Another huge draft miss for a QB by the Bills. Yeah, I love T White and he was a great pick, but QB is far and above the most important position in football. I have a feeling this years QB class will be better than next year. I'm not sold on any current college QB to be a slam dunk franchise QB

I don't know, TT has had some pretty good receivers previously. Remember when we had Sammy, the biggest complaint was TT couldn't get him the ball? I think getting another decent WR via trade is only going to marginally help the problem. I'd maybe consider giving up a 4th or 5th rounder to try and push this team for a playoff spot this year, but no way anything higher than that. We need to get the run game going, which will help open the pass like we've done the past few years. Still haven't heard a good reason why a guy would come in and change the blocking scheme for the #1 rushing team two years running!

The QB needs to make the WR better and TT doesn't. He's a guy you can win with, but you have to be able to run the ball effectively to have success which we were able to do at the highest level the past 2 years. If you recall the offense was top 10 scoring in the league, it was the defense that was the problem. There's no convincing me that it wasn't a huge mistake to change the blocking scheme in the run game. The O-line is trying to learn zone blocking and are struggling. No run game doesn't help open up the pass. I don't want to hear about defenses stacking the box cause they've been doing that against TT from day one. It's mind boggling how an NFL coach would change to something that was #1 in the league two straight years. Rico was a bad hire because they knew what type of offense he runs.

I've been asking this question all year. I don't care about the defenses we've played or the fact we don't have the deep threat. Watkins missed games and/or wasn't near 100% in many others and we still ran the ball effectively. There's no excuse changing a scheme that's been #1 in league two straight years, period! We essentially have the same offensive players minus WR. Richie pulling was money in that scheme and his strength. In 4 games, I think he's pulled maybe 3 times?

If Boldin calls the Bills begging to come back, I wouldn't take him. He made his decision and that ship has sailed. Not to mention after he quit our team he says he'd consider playing for the Pats. Would not set a good example if he wanted to come back to open the door again for him. Move on

The move did exactly what McD and Beane have preached since day one. They're looking to build a team with focus on both short and long term. Gaines has been as good or better than T White, minus getting a few minor injuries. If they get a productive starter from the 2nd round pick, the trade would be a steal for us, especially knowing Sammy would have commanded a huge contract that they wouldn't have been willing to pay.

You're out of touch and not paying attention if you think McD would want a guy like OBJ and just as ridiculous to think the Giants would get rid of him and pick up Dareus' salary.

If not for him, this team could easily be 2-2 or even 1-3. The D has given this offense some great field position and they need to start taking better advantage of capitalizing off them. Can't keep relying on 50 + yard FG's every week.

Tolbert is not serviceable as a #2 back. I think there's a roll for him on this team, but much more limited than what he's currently doing. A RB draw should never involve this guy. Also disagree on running game. Last years team would of put up 200 on ATL. It's not where it should be, and it blows my mind a guy is able to come in and change a scheme that's been #1 in the league two straight years. I thought Dareus showed some guts today. He was clearly hurt and stayed in the game. In this defense, he's just another guy but he eats up double teams and feel he'll be better (and more of a factor) when healthy. Not saying he's worth what we're paying him, but I give him credit for battling today. Go Bills!!!

Yup, said the same thing when they ran that play. Tolbert is fine for some of those quick hits up the middle, but he shouldn't be getting the ball more than 4-5 times a game. In no way should he ever be part of a draw play. Seeing that JWill is gone, would like to see Banyard get some of those opportunities.

This! Imperative that we get the run game going. This new blocking scheme just doesn't seem to fit, and it's so frustrating they would change up something that they've been the best in the league in. If have another poor showing running the ball, it's time to panic. Oh, and a win would be nice! 😀

If we struggle to run against ATL then I'd say it's panic mode. Did everyone notice the room McCoy had to run when Richie pulled last game? He got called for a bogus holding but would love to see more of that. #1 rushing team 2 years in a row, I blame McD just as much as Rico for letting a coach change a blocking scheme that's been our bread and butter

I think Walt Powell will be a nice addition to the WR group when he gets back from suspension. Would rather use that open spot to add another DB for depth, we're low numbers wise there

Totally agree, Humber has been all over the field making tackles and I think he's been better than Preston Brown. Another nice surprise on the defense and the guy deserves some recognition for what he's done in the first 3 games. Hope he continues to play at a high level!

Wasn't that impressed, but he is a rookie that had to line up against one of the best pass rushers in the league (albeit Von moved around and destroyed Mills as well). If that game was on the road with crowd noise, I think it would of been much worse.

I'm still shocked how much Tolbert gets the ball. He was out there to start drives! Sure seems Shady has been coming out a lot. Often times one play and out. Wish they would give Banyard some chances, but apparently he's not contributing much on ST to be active on game day.

This is what I was thinking too. He caught it, turned and took two steps. The ball was firmly in his possession when he broke the plane. It's a TD to me and should of been challenged. Not sure I agree, it could only be ruled a touchback if it's ruled a catch and the ball was fumbled before getting into the end zone. I've watched this play several times, and it's clear he has full possession when the ball touches the white line.

Was everyone else screaming for this play to be challenged? A clear TD, Tolbert had total possession when the call broke the plane and somehow the Bills don't challenge. They wind up getting a bit lucky on the next play with the tipped ball right into Holmes hands. Anyway, haven't seen this discussed since it didn't cost us, but this could of been a game changing decision not to challenge. Makes me a bit nervous about their challenge process moving forward.

Yeah, and some how fans voted T White as player of the game on the JMS? Please, if anyone thinks T White was better than Hauschka or Gaines, I'd love to hear the reasoning behind that. I'm a big T White fan, but he gave up some big plays in first half. He bounced back nicely in 2nd half which was impressive, but at least 2 guys played far superior games.

Yeah gotta hand it to the guy, he's been a force on the field ever since he came here. I fully admit I wasn't expecting much from him this year, he is getting up there in age and thought perhaps the Rex scheme just fit him really well, but very happy to be wrong. And he's still playing special teams!!

You obviously don't pay attention to other teams around the league then because this is very common for past players to be on the sideline. They're a big part of the community, support the team, and I believe Jim is actually a team employee.

He'll be fine, I really like the kid and it's only 3 games. He's going to make some big plays for a lot of years with this team
