  1. The Bills were the last team to beat the Pats.
  2. Pats actually have an extra day to prepare as well being a Monday night game.
  3. @Pats: Upset WIN here for the Bills 30-24 (Assuming the refs don't screw us) @Chiefs: LOSS 23-17 (Tough place to play on road) Texans: Bills WIN 34-20 @Eagles: Bills WIN 27-24 @Redskins: Bills make us sweat out the wildcard hopes and lay an egg losing 24-14 Dallas: Bills WIN 28-17 (Big bounce back from previous week, and the BOYS have nothing to play for) JETS: Win and you're in for Bills. They handle the Jets in a close one and WIN 24-23 10-6, playoff bound after 15 painful years. GO BILLS!!!!
  4. Don't have a good feeling about this one simply because I don't have much faith in our defense right now. Jets 27 Bills 20. Hope they prove me wrong!
  5. Whaley is the least of our problems. Seriously, WGAS if he trips over his words. The guy has been doing a great job and anyone who thinks different doesn't have a clue. We didn't have a first round pick this year and have offensive and defensive rookie of the year candidates. What else do you want!?!?
  6. The media likes to make a big deal about all this and create headlines. Honestly, WHO CARES!!! Most of it is taken out of context or magnified to the extreme. This is who Rex is and seems like the media will jump on any little thing he says or does. The guy is who he is, and in his mind is just having fun. I really don't think he means any harm and is not a bad guy. What we should be concerned about is if he can coach. Honestly, I have my doubts. He has a lot to prove to me. I think Roman is a really good coach and would perhaps be a better fit as our coach with a solid D coordinator that would run a less complicated D suited to our talent. But just because a guy has a personality, speaks his mind, etc. doesn't mean a thing. All I care about is that he gives our team the best chance to win and that remains to be seen.
  7. Anyone who thinks the D did their job today because they only gave up 17 is kidding themselves. They were very fortunate it wasn't a lot more and were getting gashed all day. Mario was a complete non factor. Barely noticed Dareus and Hughes finally made some big plays. This is supposed to be a dominant D and is average at best. No sustained QB pressure and run D is weak. I don't think the players are buying into the scheme. I'm also so sick of how confused they look and not being ready or in place before the snap. Schwartz's D was much better suited for them
  8. Whaley is not the problem. Say what you will, but this is the most talented roster we've had in years because of the moves he's made. It's certainly not his fault regarding injuries and not a single GM in the league hits on every player, but Whaley has way more hits than misses. I'm holding out hope Rex can figure things out but I have serious doubts. Fire Whaley, after 7 games into the year!?!? That's just crazy talk.
  9. #2 and it's not even close. Pats Super Bowl is my worst nightmare. I fully admit my hatred for them is unhealthy!
  10. Yeah, another guy with character issues, just what this team needs!
  11. I'll believe it when I see it, cause it sure seems this guy can do no wrong. Hate to say it but wouldn't be surprised if he plays well for another solid 5+ years barring injury.
  12. He's 22 years old, under enormous pressure, is a bit immature and frustrated by injuries and lack of targets. He should stay off social media, but people do say some harsh and way over the top things to professional athletes. IGNORE THEM SAMMY! They don't speak for the majority and try to goat a response. Regardless of the millions these guys make, they are human and young. Not condoning what Sammy said, but I give the guy a pass and it's unfortunate their are so many ignorant people in this world.
  13. Eh, I've seen much worse not get called so this isn't a huge deal to me. There was a hold on Dareus that was MUCH worse than this on another play and didn't get called. Dareus was running toward the play and the Jags O-lineman literally grabbed a fist full of the back of his jersey and held onto it. It was the most obvious hold you'll ever see and didn't get called.
  14. I think I dislike MIKE CAREY as much as Brady and Bilicheck. Blows my mind some of the %#^* that comes out of his mouth. So, who knows this refs name on the PI call?!?!
