  1. The QB sneak is the right play. Every good team and especially one with a QB like Allen you get to the line and snap immediately and go forward (take a look at Jalen Hurts and how simply they convert them). They didn't vs. Tenn and looked a little unprepared. Vs. Minny again if McD was so well prepared and has his team the same, it never happens. Again they looked lost on that play. I'm not blaming McD for Minny and that fumble, but for all those telling us how the Bills are so well coached and prepared, they blew it there. Live by the sword, die by the sword (those defending McD at all costs).
  2. He chose Peterman. You can not defend Peterman. All credibility is lost when Peterman was named the starter. Alex Smith was a Pro-Bowl QB and a top 4 AFC team. Naming a rookie the Starter on a team coming off a 12-4 record was not gooing to happen. We've seen the same playing out in SF and the issues in GB. Once the Bills got rid of Tyrod & drafted Allen they should have been building an offense for him. I will say it again Peterman
  3. No it is about Alex Smith (who made the Pro Bowl the prior and that year) on a playoff team, vs. Peterman already a proven disaster on a rebuilding team that was at the bottom of the league in offense.
  4. Oh you mean the #7 pick, who actually was not the starter that season it was Peterman (except game one again he did Paterman things and they gave up after one half).... Too easy. And yes Alex Smith vs. Peterman is too a fair comparison.
  5. Yes he made many so so decisions no doubt (and that includes last year's AFC Championship game). But he made the one important decision, naming Mahomes the starter in 2018.
  6. Again regardless the OL was noticeably bad vs. NE and yes I acknowledged much was Quessenberry. And I can say the same about you, it doesn't matter, you've made up your mind.
  7. That ultimately lies with the coach. Sorry never heard that confirmed and if ever a time for everyone to be on the same page it was with 13 seconds to go in the playoffs vs. Mahomes.
  8. And if the Bills lose on Sunday, regardless of the situation, anyone posting negative here will be an IDIOT? I will say right now barring an Allen injury, absolutely no excuse to lose Sunday vs. NYJ. If they allow them again to have time consuming drives and convert third downs I'll be very upset. If they don't play with a chip on their shoulders the next two weeks (against the teams that beat them earlier this year) I'll be pissed. If they let them hang around and it is a tooth & nail affair I'll be concerned. I expect none of that, but if there are issues on the OL and more drops (i.e. 3-5 again) then I may start a thread.😝
  9. This is a pro McD website, which is what I pointed out. I expect no different and yes your shorts are in a knot when anyone suggests McD isn't perfect. As for the above, that was as you know when I said there were OL issues vs. NE, which stuck out like a sore thumb watching the game and that the receivers dropped too many passes (which they did and was proven correct with 5 drops). The horrors!!!!!
  10. How many times do I have to say he's grown on me? And yes there are plenty of McD apologists, just look at all the threads started praising him and the the positive reactions. And no not yet......😝 Nope I blame the kickoff on him too. Was the wrong call. Seen multiple times this year the positional or short kick (not to the 10-15, but high and short to the 5-10 yard line) take 5 seconds off and return short of the 25.
  11. You say Potato, I say Potatoe. Rex took over a great D, made it worse and improved the O. McD turned it around again and had no idea what to do with the O and they were terrible for the first two years and particularly point differential. I've said McD has improved, time will tell if he get's to the top of the mountain which should be the goal this year (and for the next 5-7 too).
  12. Asked a question and again you try and turn it on me. And you happily absolve him (or say sh!t happens)? They were 9-7, quit pretending it was the greatest coaching feat ever. The prior year they were 7-7 and were eliminated in week 16 in OT (btw a last minute TD vs. Miami) and then Rex was fired and no one cared the following week. He did not turnaround a 4-12 team.
  13. But can we all agree that vs. KC there were multiple errors and all McD (or him in collaboration with the coaching staff) needed to do was make one correct one and they win? Compound that with offering no defense during OT (which we continue to see too often with long drives and bend not break strategy that cost the Bills the Jets & Minny game).
