McDermott is an excellent coach. The bills would have played in a superbowl if Reid and the Chiefs were not around. Chiefs has always had the better team. Infact they definitely have the better team this year. No one expected the Bills to be good this year. This a testament to coaching and Josh Allen. With the turnover of the roster before the season. All the injuries during the season, and team to still win more games than last year and is right back in playoff. I have been saying that he is Coach of the year and it’s a shame that all you idiots can’t see the big picture. Right now we don’t have the best team!! But we do have arguably the best player in the league and a damn good coach!!!
-
The bills were pick to finish third in the division. The Viking had a good defense that got better.. They have good skill positions that hit better. Arnold is playing better but based on his past it could have only went up. The commanders are in one of worse division in football. But yes their record makes Quinn a contender. The bills were pick to have a loosing record this year. This year was suppose to be a retool/ rebuild year. McDermott has done the best job by far this year
-
Why is our coach never mentioned in the discussion for coach of the year. This team/ organization was terrible before he got here. All he does is win his first year and get us into the playoffs. We are basically a lock to win the division every year. This year might be his best job yet. We loose so many veteran players and the beat goes on. Whatever the team needs Coach has stepped up. Last as the D coordinator. This year grooming a young coach. Last year firing Dorsey. He always has the respect and pulse of the team. Why are we as fan not clamoring for him to win Coach of the year. Damn it why is the Bills PR team not doing something. We have to promote this man and give him his flowers now!!!

Easy trade for me.. Elam to the packers for Romeo Dobbs. Packers play a lot of man coverage, which Elam is good at. They like bigger faster corners. Dobbs is younger and looking to be a number one. Him and Josh could have the same chemistry like Diggs. Both team wins.

Honestly some of you guys are just terrible. If you have nothing good to say, then just move on. The insensitive and straight up STUPID comments are not a good look for the board and the fan base. Have some class and empathy.

Job not done . But it will sure be easier if we get that number 2 seed.. but knowing us we will make it hard… might be sweeter to knock out KC -

Super Bowl champions goes through adversity

Don’t buy into this BS everyone is saying. We have a top five QB in this league. In fact every team except KC, Cincy, Philly and maybe Houston would trade for Josh right now if he was available. Is he perfect? No! Is McDermott perfect No! However we have the pieces in place to make a run at the superbowl. Adversity will bring us together -
Super Bowl champions goes through adversity

Ok. Great. The last time I checked the season is not over. You become a champion when you win it all and this team still has every opportunity to do that. -
Let me be the first to say that team is struggling. However tell me the last time a superbowl winner just cruised through the regular season. Good team face adversity during the season. The goal is to get in the playoffs and go from there. I truly believe these next two games will show that the Bills , in particular Josh has the mental make up of a champion. It all starts with Josh going back and playing is style of football. Especially running the football from the QB position. This idea that we have to save him for the next 15 years is ridiculous. McDermott have this defense playing solid despite all the injuries. We need Josh to be Josh and anyone who is not on board can leave right now. This include coaches and players. Josh is a franchise QB, stop trying to change him. I believe in 17 and to a lesser extent McDermott. The sign of a good coach is his area of expertise. This defense is scrappy and plays hard regardless of the injuries. They kept us in the game. This unit is far better prepared than last season with less talent available due to injuries. McDermott knows what he is doing on defense. Now it’s time for 17 and the rest of the offense to catch up.. We will make the playoffs and then look out..Everyone is writing us off. I love it. Let’s go Bills

Who was behind the decision to fire Dorsey?
kirkwoodus13 replied to The Helmet of's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am sorry but he should have been fired in game. We basically ran all over them to score a touchdown. The next offensive possession three straight pass all incomplete, punt.. You saw the look Coach face. I was thinking the same thing. What’s is this dude calling. Was he even watching the game.. The bigger problem with this offense is Josh not being allowed to run. His running opens up the entire offense. I think this is a McDermott issue. What is he saving Josh for? -
Number 53 from the Eagles is better . Go get him. They don’t need him. Great on special teams but he is ready to start now!!