  15. Anyone know the refs name that made the call? Wondering if he's done any other Bills games this year.
  16. Even if uncatchable I still thought it would be illegal contact or something, but I don't know what the rule is for this exactly. The way the game is being called I guess I just always look for a flag after a big play. Refs play way too much a factor in games anymore. Would love for the NFL to change PI calls to the 15 yard penalty like in College.
  17. Kyle Williams on D. If I had to choose one on O I'd say Eric Wood. Get over Freddie J already. I love the guy, but Karlos (and you can't predict injuries) made him expendable. Add in age, salary and the fact he doesn't play special teams and the move made sense.
  18. I haven't really heard much about this, but on Graham's pick 6 did anyone think that play would be called back for PI? Not sure who it was, but it looked like one of our DB's knocked down one of the Jags receivers in the middle of his route. I kept looking for a flag but it never came and wasn't mentioned on the broadcast. Just seeing if anyone else thought this.
  19. TIME FOR CONCERN: Tyrod, Karlos, Sammy, Percy, Henderson, Kyle and Aaron Williams ALL OUT of this game. I see this as a pivotal game if we're going to make the playoffs. They need to find a way to get this one, go 4-3 into the bye and get healthy. Healthy, we win this one easy but with all the injuries I think it's a coin flip. Bills 23 Jags 20
  20. RELAX PEOPLE!!! The record of the teams they lost to is 13-3. Sure, the Giants game still stings a bit, but the schedule is much better moving forward. The front four aren't getting pressure like they have in the past...agreed! They will make changes and it will get better. But the real problem is this team can't stay healthy, and they are losing KEY players that would affect any team. This is not an excuse, it is fact. Sure, every team (except Cincy) is dealing with injuries, but not to the magnitude of the Bills. Get Tyrod, Sammy, Percy and Karlos back and our offense will score, have established drives, avoid the multiple 3 and outs, better field position....ALL of which will have a huge affect on D. GO BILLS!!!
  21. Really glad to see this post because I've been thinking the same thing. I remember Woods having a sure TD earlier in the year and slipping on his break in the end zone. Sammy seems to slip a lot and that seemed to be the case in the same end zone with his latest injury. Have seen Clay slip a few times. Anyway, the turf at the Ralph seems terrible. Gotta think players have mentioned it. Terry certainly can afford to replace it.
  22. Rex seems OK with how the D is playing, which scares me. He's also full of excuses. I like Rex the guy, but to this point his coaching has been subpar. Regardless of all the injuries, it's clear this team is ill prepared, lacks discipline and has no identity.
  23. Unless you're the New England Patriots, cause they sure make it look easy. Is anyone going to beat this team? Any other division, the Bills make the playoffs at least 3-4 times since the Brady era. I'm a die hard football and Bills fan but a guy can only take so much. Seriously starting to despise the NFL because of this team, it's just not fun anymore. As long as Brady and Belichick are there, what's the point? Sadly I think we have a good 5 years left of this crap.
  24. 11. Special teams is the worst it's been in years. As much as I hate taking an extra roster spot with Gay, it was nice to know just about every kickoff would start at the 20. We have no return threat. They need to move on from Goodwin, guy just can't stay healthy.
  25. This is going to be an interesting game. Everything points to Cincy winning, but I think with a little luck we can pull out a close one: 1. I'm guessing EJ, Sammy and Shady are on the field. I'm confident in EJ and excited to see how he does, but think he'll be more than serviceable. Would take a healthy EJ any day over a limited Taylor. Having Sammy and Shady back would be a huge boost to the offense. Look for Robert Woods to make some big plays in this one. 2. We'll need to win the turnover battle to have any shot at all. 3. The safeties will be key against Cincy offense. I don't have much confidence in Duke but we're going to need him to really step up in this one. Williams a huge loss, especially this game. 4. Can we make a special teams play? The return game has been below average so far. Not expecting any big plays here, but we'll need to limit penalties and take care of the ball. Will be interesting to see how Kid Rock does on kick offs and if that plays a factor at all. The Ralph should be rocking and the 12th man should be good for a few Cincy penalties. Go Bills!!!
