  1. Could you imagine if a player said "Praise Allah"? Not a bias at all. Too bad you can't see that. Theyt are sseparate and distinct.
  2. I'm not religious, but remember clearly when Norwood lined up that 1990 kick and players kneeling in prayer (others holding hands). Didn't help..... It is very difficult to debate and believe me, when I say I feel bad for Peterm an, but he was put into way too many postions he had no right or ability to be in and one wonders over and over as to what went into those decisions.
  3. Faith is brought up too much talking about the Bills (or is it just Nate). Is this a fact or not (very serious)? "Faith based leader" too gives me reason to pause.
  4. And there's the issue and the Bills heirarchy continually makes you wonder how much faith comes into their decision making when choosing players. I want good character guys. Faith shouldn't factor in at all, but seems to inordantently be a criteria with the Bills. This is the NFL, not Notre Dame, SMU.....
  5. Speed yes matters, but running routes and passes to the right person at the right time helps too. No doubt better playcalling too. Pretty easy to see that. Oh and the Jets are bad.....
  6. Foster made a catch that a pro should make. He had a step on the DB and the pass was perfect. Sorry very little adjustment and the pass was where it should be. Give me a yard and I too better catch it. I was impressed he adjusted on his third catch and watched the ball the entire way and came back. You see those every week and expect the catch to be made.
  7. No it was different yesterday, just the formations were more creative (or 2018 football). Heck it was only 230 yards passing, but as starved fans, it seemd like 400.....
  8. Better close this thread. I said this too and it certainly is a theme played out over and over...... It deserves to be debated not closed (as mine was).
  9. The Bi8lls spread the field, thus allowing a running game too. And underneaths 4-5 yards downfield, not 1-2...... It looked pretty simple amd high %.
  10. I get tired of people explaining the nuances & X & O's in football. I've been watching the game for over 45 years & yes you have to scheme plays & offense, but today was very easy as the Bills looked like an NFL team on offense. Barkley completed only 15 passes, but they spread the field on formations, there was movement on the line and they completed simple plays that were well designed, easy reads and completions. They threw downfield and into seams down the middle. Three long completions. First a perfect pass to an open receiver in the field of play and right in his hands. Zay Jones another easy 35 yard pass that was on the money where it was one on one coverage. The last to Holmes underthrown, but only the receiver had a chance to adjust, did and a fairly easy catch. Yes a few bad throws, but also too ones where the receiver caught it running. Didn't look hard or ridiculously complicated, but accomplished because receivers were running patterns and the field was spread. Sort of like watching a real NFL team. It was refreshing.....
  11. Exactly...... Spreading the field and completing passes is exactly the point...... Again these dinosaurs have it backwards about the running game. Wow formations and passes we haven't seen in 9 previous weeks......
  12. Bears were home and Mack back. Detroit put up more yards too. I think even though my thread it is dead and I hope Peterman gets a practice squad job and opportunity elsewhere.
  13. 2017 I just reviewed the schedule and the Bills won 3 games by more then one score..... NYJ, Den & Oak (all at home and against terrible teams). Only 2 losses were one score losses (vs. Cin & Carolina) where the Offense failed misably, and again highlighted just how bad the Offense and the game planning was..... Sorry will say both should/could have been won with any semblance of one and yes Watkins...... So 5 losses blow-outs and 6 wins nailbiters and usually meant hanging on. Sorry was not a fun year looking at it this way.
  14. I was complaining plenty last year and the decisions McD made on the O were almost all failures..... Even wins were not satisfying for the most part. Again great & above average players get paid and shock of shocks the best stay with their teams and are resigned. The Only competent receiver that jumps off the team that has been traded or moved on is Golden Tate. Let me guess as a FA he'll be too rich for Buffalo's liking and doesn't fit the "culture". They did not have to tear down a 7-9 team (from 2016).....
  15. Well what TP should do, is come out and properly support his GM and assert he is in charge of the team. Make sure he hires the best OC and diminsh McD's influence on the desisions and hires on that side of the ball. A Sean McVay type acknowledged as the rising star and pay him above the going rate (only coaching). All the picks (except maybe first round) address the offense. McD's influence needs to be tempered as by all accounts it is just too much currently.
  16. He tore the Offense down in the pre-season in 2017 and people are still defending his Process, Culture, Play between the 20's & Buffalo Bills Football...... The Browns defense is fine...... I can only imagine what he would have done to their Offense.
  17. It was a tongue in cheek post.. I blame McD for the mess and was only commenting if Peterman remained on the bench, where he belonged how long would his career have lasted.
  18. Chase McDaniels has thrown........ 78 career passes...... $28,000,000/78 = $358,974/pass!!!!!!!
  19. Again Peterman is not an NFL ready QB and what McD did in 2017 was stupid and he doubled down this year. Quit comparing the 2017 5th round qb with the #7 pick.
  20. Some people seem to get it...... I don't care, never did about Peterman. No idea who he was outside the 5th round backup to TT in 2017. I was, and feel free to check my posts, highly critical and upset at the trading of Watkins and continually harpingon the inability or unwillingness to have an innovative passing game and inability to throw for 300 yards. I was on prior to the LAC game deriding the decision as lunacy. Not Peterman's fault, he is just the figurehead for what McD has done to this Offense. Where in Can't Help Myself did you get lost????? Not enough smilies to give it away?
  21. Peterman or McD? Peterman was probably fine as a fifth round draft pick. McD screwed it all up with his preseason moves in 2017 and thinking Offense is an afterthought.
  22. He wasn't ready and should never have seen the field beyond mop up duty..... As said tongue in cheek & while I never want to see Peterman start or succeed for the Bills, as that would be fools gold and we'd (as fans and those on this site) be stuck in multiple threads and back & forths as to his ability or to keep him and trot him out over & over, I do to some extent feel sorry & bad for him. As said too, this is entriely McD's fault. Now I wonder if anyone asks Chase Daniels whether he'd rather have $28,000,000 or have been given the opportunity that NP got? Oh & thanks to all that got the gist of the thread.......