  14. That may be unfair. I have no idea as do the majority on this board. He has JA17 as we keep saying & no idea just how much he means. People keep going on about the Playoffs year 1, where he went 9-7 (following a 7-9) year and was heralded a hero, which he was not. I was very critical at just how much he ignored the offense and the issues I saw there. Will bang the drum again that he thought Peterman was a starting NFL QB. He is fine, makes some mistakes (and 13 seconds was unacceptable) and just hope that he isn't put in position this year to make them in the playoffs. This team was a pretty overwhelming favourite to win the PB at the beginning of the season and now are just one of 5 or 6 who can. Who is to blame for that?
  15. Rather I start a new thread????😉😝 Just confirming the 5 drops (vs. your 4) and thought the QB comps were interesting. Got you to look however😝
  16. And there we can agree. He's grown on me, but still a little way to go. I just admittedly am put off by the word "Culture"
  17. So official (or at least according to this site) 5 drops week 13..... https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/advanced-stats-qb.php?team=BUF&range=week&week=13 So Allen has 27 drops (or 2/wk) & as a comp. Burrow 21 Manhomes 25 Jackson 26 Hurts 19 Brady 24 Rodgers 28 Carr 18 Herbert 27 Dallas 15 Tua 20 As said I just pointed out that Week 13 was a bad week for drops.
  18. Well I just read Tom Brady's (& Giselle's) charitable foundation gave out very little and some of the bigger sums were given to Yoga Studios... So yes I do care where Allen's goes and the amount. https://nypost.com/2022/11/17/tom-brady-and-gisele-bundchen-foundation-gave-less-than-1-of-their-worth-to-charity-from-2007-2019/
  19. So if you don't follow and support McD blindly, you're an idiot?
  20. Look this is a pro McD website, so if you want to make friends & influence people, come here and post about what he has done for the team & franchise and you'll have plenty of compliments & applause. He came to a team that continually struggled in mediocrity (always 7-9 to 9-7) and no playoff births. He started by working on the defense and decimating any vestiges of an offense the Bills had. He was too responsible for the great Peterman fiasco and others, yet somehow got them in the playoffs year one (again thankyou Andy Dalton) at 9-7 and did find a way to be competitive most weeks (though people forget all the duds and blowouts particularly in years one & two). He got a transcendental qb, and to me that has been the reason for the improvement in the team. What would be a 9-8 team (much like prior) is now a SB favourite thanks to Allen more so than anything else. People too forget he blew the Houston playoff game. So a cautionary tale is simply don't question McD as eball who posted a thread last week with 80+ likes and this one right now @ 37 positive (and 5 negative reactions), or else you will see thumbs down, disagree, eye roll and vomit emojies reacting to your posts.😉
  21. Always love the McD luvfest!!!! As I asked is this Bills team and record about McD or is it about Allen?
  22. Actually without Allen I see McD as a .500 Coach without Belichick's pedigree. But again he is growing on me and he may prove me wrong and I'll be happy when the Bills hoist the Lombardi. I know I complained about the lack of 300-yard games but I don't think I've had too many complaints about the close losses until last year and yes it was an issue. My biggest complaint was bungling up 13 seconds and yes that was about coaching 100%.
  23. Actually it's all about context teef. I'm pretty sure I've discussed this before when it came up. If you want to consider back door covers one score games go ahead. I'm talking the Cleveland game this year or Miami and Oakland in 2020. Yes they beat the LA Rams two but gave up a 28-3 lead midway through the 4th in that one ( reminiscent of the Minnesota game). I've said McD has grown on me. Tell you what let's have this thought-provoking thread. Who would you rather have McD or Allen?
  24. I have no idea who Brock Purdy is, but no way should he have played like that vs. Miami. Their D blew it.
  25. 49'ers coaching must be outstanding (or the Dolphins defense should be brought to task), when a third string QB (7th round rookie) plays like that.