Devin Bush is the linebacker yo replace edmunds
kirkwoodus13 replied to kirkwoodus13's topic in The Stadium Wall
Buy low sell high. You don’t just loose those instincts. Bring him in and let’s see. We have our coverage backer in Milano. Let this dude stop the run and get after the QB. -
I know some here would say this is crazy.. But please remember this guy was the consensus top linebacker in his draft class. He had a great rookie season and then got hurt. A natural leader and great instincts. A change of scenery could do this former first rounder well. Tuff against the run and great blitzer. Sheds blockers way better than Edmunds ever did. What do y’all think.
-
Obviously you don’t watch the games. Cook was a wasted second round pick. Is first carry was a fumble. He did get better as the year went on but he is not going to make a career of grinding out tuff yard’s between the tackles. His biggest asset is obviously speed. Beanie wanted to draft Travis Eteniene from Jacksonville so Cook was a chance at redemption. He might be proven right but as off now he is not physical and is way more effective running off tackle or to the sideline. Devin is our between the tackle runner. So stop the nonsense.
-
If you are getting to the QB quickly by only rushing 3-4 defenders there is really no where to go. The majority of Josh completions were contested while Burrows targets was wide open. The difference in the game yesterday was Cincy was able to get pressure with their front four and we were not. Then later in the game they added their blitz package and our oline was done
-
Stop blaming Josh. The oline was terrible. Cook is a one dimensional player. Everyone know he is either running to the sidelines or running to the flat. Those plays were not open. Our Running backs are bad. Josh make more defenders miss than those two combine. They are simply not physical enough. Fix the oline. We can protect/ run against three and 4 man fronts. That leaves 7-8 in coverage. This the problem
-
The NFL has become a scoring league. Josh is clearly a top 5 QB in this league. However our oline is a complete disaster. I don’t care how talented the QB and skill positions groups are, if your line can’t protect or open holes in the run game there is no chance of winning. The oline regress this year. Dawkins at Left tackle was awful. Stafford signing was a bust. Brown at right tackle was not consistent. Bates got paid and forgot how to play. Then we have running backs that can’t make defenders miss in the backfield. Fix the Line and go get Josh Jacobs/ Zelle Elliot or any running back that fall forward instead of running to the sideline ever play. Devin and Cook are the same players. One is faster and the other is a little better at running between the tackles. Both suck at making people miss in the backfield. Josh is constantly running away from two or three defenders. Meanwhile other QB get to relax and read coverage against our horrible zone defense. Fix these two issues, with Von returning and Josh will bring home a Super Bowl.

A few months back I tried to discuss the possible effects of Covid on the Bills roster. Especially in regards to players not being vaccinated and how it would place the BILLS at a competitive disadvantage. I was rudely confronted and later suspended. I choose not too post here anymore because if it. But I had to come back and see how my fellow fans are reacting to the our increasing Covid list and most importantly too see if they are being block or suspended for talking about it. Simon or whoever you are, the fact remains that we live in a real world and this is affecting the team/ sport that we all love. Everyone is going to have an opinion one way or another. This is a fan forum to discuss all things Bills. This forum would be nothing without the fans/ community that makes it. Have respect for every single person and their opinions. You don’t have to agree with them..But should never silence them either. Go Bills

Hey Levon... You made the wrong choice
kirkwoodus13 replied to kirkwoodus13's topic in The Stadium Wall
It is very obvious that he took less money to play for KC compared to what the Bills and Dolphins offered. No one knows what Reid promised him. Could it be possible that Reid only signed him to keep the Bills or some other contender from signing him? Clearly he was promise a certain role and the coach did something completely different. As for over- rated Andy Reid, how many playoff games has this man lost with horrible coaching decisions. Yes he finally won one. But don’t you people ever compare this man to Greatest coach ever in New England. 7-1 in championships. Go back and watch Reid coaching decisions couple years ago in the playoffs against the Colts and Titans... just awful. I believe Bell and if the Bills are smart they bring him in just as they intended last year. -
Hey Levon... You made the wrong choice
kirkwoodus13 replied to kirkwoodus13's topic in The Stadium Wall
Our two lead backs are slow and strikes no fear in the defense.. These guys are seeing light boxes and can’t get the job done. Speaking of washed up, what’s has Breida done in this league. At least we know Bell has been a dominant rusher in this league. The last time he had was in an explosive offense with the Steelers what did he produced. The weak links in this offense are the running backs and the tight ends. The Bills ain’t winning nothing without upgrading one of those groups. Bell instantly gives this run game some respect. Obviously the coach and the GM felt that way last year because they were all in trying to get him. -

Yes the name was not spelled correctly.. But did you not know to whom I was referring to? Agree or disagree with my opinion and keep it moving. You guys obliviously have nothing better to do. This a football forum not an English/ spelling/ class. -

LeVeon Bell has not all of a sudden forgotten how to play football. Andy Reid is the most overrated coach in NFL history. Adam Gase is probably the worst head coach in NFL history. The Jets and Detroit Lions are maybe the worst run organizations in history. He is way better than anything we have. If Josh Allen played for Adam Gase he would probably be in Carolina right now. Player are hindered by their environment. Bring him to Buffalo and watch this man remind everyone why he was an all pro. P.S: This a football forum, if you want to discuss a miss spelled name, please don't comment on this topic. Thank you -
This man should be a Bill right now.. it’s no secret the Bills were extremely interested in signing him but he choose the easy road for a championship. He is better than every back we have right now. He needs carries and reps. His pass protection/blocking has always been excellent. He runs route like a receiver. The only question is his health and the fact that he sign to play with the JETS and Adam Gase. He is perfect for this scheme. Bring this man in and let him compete to be that Number 1 and only lead back. We need a back that can make the defense respect our running game . Two third round pick and a wash up Brieda is not going to get it done. Please Ring the Bell Mr. Beane
