And then let me know why Bills receivers don't have many YAC? Why are they not catching balls on the run and turning an yard pass into 25? Where are the slants or successful screens? It's great to make this post, and there is some truth in it, just that you've made a statement and backed none of it up.

The 15 point swing that turned a blowout into a nailbiter

He went up and caught the ball. I see receivers do that every week, but when it's a Bill not named Diggs, it is a circus catch😝. Don't forget too that the play meant nothing (forget they didn't score that drive) as their was a holding penalty on Miami that would have resulted in a first down anyways. -
For the umpteenth time, the first interception was on John Brown for cutting off the route (and then compounding it, by not tackling Howard at the 5 yard line). The second bounced off Beasley's chest. Shakir was wide open and dropped a perfect pass that as stated in my thread cost the Bills probably 15 points and then the second int doesn't happen and in all liklihood the strip fumble (which was a helmet to helmet hit). Gabe as always did too drop a long ball.

And when Chase, Jefferson, Evans, Adams, Brown, Williams, Lamb and others make those catches the QB is hailed for a great pass. At worst an incompletion. I remember the first. The second was a great defensive play where the DB got his hand on the ball and Romo agreed on the replay. What was the tird?

Waddle dropped one that would have put them around the 30 yard line early in the game. And you're conceding a TD on that drive? The Hill drop was a 8 yard pass on the Miami side of the field, and you're claiming it would have been a game changer too???? Not even I'm so cynical. You quoted my post but said nothing about that I said as I pointed out drops (and catches too) on perfect balls that somehow shows Allen making the wrong read. That was a joke video imo.

Some here love the idea of three yards & a cloud of dust offense.....🤣🙄 Just watched the video in the thread and see Gabe drop the long ball (i.e. the semi-contested catch we haven't seen a Bill make all year). Shakir drops a perfect 54 yarder, Beasley causes an Int as it bounces off his chest. Brown breaks off route resulting in another interception. The best is the video showing the perfect read to Davis (was a nice catch as underthrown) and anticipating and hitting Diggs for 50 and just missing him on the first play from scrimmage. I say double down given the same opportunities.

The 15 point swing that turned a blowout into a nailbiter

It may as the Bills would be playing Jax this week (and the Cincy game would have meant nothing since all teams won week 18). Again a lot of plays we can focus on, I used the Shakir play because it was such a key one and the time it happened and the # of points it involved. There was under 2 minutes in the half, the score was 17-6 and the clock would have been running. Miami at best probably get's the ball back with 1:20 down 24 (or 20-6), which is probably the score at half. At that point you think Skylar can run a 2 minute offense? This wasn't it cost the Bills 4 or 7 points (or a dumb play or TO or penalty or momentum), it directly cost them in the end 15 points (good thing they kicked that fg to close the half😉). It was an easy catch. -

Not technically a drop and only 4 points. Shakir's was a drop as it was a perfect pass (much like Gabe Davis last week vs. NE in the endzone) and cost them upwards of 15. -

See above it was a good catch that pros make, but didn't lead to points or amount to anything because there was a penalty on the play that would have given the bills the first down. I would certainly traded that 54 yard catch which changed the entire complexion of the game.😜 Yes it was not an easy catch and not sure why it was overturned. But again these are those catches the Bills don't have enough of. -

And everyone talking about the third and one catch by Shakir (a good catch), there was a holding call so either way the Bills get a first down. -
The 15 point swing that turned a blowout into a nailbiter

I get it I'm just pointing out one playthat originally was a perception and even after the replay still could have been called that. And it goes back to my continual concern about the Bills making that catch when they have to. It was a perfect pass and an easy reception, that Shakir dropped. And it wasn't a 7 point play it was potentially 15. -

Please explain? We've acknowledged the Waddell drop. What other ones? A couple of 6-8 yarders? -

Yep hope there's a chip on their shoulders. One big one by Waddell early (the other was broken up). Others were short throws. This was a 54 yard completion to the 15. -
Yes we know Huntley on the 4th and goal vs. The Bengals, but the play seldom discussed as the game changer was Shakir bobbling the perfect pass from Allen at the 2 minute mark in the second quarter. Catch that and first and 10 at the 15, clock running up 17-6. A td there, doubt Miami scores and minimum 20-6 or 24-6 at half. Sliding doors moment, where next thing you know it was 17-17 (and since the Bills did kick a FG was 20-17 at half, and as opposed to an 18 point lead at half it was 3 and thus 15 points). Boy it would be nice of our receivers brought a few more catches in. Yes Knox and Davis had nice catches, but as I keep saying that's the exception not the norm.

Again huh? He was 4th in QB rushing. No he is not Fields, Hurts, Lamar or Josh, but have to be prepared.
-
And neither has happened the last two weeks (NE & Miami). How did he get sacked 7X's?
-
Huh???? He ran for 708 yards this season. He is a rushing QB. If there is a spy on Allen, then more chance a receiver is open and room to run. Please explain.
-
Okay have not read 17 pages, but will add my thoughts. Neither team was impressive yesterday. Huntley not very good and we all saw the Miami game. Burrow from what I saw didn't wow. Both teams know they need to play much better and Buffalo is home. Happy it isn't a 1:00 pm game as for some reason, those were amongst the Bills worst all season (including all 3 losses).
-
And receivers wide open. How come Allen is no longer elusive and running?
-
Actually the Shakir non catch was the difference between probably 24-6 @ half & 20-17.... That was with under 2 minutes. They score there & take time off the clock the game is over. Instead, long punt return (fg), Beasley doesn't secure catch & Int (td)..... Probably on 4th & 8, Milano misses easy tackle and allows first down and eventual FG.
-
And again no easy passes and minimal YAC and just disjointed again. And 7 sacks!!!!!
-
Refs take over the game
-
And easy passes and yac for the Vikings. Do the Bills have the same?
-
Easy passes and yac.... Ughhh
