  1. Footing is an issue in the snow and that can be a great equalizer. GB who were the top seed the last two years oh, guess what happened when they were playing cold weather? Don't blame Rodgers. The elements played a factor.
  2. Almost everyone is good with a 10 and 3 record, what people are posting about is how they got there. You cannot ignore that there have been issues.
  3. Corrected it for you. Bills would have won by 14 and then hosted KC.
  4. Agreed, but weather like this could easily adversely affect the Bills too. A close game and the DB slips defending Hill and next thing you know an 80 yard TD. Weather creates a lot of variables, mostly negative.
  5. Agree to some extent, but up until HT of GB I was fine. Agreed bad first halves vs. Balt (much I blamed on the weather) & KC it was more mistakes (they punted one time in the half), but I was never worried that they couldn't turn it on. Heck I remember them getting the ball at the 4 yard line vs. KC and thinking "96 yards before half, no problem". Since GB and the # of Ints (cleaned up of late) and way too many 3 & outs (or short drives).
  6. They've also lost close games, not sure that's a great thing either. As I see it they are 3-3 with Baltimore, KC & Detroit wins offset by Miami, Minny & Jets losses. Always looking for the silver lining?
  7. Struggle is a few games (maybe 3). It's been 6.5 games (with NE being closest to a good game but #'s just okay).
  8. Sure fun to watch on TV & if no wind, can be fun to be there too (leaving is another story), but when it can affect the outcome (i.e. a slip or fumble at a crucial time) it is a harrowing game to watch. I know not snow, but that NE game last year was played in conditions that ruined the game.
  9. Don't disagree, to me this year has gone on longer. They haven't put together one complete game since the bye. Redzone wasn't the same issue either. Trust me I hope I am wrong.
  10. The eye test sorry is what counts. I don't care about stats (remember the wind game, Jax and Indy were awful). The Bills offence has been off/stagnant since the second half of the GB game.
  11. So do I, but the last 6.5 weeks (second half vs. GB) have been just off.
  12. Still the favourites, just the odds have shrunk. They were the clear one at the beginning of the year and seems the consensus is they still are (as the #1 seed), but whereas only KC was close at the beginning of the season, more in the mix now. https://www.legalsportsreport.com/odds/super-bowl/
  13. Yes Buffalo is cold and again the plan is for an open air stadium in the snowbelt (and don't forget the wind). Frankly I don't get it. The season ends with no reprieve NE (night game got lucky it was okay weather), NYJ (rain/snow), Night game Miami, @ Chicago, Night game @ Cincy & TBD NE. All their division rivals have it easier (yes Miami is in Miami)..... Check others and all have better "weather" schedules. I guess I'm just not as tough.
  14. Instead of a new thread. Let me say it again, this schedule is terrible. Weather related issues way too often and now look @ Miami forwarcast & Chicago next week. https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/Chicago+IL?canonicalCityId=51327091448a763db3e0093b240009381d87952467e6c2ba8bad55f1328ec986
  15. That's being generous. They got lucky on the 4th down penalty on the first one, a decent drive the second one, but nothing explosive and then two drives that netted 46 yards (yes a crucial 3rd down drop on one). You're more correct on the fact they went 3 & out twice when they could have put the game away. How about 5 straight punts and maybe 3 first downs to start the game? This is an elite offense playing lousy.
  16. Who wants to watch that putrid snorefest? Thankfully a victory, not much else.
  17. https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/advanced-stats-qb.php?range=full Had the Bills with 4 Drops. Doubt they counted the Brown or Knox passes dropped. Josh now #1!!!!
  18. Wasn't an issue when I posted these threads.😉 https://www.twobillsdrive.com/community/topic/244296-great-catches-by-bills-receivers-are-they-winning-1-on-1-battles/ Been watching all year and yes every team has drops, but the Bills obviously have a few more & there are those inopportune ones that really gnaw at you (sure other team fans will point out theirs too). The last two games have been bad, but heck the Bills won so the good news is we've gotten away with a lot (though I can think of one late game drop, and another catchable one that contributed to two of the Bills losses, that most may not remember).
  19. Just need Knox to make that catch or two when needed. Lately when we need him to hold on to the ball, he hasn't. Inconsistent this year and not enough catches.
  20. No the goal every week is to win by 40+. Sometimes you have to grind it out. The Bills have been grinding it out pretty much every game. The QB's we've played since the bye are a disinterested Rodgers, Goff, Brisset, Cousins, Wilson, White & Mac Jones (have to use his full name). The Playoffs may/could be Mahomes, Jackson, Burrow, Herbert, Tua, Hurts or Prescott amongst others.
  21. Yes because McD tells them before every game, let's just win by 1. Let's make sure the game is in doubt until the final minute. I don't want a repeat of Pittsburgh or NE. Oh & Dorsey, let's make sure the Offense sputters and gives the other teams as many chances as possible. Let's see hwat our defense is made of. Boy I want to prove those people wronmg who say we can't win a close one.
  22. Another LAMP Post as can be seen by the positive reactions (yes I am the Vomit). As soon as I read these titles, I know what the reactions will be. After last year and all the close losses, nice to have won 3 this year (Bal, KC & Detroit), but these close games against non playoff (or barely .500 teams) is not a good thing if not sprinkled with a convincing blowout and dominant performance along the way. Let's look at Dallas. Yesterday they survived Houston, but they destroyed Minny and had while not dominant (as games were in doubt in the third quarter, very comfortable wins vs. NYG & Indy. People remember the Minny game, while the Bills last really good "dominant" game was Pitt?
  23. Good they were drops in my book as in both cases the receiver had both hands securely on the football prior to any contact. Will see Fantasy Pros tomorrow.
  24. That I expect doesn't include Week 14.
  25. While I don't know the official definition, only very obvious drops are counted, i.e. when coverage is not there and the receiver does not need to make any extraordinary effort to catch or hold onto a ball. I.e. even though John Brown had both hands on the ball and was securing the catch, once the NYJ player's hands knocked it out, that would not be a drop (exact same same with Knox where the ball was jarred loose though he had it secured to his body). Basically you need to hit the player in the #'s and they drop it on their own accord or like Singletary or MacKenzie have two hands securing the ball and drop it with out a Defensive player contacting you. Yesterday there were drops, but also a # of contested catches that need to be made (at least once in a while). I doubt those were called drops. If they were let me know. Can sort below by week and will include week 14 tomorrow. https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/advanced-stats-qb.php?range=week&week=14
