  1. I'm confused? You get the ST together & tell them "We're kicking it short/squib kicking it, stay in your lanes". How much more could it be?
  2. As I've said elsewhere the Bills were #3 in kick coverage, the longest run back all year was 31 yards. Massive screw up by McD.
  3. And I got plenty of pushbacks, eyerolls and vomit emojis anytime I questioned the defense and said anything about third & fourth down conversions. Heck think I had a thread last week and was told how little I knew. KC is a great offense, however the final 13 seconds was an epic fail (and OT), along with a couple of third down conversions. One great play on third & one, where Reid tried to get too cute was pretty much all they did. I don't think you need game changing plays to defend during the last 13 seconds!!!!!!😡
  4. Again he did a full run up and full leg..... There was no attempt to keep it in the field of play. Bass has a leg for 60 yard FG, which requires a 3-4 yard approach. He did his 7 yard one. All season long the Bills when they wanted to allow a return Bass did a shorter approach. Case closed.....😜
  5. And as I said above, the Bills did not allow a big return all year. The longest was 33 yards. Average was 17 yards. If a 17 yard return, they eat up 6 seconds, we are down to 7 seconds and let's say they are at the 30 (being generous). Mahomes then needs to complete a 35 yard pass in 7 seconds. Good luck.....
  6. I just posted elsewhere (my thread), that the b Bills were #3 in Kicking defence and the longest kick return they allowed all year was 33 yards. These are stats that these coaches who work 20 hours/day and look at everything, because they are so damn good, should know. https://www.footballdb.com/stats/teamstat.html?group=D&cat=KR&yr=2021&lg=NFL I was screaming at the TV to do a pop up kick to the 5-10 yard line that Bass is adept at. McD speak.... He should teach a masterclass.
  7. Here you go.... Another thing to make you cry and wonder about McD.... Bills were #3 in the league. The longest kick return allowed all year 33 yards!!!!! https://www.footballdb.com/stats/teamstat.html?group=D&cat=KR&yr=2021&lg=NFL These are stats the coaches should know. Absolutely you hit it to the 5-10 yard line and make them return it.
  8. Levy lost it because that was the year there was only one week between the Championship and the SB. The team was too high on themsleves and too much in awe of the week and they were not reigned in and focussed. Yep can blame Levy, but the players too. Also that last drive was terrible time management. They should have been a minimum 10 yards closer. Sunday it was McD being lost and the Defense that was unprepared to play 13 f'ing seconds. McD may not have been outcoached, but he completely blew the last 13 seconds.
  9. And who's fault is that? Pretty simple you tell the coverage team "we're kicking it short". Hard to believe that.
  10. When Bass was kicking it down to the 5-yard line he was taking a 3-yard approach. Yesterday was the usual seven yards and you could see that he was trying to kick it out of the end zone. And Pringle was back to receive not Hill. How about someone asking Bass? Just look at the kick there was no chance he was going to 5-yard line. And then still all they had to do was stop two plays. Epic failure.
  11. Shaw you do a great job and are an incredible fan. Yes you don't like what I say and not sure why. You seem very hesitant to ever blame coaching. However there were 13 friggin seconds left. That comes down to coaching. I had friends over and was screaming did you do a pooch kick to the five 10-yard line which Bass had been very successful throughout the year doing. Then we can talk about the two plays afterwards and how badly they were botched. I've been a Bills fan since 1972 and you never know when this chance will come again. Yes I'm very upset.
  12. Bang on. Then compound it by rushing four and for some reason covering the sidelines when KC has 3 timeouts. Double Hill and don't allow them 20 yards downfield. Kick it short to the 7-10 and coverage should have meant 30 yard line at best with 7 seconds left and one play!!!!!
  13. You're a bigger man then me.....😜
  14. I'll watch (I do like KC), but having the guys over and doing the work, prep and clean-up, I can't fathom right now.
  15. So who else does a Superbowl Party? Have done a small one with friends for years. Not huge, but love prepping and seeing the guys (kids come too). Had them over yesterday for Superbowl lite (spouse away). After yesterday I'm conflicted and don't want to do it. No interest in the prep and clean-up. I will watch some next Sunday, but really right now don't care. Anyone else do something for the Superbowl and now cancelling?
  16. 15 more yards, they don't get there. Took them 10 seconds to go 45 yards. 60 yards no.... Again when Bass kicks it short he doesn't do a 7 yard run, he did 3 yards during the season.
  17. Well I was going nuts saying what to do (kick to the 10 yard line). Just listening to Bill Simmons and Cousin Sal and they said the same thing. Also complained about those two Bills possessions where the Bills ran the ball on 2nd & 3rd downs with when <4 yards to go. They said the ball needed to be solely in Allen's hands.
  18. Again every time Bass wanted to kick short Bass did a short run up (3-4 yards). Watched replay and it was 7 yard and again Pringle was back not Hill!!!!
  19. And when I started a thread earlier this year, there was the usual excuses for Diggs. As said other things to discuss today, but it is disconcerting to see Diggs mia.
  20. C'mon let's not go there. 13 seconds..... Blame the coaches. I started that thread on Friday.....😡
  21. Well Davis & Beasley were responsible for almost all the yards. Not the place to debate, but you just never see see little production from your star on a big stage (3 catches + 2 point convert <10 yards). And I'm a Diggs fan.
  22. It was a hell of a hit though!!!! Diggs is the Bills' best receiver. He made a great catch on the 2 point convert, but he was invisible yesterday. That doesn't happen to stars. But today is about other things.
  23. Really that was what happened? Chase tripled too vs. Tenn, Adams vs. SF & Kupp vs. TB? Why is it every time someone doesn't show up the excuses start.
  24. I guess we have the answer..... No one.....
