  1. Isn't that the exact point. No hold & he is where the ball was thrown.
  2. Oh and when Aikman was QB he'd want the exact same call. What rubbish. It was a penalty & Davis played very well, but don't get excited & claimed he did anything special to draw a flag. He ran his rout & was impeded/interfered with.
  3. Keyshawn should stick to catching balls.... He contributed nothing & was actually insulting.
  4. Said the same thing last year, but too many here bought into McD and the hype and thrilled at low scoring games. They are certainly a much better defense then they are showing, but it was more reflective of their opponents & schedule.
  5. My infatuation was that the Bills were the only team in the NFL incapable of doing it for not one or two, but three straight seasons. The Seahawks had a middling offensive team, because they often blew out opponents, made the SB (and won it) and had a QB that won them games. The Bills fans here talked over & over about Defense & the team was a cumulative 25-23 the past three season and very few signature wins or big offensive explosions (now someone post that the Bills made the playoffs). I've had more fun the past three weeks then the prior three years.
  6. And no one afraid of the offense... I'm sure the Seahawks too are very upset with their defense.
  7. How so? The Rams' player didn't even argue. Are we (Bills fans) so used to not getting a call, that when a correct call is made, we call is questionable?🤣
  8. Yes I have & enjoying these three weeks more then the prior 48..... Anyone missing those 17-14 games?
  9. And now 3 in a row.... So who is not enjoying this???😆
  10. Any guesses on how they assess him based on their 350 page manual????😆
  11. You mean the call that changed the entire complexion of the game????😆
  12. I know it is a negative opinion, but nice to see the Defense struggle and the offense bail them out.....😜🤣 Had enough of 17-14 game philosophy we saw the last 3 years.
  13. Not always running at top speed. The point is it should not be a judgement call as it is a penalty due to it being a dangerous play. Being in the box or out should have no bearing.
  14. Horse Collar This is a type of tackle in football in which one player grabs another player’s shoulder pads or jersey from the back before pulling them down to the ground. Due to the increased risk of injury, this tackle results in a 15-yard personal foul in the NFL and NCAA. This penalty is also known as the “Roy Williams Rule” due to the defensive player’s history of injuring opponents through horse collar tackles. But if in the tackle box it is okay to injure????🤣😜
  15. Yes you can.... But the point is it is a dangerous play.... No player shall grab the inside collar of the back or the side of the shoulder pads or jersey, or grab the jersey at the name plate or above, and pull the runner toward the ground. This does not apply to a runner who is in the tackle box or to a quarterback who is in the pocket.
  16. The point is it a penalty because it is a dangerous play. Please tell me the announcers made up that comment? Also thank you Mike Pereira for telling them that final PI call was correct, where again the announcers tried to convince fans it was the wrong call!!!
  17. Yes & no..... This wasn't about the Bills per se, more so as to how we look at teams and that week three is generally the one where more info finally is available and can start separating the Good, Bad & Ugly. The Thursday Night game being the perfect example, as Jax was on the rise and Miami on the decline in most people's eyes. Using Josh Allen, he played well vs. the Jets, but Garoppolo too did week two. Josh owns the Fins, so this week will tell us much more about him. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AlleJo02/gamelog/
  18. Miami was terrible through the first 6-8 weeks last year and since then not too bad. NE & Buffalo were a tough first two opponents and Jax not a great team, but played very hard the first two weeks. Thus the reason for the post. After this week a lot of narratives may change , which includes Buffalo if they lay an egg (or have a convincing win).
  19. Agree it takes awhile, but week three is always when there are significant game changers. This week being a huge week for some teams. Another example is Dallas vs. Seattle, with Dallas lucky to be 1-1 & if either team wins convincingly there will be endless talk. Same with Balt/KC or NE/LV....
  20. Which one's? I know you will say the out to Diggs where the lineman timed his leap well and made a very good play. We see this constantly and most batted passes are not intercepted. The narrative will always be with Allen that an incompletion verifies he is inaccurate. So hitting Diggs or Brown on 40+ yard bombs rate low because they were open and he hit them with perfect throws?😜 Anyone have video of Darnold's week 2 masterpiece that rated higher. Yes PFF is much smarter then us.
  21. Yesterday's Miami win is a perfect example. Two hard played tough losses (vs. NE & Buffalo) and many thought they are a lousy team. They then soundly beat a Jax team that looked pretty good weeks 1 & 2. And now people are saying that Miami looks pretty solid. We see this every year with teams that start 2-0 or 0-2 or seem to exceed expectations and then week three can easily change the narrative. This week you have Buffalo vs. LA and if one team wins convincingly there will be a new story. We have the same thing going to happen with teams such as the Vikings, Eagles, Jets, Giants, Chicago, Arizona, Detroit...... Example is Arizona everyone's darlings. They should kick Detroit's butts, but maybe Detroit is not that bad. Chicago is 2-0, but I expect Atlanta to beat them..... Minnesota looks horrendous, but expect them to play Tennessee tough (and I think they'll win) Week 3 is often one of the most interesting to me, and Buffalo & the Josh Allen love will be right in the middle of it vs. the Rams.
