Bortles played out of his mind for a half and then as expected slowly regressed and was Bortles again...... Foles threw for 350+ yards and put up eye-popping 2013 stats........ I dream a Bills qb is capable of that...... Yes you need a franchise competent QB........

It was a pathetic game to watch (and did with friends)...... We did get excited when Shady caught (and ran) for 40 only to again be killed by a penalty. Bortles couldn't hit the broadside of a barn (and announcers were shaking their head in disgust), but the Bills somehow let him run (and he is not TT, Wilson or Newton) for 85+ yards, which was pathetic and was the reason the Bills lost. Can't even give too much praise to the Buffalo defense as he was just so so bad...... OP who are these people who though the game was good? It was just terrible.

Not fair to overlook the game that had him promoted the NO mop up against many scrubs when the foot was off the pedal........ Again this is more on McDermott & Dennison who said he was ready and gave the Bills the best chance to win.......

KB took a really stoopid penalty just like Thompson, Clay stepping OB, Hold on a 20 yard punt return, O'leary dropping pass that him between the 8&4..... All backbreakers.....

Everything is Tyrod's fault..... Get it straight. On top of that why wasn't Kyle in as it worked like a charm last week? Tick-tack penalty that's never call unless blatant, which this was not at all.

No one's blaming Peterman. I just think it was apropos that it was Peterman throwing the interception, taking an intentional grounding penalty and making a terrible throw with 24 seconds left (after the 10 second runoff) to a flat footed receiver who couldn't have got out of bounds.

The intentional grounding & the pick were correct calls. He is what he is. I will admit my bias....... If this was after the blizzard game and mop ups, I'd think nothing of it. However that 5 Int performance was so bad it will take a long time for the stink to come off.

The Bills Offense is just so bad that the smallest mistakes can not be overcome. I pointed out 5 plays that just killed the offense. Sad that the Bills can't overcome adversity in any way.

Difference was with Tyrod out of the pocket he had no place to go. Bottles no where near the runner and couldn't throw a decent pass had tons of running space and both scores were due to his runs. Yes perfectly acceptable to ask.

Jacksonville was all over him and when out of the pocket he had nowhere to run. Jacksonville was lined up across the field. Meanwhile Bortles has wide open spaces to run..... Couldn't figure that out whatsoever. There was no reason Bortles should have run for 88 yards. While reffing was okay, the Bills took 3-4 backbreaking plays/penalties (all non-consequential) costing them 70-80 yards. 4th and 6 at JAX 27 (12:19 - 2nd) B.Nortman punts 52 yards to BUF 21, Center-C.Holba. B.Tate to BUF 39 for 18 yards (C.Grant). PENALTY on BUF-B.Borders, Illegal Block Above the Waist, 10 yards, enforced at BUF 24. 1st and 10 at 50 (10:36 - 3rd) T.Taylor pass incomplete short middle to N.O'Leary (M.Jack). 1st and 10 at BUF 26 (8:28 - 4th) (Shotgun) T.Taylor pass short right to L.McCoy ran ob at JAX 35 for 39 yards (B.Church). It was not tongue in cheek? Cousin Sal even mentions the tiebreaker. But McDermott knew they'd win it? Listen I am the one who said -7 would make the playoffs, but not 8-7-1..... I also said back in November they'd probably meet Jax and definitely could win. Boy I'm way off aren't I?

How wrong can one be???? You learn on the sidelines, like many qb's do..... See Brady, Garropolo........ Any success from later round picks came from learning for a minimum of 1 and often 2-3 years...... This was a joke..... Yes Peterman would have earned the Bills the #3 seed, which meant beating the Patriots twice, which actually would have gotten them the #1 seed....... Aim high my friend........ What a joke....... And some thought I was joking that Peterman should start vs. Jacksonville????
