I'm amazed at the # here claiming it hit the turf. My understanding is it can hit the turf if you have control of it and Milano did. To me at the very worst they should have reviewed it and it was a replay they had to watch closely. Not way that call is made in 5-10 seconds. And I say no it does not, Milano's hands are under it.

Are Bills fans expectations too high????

I love the apologists. Not a single person disagrees. I started a thread to express my opinion (not seeing anything similar). The Bills have had bad stretches this year, but yesterday imo was different and they flat out looked bad the second half. No I did not listen to McD or others, nor have turned on the radio, and won't. Maybe I'm too tired as that second half (at least the 4th quarter) went on forever. I expect (and have said so) all to be corrected, just did not like what I saw. Yes my focus is on Allen and he threw his worst passes of the year yesterday. Overthrew receivers and seemed out of sorts. Just stating an opinion. -

I just said that the second have was a slog. Can say the same about the first half vs. Baltimore, but then they woke up and while probably closer then it should have been, the better team (Bills) won. Like above Davis made some mistakes and that was the first game where Josh threw some horrendous passes. Maybe just complacency, but that by far was just a terrible half both sides of the ball. -
Bills games should become a destination for opposing fans

Tickets to Bills games are already some of the most expensive in the NFL Resale market, so doubt they'll go up too much with a new stadium. https://www.espn.com/nfl/scoreboard/_/week/10/year/2022/seasontype/2 What I'd like is more games I can enjoy not having to wear 14 layers and worrying about 30 mph winds. -

As said the Bills have not played perfect ball at times this season. They trailed Baltimore by 17, were sloppy vs. LA & KC for the first half and somehow let Miami win, but yesterday just felt different. My hope is that this is actually a good thing for them, but just was spurring conversation. -

And the Bills trailed Baltimore by 17, but to me I was never overly concerned. Vs. KC they had 3 points with 2 minutes to go and the ball @ the 2 and again felt okay. Yesterday was different at least to me. -

Nowhere did I say I was worried, just talking about "Expectations". Yesterday was the first game this year I was not happy with. Sure I could complain they could have played better vs. Baltimore (blames it on the weather) and they really screwed up vs. Miami where 19 times out of 20 they win the game under similar circumstances. Yesterday's second half was just bad (and heck Teef agrees!!!😉). -

Nothing "doomering" at all. Just a little reality check. For me there isn't a single game where I don't expect the Bills to score every drive and make it look effortless. Yesterday they were bad the second half. My biggest worry prior to yesterday was "weather forecasts".😉 -

Pretty much what I said. Gone back & bolded the 10 point part.....😉 -

Never fails from some of the regulars. Billsfan1959 will always tell you that you are wrong when you question anyone about this team & House is "just too cool for school" and posts something pith, sarcastic and never says a single thing, just looks for a reaction. A little early & awaiting some other regulars to chime in. I'm not worried & certainly that wasn't the point of the thread (waiting to read that it is a LAMP Thread), just saying that was a brutal half of football I watched and "brought me a little back to earth", so to speak. -

Agreed, was a slog. Juxtapose this to the first half vs. KC, where the Bills had only 3 points going into the last 2 mins & I wasn't worried or overly upset with their play, just a little frustrated with leaving points out there. -

6-1, but a wake-up call when they needed it? -
Yes it is a Super Bowl Victory or bust year, but coming out of yesterday's game (particularly the second half) and you wonder whether we as fans have set the bar too high. The first half was vintage Buffalo (after the first three & out) and well on the way to 40+ points. Then came the second half & wonder if it was hubris, taking one's foot off the gas or just bad play and they looked shall we say "normal". The Bills were gashed on the run and the offense looked lost. Allen was underwhelming, missed some throws, others were bad and made mental errors (and a few drops). And the result was a 10 point victory. Yes I'm very conflicted. Sure I expect them to be angry vs. NYJ, but was yesterday's second half an anomaly, a wake-up call or a portend of things to come.

I just read the Athletics MVP Race article through week 7 & was bored to tears as there is nothing really to say. The fact they still had Lamar in the conversation said it all. The Bills are 6 weeks in and weather actually played a significant roll in the Baltimore game, the offense was shut down vs. LA, Tenn & Pitt come midway through the third & fourth quarters and the one blot on the year vs. Miami players were suffering heat stroke says an awful lot. The Bills beat KC, who lost to Indy and while Mahomes played well, Allen played better on the road vs. them. A lot can happen, but right now it isn't really close and the goal is the SB, not MVP.

Then the Bills would've scored 50. Not a problem. Was never worried vs. KC until they got the ball back with one minute. As long as the Bills offence has the ball, I'm seldom concerned (even 3rd & 12 at the 2).😉 -
MNF: Chicago Bears at NE Patriots - with Manningcast!

Belichek found a Unicorn (in Tom Brady) and has been living off him for 20+ years. Remember he wanted to deep-six Tom for Jimmy too. He's found a few servicable QB's and has a good system, but 50% of the offensive credit goes to TB12. -
Trust me too, I was very upset when Cincy beat you guys. I can only imagine what the boards looked like then. Should be a fun year.
