  1. He really only needs to get to discovery. If Washington is any indicator, they don't want what could be there out. The NFL owners are insulated somewhat with the Comish and GMs, but every scandal you find out there is a lot of stuff going on. The Kap lawsuit did damage as well.
  2. McD was a mediocre DC before he got here. You really never know
  3. Are people actively hoping he fails? Is this a thing now? I'm grateful for his part in making this team exciting. I hope he finds success, just not as much as the Bills. Seems there are a lot of bitter ex's here though.
  4. Oliver isn't the problem in this scenario. He gets up the middle, but our ends, specifically the right side, are MIA. On the Mahomes TD run Hughes cut inside and got embarrassed on a pumpfake. Contain has been an issue in Buffalo for a long time now.
  5. It's going to be a rough spring for you.
  6. There is nothing saying he is staying. Right now its probably 50/50. That would mean a brand new system and everything that goes with that.
  7. The offense has only really been successful for 2 years. It was going nowhere fast before that. I agree with you, I just think it's a much softer landing for him. If he failed here it would be a much bigger blemish. A Bills offense regressing as he figures it out is suicide. It's win now here.
  8. You don't think having your first coordinator position being under and offensive mind you trust isn't attractive? Less pressure to win immediately and provide time to actually learn isn't attractive? I think a more seasoned guy might want to come to Buffalo, but a new coordinator would be on an island. They built to air it out, but the HC wants balance, so that's something they will always have to contend with. I can see him picking the Giants over Bills.
  9. You're going to get some bad news soon lol
  10. I mean, he keeps beating all the talent they bring in 🙄
  11. Yeah I don't know if anyone else wins that game. The level of imagination they pulled out was great. They never got healthy after that and took some cap hits, but it was a great team.
  12. Our right side lost contain multiple times. Hughes got fooled bad on the TD run. They don't collapse the pocket, they either go too wide or doing back underneath and get lost.
  13. The D was gassed the whole game. I don't think you can ask the O to give the defense anymore than what they got. Levi Wallace shouldn't be anywhere near the 1st or 2nd CB spot next year for one.
  14. Considering his play calling in the second half of his last game, I'm not sure he can do it. The Rams really fell apart and lucked into that last reception.
  15. I think it's just as likely that we get a worse coordinator. Daboll was good to very good no matter how we feel, and it's not going to be easy to replace him. Add in McDs tendencies and you could end up with a Greg Roman like guy.
  16. I thought Basham looked promising in the time he had. Sticking with the old guys on the right side probably wasnt the best move, but outside of a better CB2 at that point in the draft I think Basham is fine.
  17. That's actually more depressing than the loss. With all the young talent in the AFC I can't imagine squandering that many years of cheap prime Josh.
  18. I don't think he would ever admit it. Harbough is one of the few coaches that openly talks about their mistakes. McD is more of a "we're not gonna talk about the specifics"
  19. What makes you think he didn't take over? McD was fired by Reid for a reason. He only had 1 good scoring defense before he came to the Bills and that team got absolutely wrecked in the biggest game. He isn't the defensive guru that some people make him out to be.
  20. The inability of the right side to contain has killed the Bills for years. Jerry Hughes looked like a slow rookie on the Mahomes TD run. Also, deciding Levi Wallace is enough finally bit them big.
  21. They are celebrating on Twitter and spreading rumors that she was preventing him from seeing his son. Also, he is a kid and doesn't know any better. That fan base is basically the worst right now.
  22. It was a pretty good defense, it definitely needs to be rebuilt. They are super old on that side of the ball and not much better on the other. What does he do now with the nepotism hire? That's still a 10 win team with a rookie, I don't think that equals bad coaching. The Bills are just much better at almost every major position. I can't wait to watch them try and rebuild while developing a QB though, I don't think he sticks around for it.
  23. He has had 2 losing seasons in NE including the first and the last one with the COVID holdouts and Cam. He got the browns to 11-5 with Testeverde lol. The Browns were a team that a lot of people thought were going to take a bigger step before they collapsed following the relocation announcement. Lots of guys would be coaching with this resume. Did Brady coach all those amazing defenses that won them those early championships?
  24. This is where he is best lol that guy really doesn't inspire confidence when he speaks. I think Kim is the better public facing half of their relationship.
  25. Belichick is one of if not the best coach of all time, but he is an awful GM. He can and does win without Brady, but that defense is a bunch of guys about to retire and needs a lot of work. I don't think he is the guy to rebuild while developing a QB. One or the other and he is probably in the playoffs more often than not.
