There is also a contingent of people who do the same with Josh Allen.

Yeah this would make sense in 10-15 years when the kids who have only known some success are on here. Hell, the older guys on here have seen better times than most.

If Frazier returns, how much will your enthusism die?
Trogdor replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
You don't think this year was hard? Easily the biggest letdown in 20+yrs with all the Superbowl predictions. You're out of touch if you think people didn't get their hopes up even through the just win second half of the season. When they sucked it was easy to point to the roster or the GM and not get so invested. I think collectively we thought this was our year in Buffalo and then watched as we slipped back in the AFC. -

It's tough to finally get hope and just get completely outclassed. It was easier when they sucked. -
Franchise in trouble- Josh Allen has regressed
Trogdor replied to RoscoeParrish's topic in The Stadium Wall
So you need a top offensive line, multiple targets, and a different coaching staff for Josh to throw to the underneath and open receiver? If that's the case I don't ever want to hear about him being better than Mahomes or Burrow who will hit what's given. I'm not out on Allen, I really like him, but jesus the excuses when he plays poorly. -

All of those problems can exist and he can still have regressed. Idk how many screenshots and videos you need to see of him just overlooking open underneath stuff to push it deep. That was a problem he had in college and one I thought he had kicked. -
Bills D probably has 1 more year of running it back - and be good
Trogdor replied to appoo's topic in The Stadium Wall
I keep seeing this as though Benford wasn't the better of the two rookies when healthy. He is more polished in zone and showed good athleticism. He also didn't need to grab in coverage so he didn't make stupid penalties. Why put him at safety when corner is still a weakness? -
Milano is very good and White was great, but I think Dawkins is the most overrated played on the Bills. He is so slow and gets beat by speed all the time. Question is, why does McD get credit for this draft but Beane is the one for everything else? I think he gets too much credit for player personnel and too little for the people he hires.

Trey wasn't exactly lighting it up before the injury either. He was getting picked on more as teams showed that they weren't scared of him. Shut down corner might be the shortest window in all of football and now with the mental struggles it's looking less likely. He will still be good, but I wouldn't expect Revis.

Bills will not make it to the playoffs in 2023?
Trogdor replied to Cygnus99's topic in The Stadium Wall
A lot rides on how they find money to replace the MLB, SS, some D line, and shore up the secondary. There is nothing right now to show that White will ever be a lockdown corner again, but lets hope. If they don't do any of that well I can see Jags, Bucs, Giants, Chargers, and Dolphins giving them fits with Bengals, Eagles, and Chiefs probably running away with it. Who knows, maybe they will fire the coordinators and actually change their approach. -
Free Agents and Offseason Situation

I like Hines and think he was underutilized, but he gets paid more than a lot of good RBs. -
Free Agents and Offseason Situation
Trogdor replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wish they give up the special teams specialists roles and the D line rotation. It doesn't work here and honestly it had one good season in Carolina. It costs way too much money. -
Tbf he doesn't look for or use outlets when he had them.

Benford isn't a backup, he has been on the field more than not. Couldn't stop them when it counted to close out the game. It's one thing to sell out against the run, but they aren't defending the pass or run well right now.
-
Next year? Miami and the Jets are competing now. The Bills winning the division isn't a lock.
-
Hyde isn't coming back, so he shouldn't be part of the conversation. Elam gets torched all season, so I'm not sure how big of a loss he is today. Poyer is huge though. The white rehab is concerning considering all the praise the Bills training staff has gotten the last few years.
-
They can't stop the run and the offense under a guy who had never called plays before is having serious issues. That means NE is going to be tough, still have Miami again, and NYJ. I don't think they will get 100% healthy, almost no team ever is. If you are cool with competitive losses that's on you, but this is starting to mirror being a Yankees fan the last few years.

TBF when Edmunds was out they looked bad too and the middle of the field was wide open. The backup LBs just aren't that good.

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - They Are Who We Thought They Were
Trogdor replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
They moved a team to an area with an already established fanbase. I lived in Southern Maryland and there was still a lot of Washington support. I'm actually surprised they have as many fans as they do outside of the city itself. -
Edmunds…back to back good games. Facts. (Update: Another good game)
Trogdor replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
On the outside in his natural habitat lol. I don't think Edmunds gets any credit for a dude who had to learn MLB on the fly in the NFL. They zoom out and he is covering from the line to gain in and sometimes 3/4 of the field. Sure he doesn't shed blocks well, but idk where they find someone else to cover a range like that. -

Who Do The Bills Sign At Cornerback?
Trogdor replied to Allen2D̶i̶g̶g̶s̶TBD's topic in The Stadium Wall
The DUI is probably the least of their concerns from that rampage. Bringing him on would show a real lack of awareness. -
According to Eastman that's how it started. They wrote it as the origins being the same event and some of the characters are parodies. After the container hits Matt it then strikes a bystander holding a fish tank of turtles. Eastman and Laird talked about how crazy the premise was, but it worked/works.

I just found out that it's supposed to be a Daredevil parody lol. The ooze is what blinds Murdock and Splinter is a twist on Stick.
