Then prior to the Bye Week. Two weeks on TSW and dreams of the playoffs, running the table, an offense that can move the ball and a defense that conjures up comparisons to the '85 Bears and that could slow the Rams, Chiefs & Saints. 55-Odd hours until we see what happens Sunday. Hope all enjoyed Thanksgiving.

Do you really think our #1 Defense could - -

And they scored 10 vs. the Titans.... They are not the 1985 Bears. -

Still think this was a better game, just early in the season and nowhere near the hype. Just look at the players and how many are in the HOF!!! -

And so did Kelly. Led touchdown drives the first two possessions and the Bills dominated and then injured. Was there and pouring rain. The Bills were infinitely better just not ready for all the distractions surrounding the Superbowl and only 1 week to prepare. Won't convince me otherwise...... Lol..... -

"It was a terrible game and not the way football is meant to be played...... Certainly not Buffalo Bills football!!!!!" - Coach McD? -

Can agree to disagree, the Bills were young, so over confident & in awe of the SB experience, that another week would have been huge..... Also a terrible 2-minute drill (think they got the ball with 2:39 left and somehow couldn't get beyond the 30 yard line. Should have easily won by 14+. -

Yes and needed that week to prepare. The turnaround was way too fast and the Giants were prepared (SB a few years earlier) and the Bills were overwhelmed by the enormity of the spectacle. True and only 1 turnover each in the Bills/SF game. Both QB's threw over 400 and over 1000 yards in offense that game. SF ended the season 14-2 (lost to the 13-3 Cowboys)....... Won't spoil the SB results for anyone.....?? -

The Giants SB loss I blame 100% on that year there being only a one week gap from the Championship game to the SB and the Bills being euphoric (and full of themselves) over their demolition of the Raiders (was at that game). The Bills were unprepared for the SB and all the media and expectations of the Bills who compounded it by having too much fun that week and Levy not doing a great job supervising them. An extra week and all would have been fine. -

Yep not football........ The Bills defense was lousy. Sure McD could have turned that into a 17-14 game. Buffalo Bills Football baby!!!!!!! -
I know the KC vs. LAR game lived up to the hype and one of the greatest ever. But I remember a game in 1992 that remains my favourite ever. Yes combination of it being the Bills and waxing nostalgic. Oh and a win too.... And look at the players. Was anyone complaining about too much offense back then?

Nothing to do with race....... The problem was the Offense was terrible and put TT in lousy positions and even worse a coaching staff thinking a fifth round rookie was the answer. TT did not have three bad games. He actually won two in a row and played very well vs. TB & Oak. A so so game where everything went wrong vs. NYJ and then the New Orleans game.... But that doesn't fit the narrative. Alex Smith was the #1 darft pick. Yep he was terrible, but that is whaty being the #1 draft pick allows you....... Opportunity.

And here is the ranking of NP's Ints..... https://www.theringer.com/nfl/2018/11/13/18092454/nathan-peterman-buffalo-bills-interception-ranking The article was as I and some others have said a throwaway one. Nothing except for his fans/supporters to point to.

Yep I hated it....... Not hate, but meh...... And of course faith had to be brought up. I blame the Bills not Peterman. Best stat...... Aaron Rodger would need to throw 1,200 straight Ints to match Peterman Int % (heard on TV, but doesn't make sense does it?)
-
He's a man of faith is all you need to know...... Yes still on that kick.
-
Huh.... Again my thread...... Tough luck that the coaching staff were so out of touch in thinking he was ready and providing a terrible offense to play with....
-
Had a whole thread on that!!!!!

Comments about Nathan Peterman being a "good guy"

Which makes him a great guy too, who hasn't gotten a coaching job since. -
WTF with the “feel bad for Peterman” posts?
Billsfan1972 replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sure 50/50 to play Peterman, but it was an unmitigated disaster and highlighted the inability of the staff to assess the QB they drafted through training camp and to that point in the regular season. NP was going to be drafted & was not a reach. McD though and his continual defense of him and blind loyalty was something else to see. I said and am convinced that in the LAC game he wanted NP to keep going back in and if not for the fifth pick would have started th second half. It was only when it was an unmitigated disaster that he was pulled. -

Instead of starting another thread, will start here. I doubt more then 1% hate Peterman. What the other 99% hated was the decision to start him vs. LAC in 2017 and then McD, wanting to double down with him as the QB over and over and over. If he didn't get concussed vs. Indy & they won 13-7 (or whatever the score was), I'm sure he would have started the rest of the year. They then brought in another stiff in McCarron to fight for the interim job in 2018 and again Peterman was named the starter. He just was not good, and that is not his fault. What we hated was McD continually having him as the viable option. Hope he does well, as yes if he is as nice a guy as people say he was then "all the best"....... -
XFL, he'd be perfect as a WWE Babyface. Any other cut at any other position and there'd be barely a peep. Unfortunately for NP, McD and the braintrust at OBD really made this a national joke.
