  1. Pretty sad showing by Niner fans, especially for a national game early in the season. They certainly did nothing to help their team. Place was half empty....WTF!?!?
  2. I look at in quarters. Basically for the next three quarters they need to go 3-1 twice and 2-2 once to get 10 wins. That will just give us a chance to get in. It's going to be tough, the schedule isn't easy. This upcoming quarter of games almost seems like 3-1 is a must. I like our team, but think 9-7 or 8-8 is more realistic.
  3. Complete garbage and bias because of Rex's reputation, which IMO is blown way out of proportion. The guy speaks his mind and yes he's said some dumb things, but it's amazing to see (now that he's our coach and we follow him much closer) how the media will take most of what he says out of context and blow it up into something it's not. How many times do people express how they wish people in the public eye would speak their minds more instead of giving the PC/company line answers. Well, we have someone who isn't fake and says what he feels and people blast him for it. I guess the NFL is saying it's OK for a team to run through the opposing teams drills in warm ups. The PATS are a CLASSLESS organization. And the Bills players even asked them not to do it again.
  4. Gillislee hasn't impressed you? Not sure how you come to that conclusion, just about every time he touches the ball he's hitting the hole hard and getting chunk yards. I'm as comfortable with him in there as I am Shady. Sure, Shady can make 3-4 guys miss and gain 10 yards when nothing was there, but he'll also take a 5 yard loss trying to hit the home run instead of taking a few yard gain. Gillislee runs north/south and has done nothing but impress. I'd like to see him more involved and think that's going to happen with the OC change
  5. Great interview, thanks for sharing. I can see why Richie and Rex get along so well, they both speak their mind.
  6. I didn't give the Bills much of a chance, but I also thought Jimmy G would be playing. As soon as I heard Brissett was the starter then I thought we had a shot.
  7. Yeah I like our O-line. When healthy we also have four very capable tackles in Glenn, Mills, Kounjio and Henderson
  8. Yep, same as any press conference when he loses. Same stupid look on his face, same regurgitated crap that spews out of his mouth how they didn't play well enough in any phase, didn't coach well enough, blah blah.
  9. This will be a tough road game for sure. 3 straight wins, confidence, momentum and a home crowd that will be loud. If they win, it'll be the most impressive of the year IMO.
  10. Even though Clay hasn't been involved in the offense much, just having him out there forces defenses to pay attention to him. Without Clay there is no threat at TE. Clay will break out and they will get him more involved. Let's hope it starts today.
  11. If this game was in Buffalo I'd give them a chance, regardless if Sammy was playing or not. But now with Sammy and Salas out again (and whoever else), I just don't see it happening at Foxboro. Sure, there's always the chance the Pats have an off day (albeit slight chance) and we get some cheap points off bad turnovers and hang on, but I'd give the Bills about a 10% chance to come out with a win. No reason to believe we won't be outcoached and out schemed. I also think the Pats have one of the best defenses in the league this year and will mix it up enough on offense to keep us off balance and put up AT LEAST 24 points. Pats 27 Bills 10 REALLY hope I'm wrong, but hope is not a recipe for victory. Unfortunately I'm not sure we can dig ourselves out of 1-3 (and especially 0-3 in AFC) which has us looking at another disappointing year.
  12. Aren't they 78-0 at home when leading at half time? That's pretty insane. What's also crazy (and not saying they're cheating here cause not sure how it would be possible) is their ability to win the coin toss. I want to say the win the toss something like 80% of the time which is virtually impossible to do. Just makes you wonder. Again, the headset thing is nothing new, but I'm much more concerned this time around with having a new coordinator in place who's relying on calling plays from up top. Shut down his headset and he's pretty much useless
  13. I think it's pretty much a given that we will have headset issues at Foxboro. Is anyone as concerned about this as I am now that A Lynn will be calling plays from up top? You have to believe we're smart enough to prepare for this, but it could still play a fActor in the game. I know the NFL controls game communication, but you can't tell me teams (especial the Pats) don't have ways to disrupt radio waves. Go Bills!
  14. 1. Kudos to A Lynn, thought he mixed it up well and plays weren't as predictable as the first two games. LOVED the quick run hits, we seemed to hit the hole hard opposed to the long developing runs that were getting stuffed behind line of scrimmage. Also really liked how we actually tried adding to our lead before half time with a little over a minute left. We didn't score, but they were aggressive and thought that said a lot about Lynn. 2. Haven't seen this discussed much, but COLTON SCHMIDT may have had the worst day I've ever seen from a punter. Pretty sure he had at least 3 punts under 30 yards and in a closer game that would of cost us. He's been good up until this point, but he was so bad today I've lost some confidence in him. 3. Great overall D performance. Kyle and A Willaims had their best games, gotta think their lack of playing time in camp/pre-season affected them but hopefully they're now hitting their stride. 4. Would love to hear an explanation why we called time out when AZ was a about to get a delay of game. That was brutal. 5. I'm not just saying this because we won, but thought overall refs did a nice job. They let them play and didn't call as much of the ticky tack b.s. We're on to New England!
  15. I was screaming at the tv for them to take the points, just had a vision of getting stuffed on a 4th as our short yardage offense hasn't been good. Get on the board first and get a little momentum as opposed to killing it.
  16. How do you figure? Without that stupid penalty we get the ball back and keep momentum. And who knows, maybe we even add to the lead and go up by 20-24. Sure we still could of stopped them, but you give so many chances to a high power offense and they are going to capitalize regardless how good the D is playing. Not sure how you see that any different.
  17. Was glad to see them take the points. Not getting anything there would of been deflating.
  18. Come on Colton! 2 horrible punts. We need EVERYONE!
  19. 1. Sick of all the injuries. Sure, all teams have them but are they to the extent of ours YEAR AFTER YEAR? I have to think they aren't doing something right. Just watch, by week 10 we'll have starters we've never heard of. 2. Chances Bills win this game are slim. We'll need turnovers, sustained drives on O, a little luck and a few key calls to go our way. Not counting them out all together, and even though we pretty much know their chances to win aren't great, were still gonna be pissed if they lose. 3. Can we keep Duke Williams off the field today? 4. Cards game plan should be easy. Stack the box and let Tyrod beat you in the passing game. Going to be tough without Sammy and Salas. Clay and Shady need to factor into passing game. 5. This game is our season to have any chance at all. The team needs confidence and a win today gives them just that going into NE next week. If we lose, I don't think we have any chance next week and 0-4 is way too big a hole.
  20. All depends how bad Tyrod and the offense looks. Doesn't help that Cardale has been dealing with a shoulder injury. If the season is over by week 10 and Tyrod hasn't improved, I'd be all for getting Cardale some experience and see how he does. We already know what we have with EJ.
  21. No way, Brady is a product of the system, plug and play. If he gets drafted by any other team, he's at the level (at best) of a guy like Carson Palmer.
  22. Think you might be slighting Carolina and Denver here.
