Andy Reid fired DOUGGEY FRESH after one season. How many QB's have Douggey, McBean and RICO developed? That would be none. Reid was on the staff going back to GB days when they traded for FAVRE. He then choose Dovanan Mcnabb, who had a decent career. Got rid of him to Washington at just the right time. Now he traded is meaningless first to BILLS to select Mahomes. We all know how this is going to workout barring injury of course. The kid mechanics is already better and he has a rocket arm and size. No wonder Whaley loved him. But why worry we have Peterman and a bunch of draft picks to get our own shinny new toy next year. But it will not matter if the coaches can't or don't have the experience to develop him.

How much is the fifth year option? can't be more than 10 million. This option, plus Peterman and a rookie QB salary would still be under 20 million for the position. Competition brings out the best

That's the problem for BORTLES, the guy had pretty good rookie season, then they start messing with his mechanics. sometime you just have to go play ball. He is a more talented passer than Tyrod, plus he has mobility as well. This will still allow the bills to draft a QB, plus I would give Peterman a chance to start the season. If he is worth keeping then the quarterback situation going into next year looks better. Are we not rooting for the 2018 draft?

Every player needs confidence. Especially the QB. The bills really don't have much faith in Tyrod. Mean while BLAKE BORTLES, is dealing with a QB killer in Doug Marone. Bortles and 4th to buffalo for Tyrod Tyrod doesn't fit this west coast offense . The three step drops will not work. If you watch the bills/jags from last year, I think Bortles played well. Fresh start for both players. Bortles in three years have over 11k pass yards and 69 TD's. problem has been turnovers. Obviously Tyrod protects the ball well, would be prefect for Marone ground and pound.

the answer to the oline is simple. Once Glen return, put him on the right side and let Dawkins play left tackle. We all know Glen isn't getting another contract with the bills.. Dawkins has played left tackle in college and through OTA'S. With Glen hurt and Henderson suspension at the beginning of the season, Dawkins is being asted at right tackle. If fully healthy starting o-line should be; GLENN, MILLER, GROY, INCOGNITO, DAWKINS. I left WOOD out, because he is not going to get another contract from the bills after this year. If they did not want to pay Sammy, can't justify paying WOOD.

This team did not need a rookie Head coach and GM. If you were going to fire Whaley, should have done it last year or the year before and bring in an experience front office person to run the team, especially with New Owners with no clue about running a NFL franchise.

The continuity problem is on the players side. We let all the talented players walk or trade them. Coaches don't play, players do. That's why good coaches maximizes the talent on the rosters and adjust accordingly. How many coaches we have to go through to learn this lesson. You win with proven talent in the NFL. I never thought talent and team building were mutually exclusive, especially assuming that everyone in the NFL is talented. Its the highest level of football. Congrats to SAMMY. This is the best thing that could happen for him. The bills organization is always making the wrong decisions. This trade only makes sense for the head coach and the GM. They now have a full five years to make excuses for putting out a bad football team. This team was a good defense away from being in the playoffs last year. The ownership group does not know what they are doing. I will not be wasting my time watching this team this year or next. You guys can now get excited about the draft for the next two years. How did I get hooked on cheering for a Loser like the Bills?

The NFL believe African American quarterbacks are only good to be a backup at best. They want them to play running back or receiver. They don't believe in their mental capacity to play the position. If Brock Oswilder had Tyrod's production, he would be seen as a bargain with his contract. Here, Tyrod is fighting to prove himself to a organization that hasn't won in 17 years, lead by a rookie head coach and GM. Both White and didn't give him the opportunity once leaving the Ravens. They traded Cradelle because they knew if he was cut, someone would have pick him up. I guess he had value for other teams that has been more successful. Talent is Talent. It doesn't matter if the coaches draft them or inherited them on the roster. If they trade Sammy, why would anyone watch this team next year. Only Bills fan would. If you call a person a liar, you are attacking his character. According to the media Whaley never got along with anyone. the two person Marone and Rex quit on the team and was salty out the door. Whaley did his job and the owner exercise is right o make a change.
