The Phantom Hold and why the NFL is dying
Trogdor replied to Estelle Getty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Watching your teams vs the All Blacks all the time is about as good a preparation for watching the Patriots as one can get. Granted I stick to Union, so I don't know if it follows in both codes. The only conspiracy we need is how the NFL allows Kraft to pay Brady through TB12 and avoid the cap hit. It really frees up room for them to keep solid depth and take chances on other players. -
I think people on this board speak negatively of Cam as though it somehow makes McD look better. That team is a mess offensively and he is the least of their problems is the injured Cam. I don't even like the guy, but this is getting as weird as when people praised McD for his work with Cam and they're not even on the same side of the ball.

Barnwell has Bills at 6 wins in 2019
Trogdor replied to BillsfaninSB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not overly optimistic that they get this done. A total OL overhaul is going to take at least 2 offseasons and enticing high caliber players in those other positions won't be easy. We might end up like the Jets with little progress and a ton of money left over. I really hope I'm wrong. Don't forget they signed the worst rated tackle and he didn't even last the season. -
Updates from Senior Bowl week in Mobile, AL

That sweet mid range target Allen needs. Works really well in the areas Allen is best at passing to. -
10 yards less isn't really impressive considering the short fields most teams started with. The red zone defense was terrible and they struggled stopping the same runs over and over.

Bills hire Heath Farwell as ST coordinator
Trogdor replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Usually experienced HCs develop other coaches, not guys who are still struggling to learn their jobs. That being said, if he can cut back on penalties and make sure they know their jobs then it's a big win. -
My biggest hope is LT and then move Dawkins inside. They need at least 1 more guard on top of C and RT.

I assume it's would you rather have this current team or a new coach. I'm not sold on McD and this team is still at least 2 offseasons from being good. So I don't want this current team or coach. It's sad, but this team is still trying to get back to the Marrone teams level of skill.

Just got a stadium survey from the Bills
Trogdor replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There needs to be major upgrades to the roads and other mass transit to support a downtown stadium. It would be really cool to have a waterfront stadium like Baltimore, but I'm not sure they can do it without ruining the other updates the city has made. Canal side and the outer harbor are really coming along and a stadium there would probably just take away from that. If they can figure it out and not try to bankrupt the city that would be awesome. -

The cost alone would probably price people out. Buffalo is unique and you take that away without the tailgating. Some of you apparently want this above all else, but I know that a lot of people enjoy it. This team has been miserable for 20years and no comfy seat would keep the stadium full for that long. -

The bills do. It's going to be much harder to fill a stadium without tailgating. For better or worse that is a huge draw.
