  1. Find me a worse loss vs. a team the Bills absolutely must beat. Not just that it is the Pats, but that is followed by two much better teams.
  2. Yep that one hurt, but we were prepared in 2017 that it was a Process & the Bills were not a good team, were we not?😜 This is the Patriots and adds more weight as the Bills are ascending & the Patriots are supposed to be falling.
  3. Yes a very good win (and may be as close to a signature win as can be) but unfairly was too early in the season. But like many it maybe being disappointed in performances vs. KC, New England, Baltimore..... Where the scores aren't terrible, but the Bills are seemingly just not trading punches. It's like that championship boxing/UFC match that goes the distance, but the scorecards are one-sided, with the Champion never in serious trouble).
  4. You mean what BB has done vs. the Bills since day one?😜
  5. Nice win vs. teams they played that they had better records then when they played (Dallas & Pitt). Yes they too were national games, but against hugely flawed teams (Dallas Defense, Pitt Offense) that finished 8-8. Frankly though they had a very easy schedule in 2019 & had 5 games vs. teams over .500 NE x 2, Phil, Tenn & Balt. The Tenn game was before Tannehill was the starter & 4 missed fgs. In 2018 they were 1-8 vs. teams over .500 In 2017 they were 2-6
  6. I think we agree..... Apologies..... A low bar is a low bar......😉
  7. And lose and again we go to being BB's whipping boy and Monday will be insufferable from the media. Sorry don't need that.....
  8. Thanks for the math lesson.😋 However this is the Pats and a game they need to win to get the monkey off their back.
  9. An 8-8 team that was horrible on offense. A win yes.... Signature no. The bar is so low, we can have a limbo contest!!!!
  10. Pretty pathetic if you consider a 17-10 win over Pittsburgh a team that had almost no offense (and ended up 8-8) a signature win. Actually the Bills did everything they could to keep Duck in the game.
  11. We're Bills fans. I look forward to every game. The point of the thread is that the last meaningful game the Bills won vs. NE was 2011 (2 other wins included last game of the year and Brady sat & other he was injured). Prior to that opening day 2003 and the 31-0 shellacking..... https://www.footballdb.com/teams/nfl/new-england-patriots/teamvsteam?opp=4 Some lousy losses, so excuse me if I think this is a game for the Bills not to lose (for their psyche and ours😜).
  12. Because the playoff result was not unexpected. Even up 13-0 (16-0), the Bills refused to put the Texans away as was McD's coaching style. And then come OT they aloowed an underneath pass to convert a 3rd & 18 (So Bills). This is NE that has looked terrible the past 3 weeks and have toyed with the Bills for years. It would be a terrible loss imo.
  13. I said the Bills have only 5 wins vs. teams OVER .500 the prior three years & named them. 25-23 2017-2019 and of ther 25 wins, 5 were vs. teams over .500. Is that clear enough?
  14. Again it is just that it is the Patrs and narrative is there. A loss Sunday and yes it will be a national story and a good guffaw for all non-Bills fans. Because that was the Bills modus operandi the past 3 years with McD. score 14-20 points, relax come the third quarter and hope to hang on. Disappointing as that was, it was not unexpected.
  15. Because this really should be a Bills win and after years of being the Pats whipping boy, no Brady and how the Pats have looked since the Raiders game, this is one the Bills need to win (and dominate).
  16. Corrected..... McD specific. Not now that they throw for 300+!!!!!!😜 Did I complain about the anything before the Tennessee game this year?
  17. Very simply, the Bills lose Sunday and I will annoint it as bad a loss as any since McD became coach. Forget the blowouts & playoff losses, the Bills can not afford to lose to the Patriots this week. I can't think of a game that will bother me more then if they get beaten by Belichek again.
  18. The Jets scored 28 points vs. the Broncos (though aided by 3 Ints). Offense has generated 320, 277, 254, 260, 285, 263 & 219 yards (268 avg) in 5 blowout losses and two games withing 9 points. I'd be careful to announce they got their "mojo" back....
  19. I have Tenn x 2, KC, Minn, Atl..... Anyone else? BTW Tennessee was 9-7 both years and Minn 8-7-1.....
  20. There record vs. teams over .500 (8-8 doesn't count) is just as abysmal... I counted 5 between 2017-19.... This year LA Rams.
  21. I like to be entertained too.... I've stated it before, the Bills are my steam since 1972.... Watching them the last three years (2017-19) they have not been a fun team to watch (particularly on Offense). How people continually defend the 30th, 29th & 24th ranked NFL Offense, just amazes me. Add to that one of the easiest 2019 schedules too.
  22. After year's of grinding it out, don't trust the offense, don't make mistakes...... Yep I'd like to see the Bills blow out teams, put up 30+/game..... I'd call that a refreshing change.....😜
  23. And every win has been a shootout.... Allowing 28.67 points/game..... Best win vs. 3-3 Dolphins... Other wins vs. NE, Atl, Minn & Dallas..... I guess their best win is vs. NE?😜 I will too, but the thread is about something else & to include NE is a joke at this point in the season.
  24. Sure, let's call it the closest thing to a signature win..... This year the Bills have games vs. Seattle (atrocious defense), Pitt & let's say 49ers & Arizona.... Want to see at worst 2-2.
  25. Duck Hodges was in because Kyle Rudolph was injured if I remember. Tennessee was not a good team when they played them early in the season and ended the season 9-7..... Wow also anothe rvictory over an 8-8 team (Dallas) is considered a big one. Miami beating NE last year knocking them from a bye in NE is a signature win. Minnesotta was 8-7-1 the year the Bills beat them..... Sure Atl was 3-0 in 2017...... Let's call that the signature win.....
