  1. Damn right. Because those who jump on me & my posts, miss that I am a huge Bills fan & am pointing out issues I see, mostly on coaching, and then a game like this where they do what I have said they should. Oh and a decisive win to boot!!!! Yep I deserve a good pat on the back.....😜
  2. Yes, but vs. NE it very nearly backfired as NE was driving & inside the 20 when they fumbled on the last drive. A much closer win then should have been. Now it is about not being over confident vs. Arizona.
  3. I'm having fun with those who talk about the running game. The Bills are fine, but their strength right now is their passing game & the 18 passes vs. NE, was playing it too close to the vest.
  4. I can't argue with anything you said this week....😉 Great write-up.
  5. Yes tongue is firmly in cheek as this is exactly what I have been talking about & expecting from the Bills.😜 They did what I have been posting & talking about for 2+ years. I am a Bills fan (as per my screen name) and have gone on & on about the need for passing & offense. I have explained I knew nothing about Allen when drafted, outside #7 & that he needed to be a Franchise QB. I wanted trial by fire & see them not baby him. Maybe the best thing that happened in retrospect was that McD just couldn't let go of his Peterman love and named him the starter in 2018, because if it was a capable veteran, maybe Allen would have been held back longer. The Bills played the 32nd ranked pass defense, who had already allowed 2-400 yard passing games against them (and only one < 300). This was exactly what the Bills needed to do & they did it. I said in those threads 350 & 3 TD's minimum & had the bills scoring 38+ (and Seattle in the 30's). This is exactly what they will need to do vs. Arizona too. Sure more running vs. Arizona, and some better protection for Allen too, won't hurt. Today I do give game balls to Dabol & McD, as they coached exactly like I've been wanting them to. And before you you get all prissy, I was the one in the thread asking what you predicted the Bills would go vs. NYJ, NE, Seattle & Arizona, I said 4-0.
  6. I'm thrilled. They did exactly what they needed to do. If there is a concern is that they controlled the game, won the TO battle 4-0 and still a 10 point game. Read all my threads & basically IT SAYS TO DO THIS!!!!!!
  7. Anything less then 28 points by our offense & 350 passing means coaching to blame. Yes & every starting 49'er receiver and TE out.....
  8. That is what you pay coaches to do. You don't think every good offense with a great QB figures these things out? Yes keeping pace with weeks 1-4 was asking a lot. To drop off a cliff and being 4 weeks straight, points to the coaching & game plan. Two of the worst defenses the next two weeks. If the Bills don't throw for 350, then there is an issue.
  9. The Seahawks lowest output was 27 points (btw all scored in the second half). I'd say it is safe to say I expect them to score 30+. Coinversely they've allowed almost 28 points/game. If the Bills don't score 30+, then I have major concerns there.
  10. Maybe I just wasn't nuanced/subtle enough. Just once after a game, I'd like to hear "We knew we needed to score a lot vs. this team and went out there prepared to trade blows". Always however it is defensive soundbites about "containing the other team", because McD doesn't think the offense is good enough or that the Bills are on par with them. Play KC & they play like the scared underdog. They even talked that way after NE....
  11. Other teams & QB's adapty. Stop making excuses. Playing the WORST PASS D in the NFL. Time to ram it down their throats!!!!
  12. Well considering the Seahawks lowest point production this year is 27 & they are averaging 35 ponts a game, any coach would have to think they better score 35+ to win. But I'm sure McD has different plans with his D.....
  13. Better be versus the 31st ranked defense in the NFL. The buffalo doesn't then they are in big trouble.
  14. If the Bills don't score 30+ and put up 350+ in the air it would be an abject failure. The Bills are at home against a team that's defense has given up 434, 370, 461, 310, 248, 360 & 299 passing. Perefect conditions and a 38-35 win.....😁
  15. Again here is just how bad the Seattle pass defense has been..... Seattle has allowed 434 (Ryan), 397 (Newton), 461 (Dak), 312 (Fitz), 248 (Cousins), 360 (Murray), 299 (49'ers JV Offense)..... If McD isn't looking for 350 passing minimum (and Allen isn't exploiting it), that will tell you all you need.
