  1. Phins look sharp of Bills D did a poor job. Big runs right up the gut and no pressure on 3rd and longs
  2. I hate 3 man rushes. Defense needs to get pressure on Tanny. Can't afford 8 minute drives in this heat.
  3. We've also been playing without our best defensive player and 1st and 2nd round draft picks. Dareus makes a huge difference and they've been getting it done (so far) without him, but think we'll really need him to compete against better offenses/qb's.
  4. With all the talk about Dez Lewis in training camp, definitely not an encouraging sign that they don't even see enough value to activate him. We are down our top 3 WR's!
  5. Disagree, nobody plans on their top three WR's getting hurt. Most teams would be in trouble. We have won 4 in a row as well with 2 of top 3 at the position being out. Losing Woods is just going to make it that much tougher.
  6. Everyone thinks we're fine on defense, but make no mistake we miss those guys and it will catch up to them not having them out there. The Rams and 49ers, neither of which are anything close to high powered offenses, have moved the ball fairly well on our defense. The offense has been playing better and staying on the field which has helped our defense tremendously. I just think we need to get Darius and Shaq back out there ASAP because they will make a huge difference when we play better offensives and could affect the game outcome. It's going to take these guys 2-3 games to get in game shape as well, so we really need them out there sooner than later with tough schedule upcoming.
  7. They have 1 key player out. If we were healthy aside from, say Watkins or Darius, then that's something you should be able to overcome. We are going to be missing several key players with depth guys behind them hurt as well.
  8. Miracle is an exaggeration, just so frustrating that the injuries are happening to key playmakers, two of which happened in practice. We didn't start out with the most talented WR group to begin with and very little depth behind Watkins and Woods. I'd be happy to at least have Salas at this point! At some point something has to give and we can't be surprised if we lose to Miami who's fairly healthy and coming off a big win. If the Bills can win this one, I'd have to say it'll be their most impressive one yet.
  9. Well, they were at home playing the Bears. They're also a passing team and had Rodgers and all his receivers healthy.
  10. So our best offensive play and best defensive player are out (potentially several weeks) because they tweaked hammy's in practice. Practice!?!? Practice!?!?! This isn't training camp we're talking about. WTF is going on over there? Fire the entire strength and conditioning staff!!!
  11. Yeah, great draft! Shaq Lawson and Reggie Ragland will be studs! Oh wait, they're both hurt. Well we still got our best Defensive player Marcel. Nah, forget about him too, he won't play at least half the year. Well at least we got two studs on the offensive side of the ball, Watkins and Shady will carry us. Uh, nope they're down too. Looks like Woods and Salas will have to pick us up....errr, sorry but they're injured as well. And on, and on, and on. Damn, Gragg looks pretty good, will provide some nice TE depth...ooops. I mean, yeah injuries happen to every team but seriously!?!? I mean can't Reggie Bush pull a hammy? Why are all our best players getting hurt, and these aren't just one week injuries either. At my wits end with this. Can someone convince me how we are going to beat the Dolphins? It's a crucial game, but it comes a point where you just can't replace your top playmakers on both sides of the ball. Sure, we've had guys step up BIG TIME, but no Shady, Darius again, Woods possibly out. Yeah Shaw will play but the guys still a rookie with 3 NFL practices under his belt. It'll be a miracle if they can find a way to win Sunday.
  12. He had a tight hammy and they're being very cautious with him, but sounds like he'll be fine and expect to see him out there against the Phins. Because it's Shady, the whole thing is being blown out of proportion
  13. The Bills have to lead the league with negative plays on offense
  14. Time for the defense to step up
  15. Penalties on offense are freaking ridiculous
  16. Yeah it was the AZ game, and was possibly the worst game I've ever seen from a punter. Pretty sure he had three punts that didn't exceed 30 yards and definitely would of cost us if the game was close. The Rams game he was an absolute stud and was part of the reason we won. So yeah, last year he was consistently good, but he must of eaten too many chicken wings before that AZ game or something cause that was concerning.
  17. Great idea, let's take all the energy out of the stadium and just be quiet. Sorry, but this isn't China, and it's a pretty ridiculous thought. Sure it may work there, but this is American football and there is such thing as a home field advantage where fans scream their head off while the opposing team has the ball to disrupt their focus and communication, not to mention pumping the defense up at the same time.
  18. Anyone know who stepped on his foot in practice and if he wouldn't have been put on IR if that didn't happen? Seems like that incident played a factor in him being on IR.
  19. If he hasn't been our best defensive player, he's been at the top. If he keeps playing like this it could be one of his best years. I've been very impressed with him, and will also admit I wasn't sure he had much left. He's also leading by example. If we make the playoffs this year, I'll be very happy for him and Wood who both deserve to play post season football.
  20. Yeah, the way I look at it, if the Bills don't overlook them, take the same mentality and preparation they have for the past 3 weeks, play smart & execute, they should win. But it's far from a gimmie and they'll have to play well to win. If they lose a little bit of hunger and focus, they stand a chance to lose. Just don't think we're good enough (or have the QB that can lead us from a 10+ point deficit) to have a subpar performance and expect to pull out the W. Hopefully they have this mindset.
  21. The Bills SHOULD win this game, but there is plenty to be concerned about. SF is desperate, they play fast (won't be able to substitute much on D) they have extra time to get ready/heal up from playing Thursday, and we don't know who their QB will be but both are threats in the run game. It won't be easy, just hoping the home crowd will help them pull this one out.
  22. Yeah it could of been better, but I also think they realized how important it was to at least get three points going into the half and they accomplished that. To me the bigger issue was when they had the ball with a little over 4 minutes to go. I believe there was an injury so the clock stopped, and then re-started with the full 35 seconds on the play clock. We snapped the ball with like 30 seconds left. Why they wouldn't take the play clock down while winning late in the 4th made no sense to me.
  23. Yeah well deserved to give the guy props because he's gone unnoticed and been playing great ball. I think you could make the case he's playing as good or better than Richie.
  24. This is the view of everyone, but this is the NFL and you never know week to week what's going to happen. I'd be surprised if we win the next two because things just don't go according to plan like this. This isn't college ball. I think we are 4-3 going into the Pats game and give us a decent chance to beat them again. Anyway, you don't just stack up automatic wins and feel this is more realistic.
  25. I don't know, so far it's a mixed bag for me but in defense of Tyrod I'll point out the positives: 1. He made clutch plays when needed, plain and simple. The TD pass to Hunter was huge, he had nobody open and bought enough time to make a really nice play for a TD. The TD to Goodwin was the same deal. Amazing clutch play and great throw while under a lot of pressure. The run on 3rd and 18 is just as good as a long pass play. Without these plays, we don't win the game. 2. I'll give him a bit of a pass on the first two games with the O-Coordinator change. Play calling under Roman was terrible and Tyrod was rushing to get plays off because they were coming in late and wasn't given much freedom to change plays at the line of scrimmage. 3. No Watkins, no Salas. Missing Watkins is huge, changes the way defenses play us. I think you can make a case for us having one of the weaker WR's in the league. At best, we are avaerage at the position without Sammy. 4. Would you rather have a guy throw for 250 and have 2 picks, or a guy throw for 150-200, run for 50 and zero picks? Bottom line, turnovers are huge and he limits them. I'm not saying he's the franchise guy and worth a huge contract, but willing to let the full season play out. There's a lot of football to be played, so to me the jury is still out. I have hope, but not sold yet by any means.
