Like you I'm not panicked at all and expect the next three games won't tell us a lot either, but you are bang on. Still receivers with minimal separation, only 5 targets to Shakir & Coleman vs. The Jets and sleepwalked after the first possession vs. the Ravens (at home) until the 4th, with nothing downfield. Yep expect way more from the offense then what they have shown for 7 of 8 quarters.

I don't go deep into analysis and just what my eyes see and what the boxscore then says. Allen's 40-yard run better then any pass as nothing but open field when he got past the rush. The issue as said above is we as fans keep trying to push the everyone eats narrative, but we need a difference maker or someone who has separation. Shakir finds pockets off the line and on scramble drills. Coleman, we have fingers crossed, Kincaid we want the next step and Palmer looks to be a decent pickup. But as said only two targets to Shakir & three to Coleman says very little.

The issue is (and not a bad one) that Buffalo is very, very good and as fans we want to see more. The were a "yawn" game, as we too expect the next three.... The defense I knew would step up against a bad team (don't let their play vs. Pitt make you think otherwise with Justin Fields as the QB). The offense didn't seem overly precise and efficient and the Jets made plays and often the receivers looked blanketed. The Jets also had penalties and were undisciplined. Sorry any game Josh throws for <200 is bothersome to me, as 250 in his sleep should be the floor. We have this everyone eats mantra, but if Shakir is our #1 receiver and has two targets and Coleman only three that to me is not enough.

Deja vu all over again. As expected an inferior team we don't need to do a lot and the defense looks stout. My concern with Brady & the Bills in general is that they (mostly the coaching staff) are puffing their chests that they are perfectly fine. Two long runs (Allen & Cook) and otherwise pretty predictable. Didn't like many of the runs and pass plays until later in the game. Also a few drops and I thought it was a little sloppy for the most part. I'm always worried about complacency with this team.

Did the Bills win, or di the Ravens lose?

Like the Bills have multiple times to KC. Why don't we go back to all those threads and rehash those games.🤣😉 -
Very simply as Allen fans we think he is better and you can't convince me otherwise. Most important is that come the end of the year if they are in the MVP running, it won't be like last year's Lamar Fanboys who all they did was point at the Ravens beating the Bills as the definitive reason Lamar should have won the award. I hope no Bills fan points at this game as proof positive and the reason Allen should win the award (if it come down to them two again).

You at the minimum lineup like your going for it and try to draw Buffalo Offside is usually the play.

Baltimore's defense was good, though they allowed 41 points, they had pressure continually, held Josh's running in check, little separation so a lot of passes short. 250 passing yards allowed and 22 points in the 4th quarter sort of mars that after the first Buffalo drive the Bills had 12 points over the next 6 possessions, with three punts. Meanwhile Buffalo made maybe 4 plays on defense the entire game (Oliver's sack and forced fumble and Bosa's fumble & 15 yard loss the big ones). Otherwise few & far between. And here we go, week two vs. Jets @ home and I expect the usual Bills defense looking much better against a much inferior opponent. This is an old story. -

So happy he did!!!! Last thing I want to see is the ball in the opposing QB's hand at the end of a game with the Bills defense. -

I'm back!!!! The issue is and I'm really almost at the point of no longer getting into debates and arguing, is that unless the Ravens put up 40+/wk and their efficiency is so crazy good all year, that yes the defense is awful. We've had this debate for years about McD's defense that can be physically manhandled and relys on getting breaks (or making a big play) to win. Yesterday was the perfect example with the Henry fumble, another 15 yard loss on a fumble and Oliver's Lamar sack. And let's not talk about the putrid play calling on offense after the first drive and through three quarters. -
Yes the D needs to be well rested. Grind out the clock is what McD wants.
-
It's always what's best for the defence, and no huddle would hurt them & not something McD would sign off on.
-
Can hardly wait 'til McD starts touting the running game and complimentary football and further sabotages Allen. I'm happy to move on from Diggs, but not a high powered passing offense.

We'll never get an answer, but as a good coach he can fall on the sword and say it was me and I thought the best course was not allowing a Hill return and wanting to protect against a 30 yard reception on first down. I wish I could have a chance to do it again as we would do things differently. Is that so hard?
