  1. I listen to Murph and Donald a good amount and think both do a good job. Don't always agree with them but for the most part think they have decent interviews and are pretty fair. Of course they're going to be a little bias, just as most other guys who cover one team and are around the same organization every day.
  2. I would of taken a 3rd rounder for him if it was offered seeing he's only got 8 games left with us. Oh wait, that's what good teams do.
  3. We're 8 games in and the D has had very poor showings in 3 of them. I don't care if one was against Brady and the Pats, you give up 41 points at home and that's just bad. 2 of the bad games the secondary was terrible and one game was awful run D. So, it's a mixed bag so far, but you can't argue they have been inconsistent. They seem to either be really good and perform like a top 5 D or plain awful and look like one of the worst in the league. Guess that makes them just average, and for all the supposed genius D minds we have it's just not good enough.
  4. Seattle just isn't that good this year, especially since Wilson is less than 100%. IF we were healthy, I think we win this game 6-7 out of 10. BUT, with how depleted we are at WR and if McCoy isn't at least 90%, it's going to be tough, especially on the road.
  5. Very interesting news. Seems like another poor move by the Browns who need to build through the draft. A 3rd rounder is a potential day one starter that can be locked up for 4+ years on low rookie salary hit. This year is over for this team, so they essentially trade a 3rd rounder for the rights to sign this guy to a huge contract. Crazy to me. The only positive I see is perhaps it will cost the Pats a Super Bowl this year, but somehow I doubt it.
  6. Wow, really!?!? EJ has had his opportunities, the guy flat out sucks. TT is a much better option. If we are out of playoff contention, I'd like to see Cardale get a chance and see what he can do.
  7. Losing to the Jets and Dolphins was essentially the season. Now we need to win 6 of 8 to even have a sniff at playoffs and I just don't see that happening. 8-8 here we come!
  8. Really wanted the Bills to take Prescott and was pissed when the Boys snagged him. Would love to know if they had him ahead of Cardale on their board. I didn't expect Dak to be this good though, he's been very impressive. Playing like a veteran franchise guy. No way they should put Romo in there after the way he's played.
  9. Not only isn't he the lock down corner we thought he was, he's almost a liability at this point. I don't think he cares either. He knows he's going to get a nice fat contract next year and it likely won't be the Bills.
  10. I'm not making any excuses for Clay as he's had his share of drops, but there have been times when he's been wide open and the ball isn't thrown his way. I'm also sure defenses have been able to focus more on stopping him with our WR core completely depleted. Lastly, he's been playing hurt all year.
  11. Any chance there was some gamesmanship on Rex's part here? He knows the Pats study up on every player on active roster and game plan for them. I doubt it, but you never know.
  12. Really need him, hopefully he can shake off the rust. I wouldn't be surprised if the Pats double him less than normal given the fact he's been out so long and coming off injury. Will be interesting to see what happens and what kind of impact he has in his first game back. On another note, I haven't heard any updates on Woods but he's the other critical piece for us to have a chance to win.
  13. Sorry, but no teams plan on their top 4 WR's getting hurt all at once, not to mention one of their draft picks being on IR. Because of Whaley and Co we have been able to sustain injuries to several other key players on the team and still have a winning record. You can't be deep at every position, it's just not feasible. Unfortunately WR was one of the few thin positions and we've been decimated with injuries, and long term one's. Name me a team out there that has depth to step in at every single position where they could sustain 4+ key injuries?
  14. Not sure when Gronk got hurt. I understand injuries in training camp/pre-season. That happens all the time. Guys are getting in football shape to get ready for regular season and they are in full pads, live drills, etc. But I don't recall many injuries happening in practice while the season is in full swing. Maybe I'm wrong, just know I never worried about injuries at practice during the season and now I do. This year, we had our 2 best players go down. Sammy also seemed like he could deal with the foot issue until he got stepped on in practice, but that was more of a fluke thing and don't think you can blame anyone for something like that.
  15. I don't know, I do have questions regarding Sammy and if he came back too early or if it was a bad surgery. Sure didn't help getting stepped on in practice. Speaking of practice, we lost our two best players in practice to hamstring injuries. If there's anything I question it's that. Are these guys not stretching properly or keeping hydrated? I mean seriously, back to back weeks we lose our best players to pulled hamstrings at practice. When was the last time you heard of this happening?
  16. The health of the team is going to be crucial to us having a shot. We need Dareus, Woods and Shady to play and contribute. Hopefully AW is OK as well. Without our star players, I don't think we can win. But if we get these guys back, I think we have a chance.
  17. Not a Geno fan, but man the guy has been through the wringer. Gotta say I feel a bit bad for him.
  18. Yeah great play, but our D just got off the field and this was the first play of the drive. Anyone else feel like Miami would score on their next drive? I know I did. Not enough offensive plays and D was out there way too long. I guess you can't pass up a matchup opportunity but a long sustained drive there could of been the difference. Reminded me of Jet game. Quick strike but the D goes right back out there:
  19. TT is who he is. Don't expect him to get much better or much worse. He makes some incredible plays every once in awhile but is not sure worth the big money. Just like the Bills to lose out on Dak Prescott by a few picks. Let the QB carousel continue
  20. This game was the season. 17 years and counting now? How are we so lucky to have the most dominating franchise in sports history in our division.
  21. Hope AW is OK, and not just talking from a football standpoint. Aside from that, the Pats have ruined our football lives for 15 years now. Someone needs to take them out.
  22. Special teams was awesome once again, unfortunately everything else sucked. I don't care what kind of looks we were getting, they should of tried running more with TD Mike. They seemed to give up on the run way too early. Thought O play calling was poor and once again they were rushing to get plays off with little time on play clock. This defense badly misses Darius. I think the long drives drained them and with the long trip and heat they just wore out. They just couldn't stop the run. Miami is not a good team but they wanted this game more. Horrible loss, and we now have to win 2 of next 3 against really good opponents to have playoff chance. I don't see it happening. 8 or 9 wins at most with 17 years and counting. The Patriots have ruined our football lives. They can't be stopped and they are the reason we can't make the playoffs.
  23. Everything thinks our defense is fine, but between the 20's they have been average at best. Red zone has been the difference, but it could only last so long. All I have to say is F*** Y** Dareus and all of you who thought our defense has been fine without him. It was only a matter of time for a subpar offense to destroy us.
  24. Can't ask for much more on special teams
  25. Getting killed at line of scrimmage and missed tackles all over. Missed opportunities on offense. Need to step it up boys, this is a big one!
