  1. Yes people seem to overlook how many times Josh bails them out. Tom Brady probably is sacked 6 times yesterday and scores 10 points. After the first 3 drives, there was the 94 drive and the rest was certainly disjointed. The Bills were 9-15 on third down and mostly because Josh had to make plays.
  2. Congrats comparing Josh Allen with Zach Wilson...... Got it.... NYJ Offense also stacks up well with Buffalo Bills offense. The Jets should have been blown out of the water, but the Bills Defense made Zach Wilson look good. So now you expect so little out of the Bill offense that 355 yards is a really good performance? Sorry that I expect more.
  3. Chip off the old block my son. Came down this morning and said. Easy win, but really they did not play too well and OL blocking was terrible.
  4. My favourite one......😉 Best actually was vs. KC before half.
  5. What crusade? Humour elude you on the Punt joke (vs. NE)? After two weeks our punter appeared was going to be the 2020's equivalent of the Maytag Repair Man. I didn't make a big deal about the game, have in other posts laughed that we are concerned over a 9-3 record. I mentioned as said that the blocking was not great and that 5 drops is an awful lot in a game (and fortunately didn't matter "THIS" game). A critical eye will also point out other things, but I have only mentioned them when questioned.
  6. 5 Dropped passes at least is normal every week? GTFOH Wow the Bills had 355 Yards offense.... Wow what a dominating performance.....😂 We punted vs. NE, something they didn't do the previous 8 quarters vs. them😉. It was a nice win, but still work to do. Just win they did and I brought up two things I saw.
  7. Zach Wilson is not Josh Allen..... Allowing Josh Allen & the Bills time consuming drives (or 2 minute scoring drives) should happen all the time. Allowing a Zach Wilson led NYJ to gash you defense is not good.
  8. Missed you too..... You do know it had been weeks since I started a thread.....😉 Where did I skew it here? Was the pass blocking good last night? Did the Bills not drop a lot of passes? Yes or no answers will do.
  9. I can only imagine the Pats fan boards..... You watch Jones more then anyone here, but Bills fans know him better?? I listen to the Ringer & Bill Simmons echoes what most are saying in NE, that stats mean little concerning Mac Jones, they look okay but belie that he is not playing well. Oh and only the Bills contend with injuries, not other teams.
  10. What with you????? You asked a question as to how many points NE scored the first time vs. NYJ. It was a very unimpressive 22, which I answered. No you, Teef & 1-2 others get all worked up when there is anything perceived at all negative. I started a thread discussing two concerns from yesterday Pass Blocking and Drops. You are turning it into something different.
  11. He dropped a third down pass, not huge, but yes the thread mentioned drops and Diggs unfortunately did drop one and when we we needed a catch vs. Minny it was another one (the fact that both were very similar is why I brought it up. Keep obsessing about it though.
  12. You mean the 22 points & <300 yards offense & 1 TD (and intercepted Wilson 3 times) their first meeting? Yep an offensive juggernaut..... There I said it.
  13. I was looking for a thread (before starting one myself) about the bad lone play (pass blocking) and the drops. There were none and I wasn't going to root through threads to find comments on them.
  14. I apologize for looking at the game with a critical eye. He has dropped 6 passes. I wouldn't give him up for anything, but should I point out Justin Jefferson (who Minny drafted with the pick) has dropped only 2.
  15. Whoa...... I was just making a point in response to someone else's thread. Yes only 10 points allowed however ask any NE fan and they are not impressed with NE's offense Mac Jones play (though he played well vs. Minny). I know I have said it here before, listen to the ultimate Boston homer Bill Simmons (and the Ringer) and they scoff at NE's offense. BTW they scored 3 points on offense vs. NYJ.
  16. The Bills I thought were sloppy at times. They gutted out two time consuming drives (one a 14 play only 56 yard drive, which if a NE fan, would have been excruciating to watch). They had a TD called back, a strip fumble too and allowed a 2 yard pass go 45 for a TD. Add to that, the thread highlighted some bad blocking (which I seldom notice, so when I do it means it was obvious) and drops. Sorry only 24 points just is okay too.
  17. And you didn't see 5 drops or whiffed blocks during pass protection???? Defense played well, but forced no turnovers, only 1 sack and NE too shot themselves in the foot a few times too. Woohoo the Bills beat Mac Jones after big games vs. Goff & Brissett too.....
  18. Still was a drop. Yep it happens, but reminded me of the one vs. Minny, which to me cost them the game (would have been 1st down on the 40/45 yard line and then they need one more first down and the game is over). 3rd & 15 at BUF 23 (3:40 - 4th) (Shotgun) J.Allen pass incomplete deep left to S.Diggs (H.Smith).
  19. Way too many threads so two quick observations. I seldom pay close attention, but yesterday the pass blocking seemed terrible at times with the strip fumble being one of many whiffs yesterday (and a holding penalty that cost the Bills 7). Got to clean that up. And the Bills must have dropped 5 passes minimum last night (Knox, Singletary, Gabe & even Diggs). See both Davis & Diggs @ 6 drops (though Davis has a 10% drop rate). https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2022/receiving_advanced.htm Love Diggs, but there have been times I've seen him mistime some leaps and drop catchable balls. Yesterday a 20 yarder on 3rd down and one that was not talked about enough with 4 minutes to go vs. Minnesota on 3rd down the exact same type of pass that forced a punt and all contributed to the end of that game. Can't do that when games are on the line and as the playoffs approach.
  20. You'd have hoped after 24 hours he'd have figured it out.
  21. Well done eball, better then I predicted, 65 positive responses. Now I understand why anything at all critical of the Bills is met with such vitriol. And never question McD.🤣
  22. Check how many of my threads are called LAMP by certain people? This was tongue in cheek as a response to what is called a LAMP thread They were a fraud at 11-0, that was often discussed.
  23. The Bills have been badly out coached the second half since the bye week. The offense has/should have the talent to overcome it and the defense has been suspect. Sure they make adjustments, however the opposing teams make better ones. Again we all want the Bills to win and we can all agree that early in the season many were predicting a magical season and right now there is doubt. NE sorry should not be a scary game, but now is.
  24. No it is a LAMP post, as my threads too are called. If you are happy with the Bills and a fan of McD, you'll be all over these threads. If you have been meh or down about the coaching, you'll think different. And I don't disagree, but still the Bills have been off since the bye week. We all hope this is just a lull, but ever since the second half of GB, just has not been good.
  25. I was not commenting on the coaching, just how these type of threads are posted to elicit positive response. I think coaching has been so so..... I am unhappy with the defensive play calling and some decisions. Let's leave it at that. But the Bills are 8-3. NE will be a big test. No excuse to lose vs. them.