  16. Agree to disagree. They've been very passive the past 4 weeks. But give them credit they're 6-2. Yes the next two games vs. bad D's are litmus tests. Seattle has allowed 434 (Ryan), 397 (Newton), 461 (Dak), 312 (Fitz), 248 (Cousins), 360 (Murray), 299 (49'ers JV Offense)..... If McD isn't looking for 350 passing minimum, that will tell you all you need.
  17. And with Diggs, Brown, Beasley, Moss.... The Bills have the weapons. They're playing maybe the worst defense e in the nfl, and are scared of Wilson vs beating their defense
  18. No he's not, but I want to see the Bills play aggressively vs. the Seahawks. However if the game plays anything like vs. Tenn or KC, I will think it will be because they were passive and scared.
  19. Missing the point (or maybe I should have said after the game), but it always sounds the same that the Bills are scared everytime they play a team like this. Sorry if the nuance is missed, but you watch the Bills in these games and generally they are playing passive in my opinion.
  20. The issue is they then go out & play passive & post-game explain that was their game plan. I am frankly really tired of hearing this over & over. Would be nice to see a win & say afterwards "We went out there with the intention of scoring 30+ points against one of the top offenses in football". Sure but as said, they then go out & play that way.
  21. This has been my concern, particularly when talking about teams "on par" or perceived better then Buffalo. And this goes back to day 1. However now I consider the Bills a good/very good team. When they talk about the game it seems always that the Bills have to limit the opposition and control the flow of the game to minimize their "chances". They always sound passive. I know it is about not offering "bulletin board" material, but then the Bills go out and play "scared" imo. This was so evident last year vs. Baltimore, Pitt & many other games. Last week too vs. NE, they should have put up 30+, but were commited to the ground game & let NE (vastly inferior team) stick around & almost pull it out. Seattle is a perfect example & let's see how it plays out. The Seahawks are on the road, one of the worst defenses in the NFL that has been shredded every week through the air and this week should be absolutely no different. If it plays to script the Bills should be prepared that Seattle will score 30+ & the Bills should game plan and prepare to score 40+. However if they try to play like they did vs. NE, KC or Tenn they will be beaten. I expect the Bills to win, but only if they score 35+.
  22. Listen to the Coaches and they always sound passive wrt the Offense when playing teams like KC & NE. They need to go out & assert themselves and that meas using your best asset Allen. To hear the dropping 7 men crap, means beat them underneath, swing passes, screens..... Sure mix in the run and if it works use it, but don't over do it. Allen's legs too. Vs. Seattle the plan should be simple..... We're going top outscore them by putting 42 up. My concern is they will think outscoring them is TOP and that they can win 24-21.
  23. No the Bills played a very weak schedule last year. I just don't think the coaching staff is as smart as you do. My concern is and repeated over rand over is they do t want to assert themselves for 4 quarters on offense and continually seem to scheme to keep the score close as opposed to "we're scoring 40, try and stop us".
  24. But were they great players when the defense was ranked second in the league? Again it's a case of sucking and blowing at the same time .
  25. I'll agree a good play works, a bad play doesn't and that is pretty much all we see. I pointed out a series above that put the Bills in a hole & NE immediately scored & tied the game. Squeaking by NE sorry says to me there were not enough good palys called on offense & the defense allowed too many yards & plays to NE. Overall I'd say the Defense's playcalling has been suspect, especially on 3rd down. A perfect example was the 3rd & 10 where Burkhead (?) got a first down on a run. The Bills are 30th (interesting is Tennessee is the worst & Carolina allowed NO to make like 14 of 16 vs. them) and the Bills have played NYJ twice.... https://www.espn.com/nfl/stats/team/_/view/defense/stat/downs/table/miscellaneous/sort/thirdDownConvPct/dir/asc
