  1. Recent games they've allowed 6-8 (one being fourth & 10 vs. Jets). Not good. They've gotten agreed some big third down stops, but then the concern is how they got to 3rd & 1 or 2 too. Always a debate.
  2. Here's an article I found and focused on Arizona who started last season 7-0. https://sports.yahoo.com/are-the-arizona-cardinals-benefitting-because-of-fumble-luck-162300926.html
  3. Welcome to put me on ignore. I stated a fact and concern about Ints. What is so outlandish about stating a fact?
  4. Appreciate it as always. At least I didn't start a new thread?😉 Yes I think that no ints is an issue. The fumbles they've recovered are as said often a 50/50 proposition. Bills btw have recovered quite a few fumbles (it is incorrect below, but they have recovered over 50% of FF). https://www.nfl.com/stats/team-stats/defense/fumbles/2022/reg/all
  5. Just did a deeper dive. Bills are +1 in Turnovers during the year. They started off on fire with 8 the first two games and then two each vs. Baltimore, Pitt & KC.... As said since the bye only an Int vs. Rodgers and 2 vs. Cousins and none the last 5 games. They've relied on fumbles with 2 vs. NYJ (second game) and heck two vs. Detroit. As stated above too, 4th down conversions they have allowed too many 16/27, which means teams are going for it a lot vs. Buffalo (actually most in the league). Third down conversions for the #4 Defense is too middle of the pack. Haven't found average yards to go stat. So what this tells me is that they were very good early in the season and as said, no ints the last 5 games, have benefitted from fumbles and as said allowed 6-8 4th down conversions. Let's hope it changes soon.
  6. I remember one play he went off and that was after that ridiculous lateral for -3 yards. That pass/lateral was an ill-advised play that appeared to be run just to get him the ball and it appeared Diggs was upset at the call and a play that had no opportunity of success. Could see frustration that has was not getting the ball thrown his way and this does come up every once in a while. Fine balance between getting him involved and forcing his the ball.
  7. But the last two years were the first with 7 playoff teams. I was looking at road teams. At least in 2020 KC made the SB as the #1 seed. GB both years hated playing in the cold.😉
  8. Rams won the division 2021. Was there and wasn't close. Montana was outplayed by his back-up. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/199401230buf.htm
  9. And last year Tenn had the bye & lost to Cincy & GB to SF. That bye week sometimes creates issues.
  10. Why, I still think they'll win it, just have not seen a complete game in a long while.
  11. Yep two penalties and wondered what took so long? Maybe one was arguing that give them 5 not 21 yards and put them into FG position? But both a hold and a DPI.
  12. Anything questioning the Bills and not 100% positive is not allowed here and it will be responded to with Emojis and silly responses telling you exactly how they feel. We're all thrilled that they are 11 and 3, however pointing out that it has been a slog does not mean we're so down on them.
  13. And the same was said about NE and Brady for years. Difference is the Bills have not dominated anyone for a while
  14. Again thanks for missing the point. No Ints in 5 games (close doesn't count this isn't horseshoes or hand grenades). Fumbles in a scrum can bounce anywhere, so yes recoveries are often a random occurance (many articles confirm that). Only two 4th down stops in the last 5 games (one ended the game on 4th & 10). Meanwhile if you're going to obsess over 4th down the Bills have been bad the last 5 weeks. Cleveland 1 for 2 Detroit 3 for 3 NE 1 for 1 NYJ 0 for 1 (4th & 10 to end the game) Mia 1 for 1 So opposition converting 6 for 8 or 75% For the season conversion rate is 48% throughout the league.
  15. Are you calling the Jets 4th & 10 to end the game a turnover? Only other in the 5 games was vs. Cleveland. And yes in came Flacco the statue and we got the strip fumble the first play.
  16. Another reason the defense is not looking good is the lack of interceptions and big plays. Fourth down stops I don't count and fumbles are really 50/50 propositions (unless strip sacks). Face it a little lucky vs. NYJ (got two fumbles), but would be nice to get an int and give the offense a short field.
  17. Against the Bills, easier to score from 12 yds then it is from 2 to 3. The ball was right where I was supposed to be the receiver dropped it. We just said the same thing if it was Josh. And would have had a field day if it was Mackenzie or Davis dropping it.
  18. 11-3, but disjointed. Right now a team that is definitely a Super Bowl Contender but not one that strikes fear like they did in 2020 and 2021. The only thing the opposition is worried about is Josh Allen.
  19. I don't think there was much they could do having only two timeouts and the Bills moving the ball. It was going to be a field goal at the end of the game regardless.
  20. The Bills too were lucky they dropped a td pass. One thing the Bills have been good at is defending first and goal inside tge 5. The issue is allowing them to get there.
  21. Regardless a hold was called on that play which would have negated any catch.
  22. MacKenzie was held prior to the dpi too.
  23. When Allen makes a bad decision or throw you are surprised. A few yesterday, but under pressure and tough conditions. Again was there a single great catch made (yes Diggs on the first drive made one). When he missed Diggs in the third I was surprised. Again the play to end the half can only be made by Allen & Mahomes. The last drive in terrible conditions was vintage Allen. Big third down passes in big situations. The DPI on MacKenzie was too after a hold on him.
  24. The point was all they did was rush. They didn't even pretend they were going to pass. That's when the rushing #'s jump out. Knew it was coming and still was fairly effective.
  25. Yes I remember the game clearly too. The TD run sorry is inexcusable when you know all NE is doing is running the ball. The conditions were atrocious and ruined the game. The FG was missed too due to Bass trying to compensate for the wind. The fact Allen could actual throw in the wind again showed just how good he is (I remember the 2-3 passes Mac tried and they were pathetic). Forecast looks a little better for tonight.
