Goff doesn't even look at him.... No idea what is going on. The Bills however miss him big time!!!!

Watkins admits he was selfish, upset after wins.

Dennison Likes What He's Seen from His Offense
Billsfan1972 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We get it.... The Bills are 3-1 and thus the offense is great regardless of their actual stats. What they have done is hold on to the ball and have 1 TO..... If they go the entire season with 4 TO's and 12-4 I will eat my words....... -

Too bad you are not a gm as others would love you. Antonio Brown wants more targets???? Trade him. OBJ upset that Manning missed him when open? Trade him Every elite receiver is available for a backup and a draft choice. And a 1,000 yards receiving and fewer targets then any contemporary really sucks. -
If the bills lose this week, does your opinion change?
Billsfan1972 replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My opinion is already tempered. If we lose 35-31 and the Offense is productive, that would excite me (in a loss). -
Well it happened week 2 and the offense, coaches & GM showed exactly the result of their lack of preparation on that side of the ball (oh and giving Watkins away for nothing except hope). I went back 18 years and the Bills often started 2-2 or 3-1 and we know what the net result was. What you have to be most impressed with is that they just are not turning the ball over and yes basically every call has gone their way.

And there's the issue...... Gave away Watkins and having to make 2-3 incredible throws/wk. Add to that an offense not putting up 300 yards and outside 1 drive/game seldom chewing up the clock. Sorry been here before and still feel cheated by the GM and ownership in how they have set up the team for the season. Yep all has gone almost perfect through 4 weeks and the one game they needed 10 points they couldn't muster it.

So wrong. He fumbled the ball, created no offense, was sacked 6 times and wow completed 2 passes for 23 yards that final drive. He was absolutely the reason the Bills were not up 20 points that game. McNair had 76 yards passing and Eddie George while he ran it okay 119 yards on 29 carries (checked the box score) were stuffed. Johnson was the reason they lost. If Flutie put up those #'s I'd have said the same about him...... Yep and then they stopped looking at Watkins (who burned them the first half) and tried to grind it out. With the Raiders they just got steamrolled and forgot how to play offense. Both on the road and a terrible defense. Thanks for taking it so literally.......

Too bad, may have been one of the most assinine discussion threads ever....... Doug Flutie pulled (many say by the owner's proclomation) for the playoff game. The Defense played maybe the best game I've ever seen, making up for Rob Johnson's ineptitude on offense. Rob Johnson should never have started the game and was just terrible, but many argued that he left the field leading and his 60 minutes of lousy play didn't contribute to the loss........ Much like the offense being near the bottom this year, but the Bills being 3-1......
-
I forgot that and still lost TOP....... Again very happy with the record, just not getting ahead of myself........ Tell you what if they make the playoffs and win throwing for less then 200 I'll be okay. BTW were you defending Rob Johnson the last time the Bills made the playoffs and he put up 132 yards passing, because he left the field with the lead?
-
The thread was not Anti-Tyrod, but an indictment of the entire offensive scheme and the lack of investment in the WR position and trading away Watkins for draft picks (Gaines has been a surprise, but if they wanted him, they didn't need to trade Watkins to get him). The issue is this Offense will be incapable of scoring and moving the ball and has to play almost perfect to amass 300 yards in offense. And Tyrod is not to blame.

3:50 mark, Watkins destroys a Cowboy. And yes Watkins was wide open of the Kupp TD. -

I was not going to read 8 pages, but this was the post I was waiting for........ All the experts explaining why Matthews was better then Watkins and pointing to his durability. Goff still not looking for Watkins, but anyone catch that hit he made on Gurley's td reception? -

Under 300 yards offense the last 3 games and we are extolling this exciting juggernaut???? -
I started the thread and my issue is not with Tyrod...... Have said this over and over. It is with a terrible offensive scheme, unimaginative play calling, trading away his stud #1 receiver and getting excited about under 300 yards weekly in offense. It's like owning a Hyandai Accent..... Reliable car, but as soon as you need it to do something it won't.

Yes a win.... Still concerned that this offense really can't do anything or moreso, an OC that doesn't want to allow them.
