous. I'm a Billsfan who posts opinions, and usually I will try & post some accompanying stats. I just checked that you haven't started a thread this year. I also noted that you seemed to have been miffed about my 300 yard threads that go back to 2019 on threads you've started. Go ahead look at this year's threads, which I've started maybe 10..... Yep look at me.....
  25. Get lost..... Really I posted my opinion on yesterday's game and that it was borderline unwatchable. Looking for opinions. You liked the game & conditions, good for you. I find it sad that this seems an annual occurrence for the Bills. Interesting stat they threw up about the least passes in NFL games & of course the Bills involved in almost everyone. No I do not miss the Joe Ferguson 12 passes/game era either.
