  1. It is one of the first things they mention about every addition.
  2. His brother, JJ Watt, and other guys like them with extreme workout regimes always seem to get hurt. Just because he has been pretty lucky so far doesn't mean it won't bite him soon. I'm very cautious about guys like him.
  3. I'm glad that so many people on here have the same take on Metcalf. I have the same problem with Bosa and the other low body fat gym rats that always seem to be hurt.
  4. I don't mind the pick, but the trade sounds awful to me. We need more pressure, and getting rid of Hughes won't accomplish this.
  5. Glenn was solid, but Dawkins seems really slow off the snap and needs a lot of help. I'd prefer him in a position where speed guys can't just run around him.
  6. And pray that our new center actually finishes a season. In fact, all of the additions on the line have some injury concerns. I think they can be very good if healthy and Dawkins at LG sounds better than LT.
  7. Oooo such edge. We are now a less desirable spot than Cleveland. Openly mocked by reporters and game day hosts. Your not really trying to discuss it, you are just ignoring the new low this team has hit.
  8. Because that has been a common narrative around here as to how they were going to entice free agents. However, there seems to be a constant stream of hate coming from influential players and at some point that needs to be addressed.
  9. Are the majority of posters going to just gloss over how AB flat out refused to play here? Continuing the stream of players bad mouthing the franchise and refuting the "McD is a player's coach and people will want to play for him" narrative. More big names want to go to the Browns, and I've never been more embarrassed by the Bills because of it.
  10. Larry Fitz was injured as was the other top WR. David Johnson was a shell of himself. Probably because they have a worse line then the Bills. So yes, trash.
  11. In the games I watched there wasn't anywhere to slide lol. It was like a free pass for the D line all game. If they don't put some emphasis on the line, they will be drafting 1st next year too.
  12. He always seems out of his depth in these situations. I really think he is a better coordinator than head coach.
  13. I still don't get the people here melting over that statement. Don't you want a player to prove he is the best? I know a lot of the hate is still from the anti-Trump stuff, but the quote is mild. Either way Arizona is going to have the first pick again next year if they don't address that line. Fitz is aging out and Johnson forgot how to run last year.
  14. He played well for half a season. He gets beat at 1 on 1s a lot. I would hope that the LT can hold his own while being in the highest salary position.
  15. The Notre Dame guys seem to come out just fine. I think it's based on the program honestly. A lot of spread offense schools don't seem to develop linemen or defense. A trashcan would be an immediate upgrade. The defender might at least trip over it. I just don't think it makes sense to pick up mediocre guys in a rebuild to replace garbage. Might as well develop someone or aim higher.
  16. This is a very good breakdown. Discovery in such a case could end up being very costly for the NFL and the owners in their other business interests. I question the legitimacy of any rule that requires workers to pledge or stand for the anthem. Certain religions can't comply with that rule and that argument has already been used for the pledge in school.
  17. Almost Megatron numbers there. A bit smaller and slower. Still, if you can imagine just a slightly less Calvin running around.
  18. You act like collusion suits aren't a normal thing. Not to mention that Trump's comments regarding this case probably didn't help. Kap was at least above average as a QB and there are much worse starting in the league. The NFL settled in this case and Kap got what he set out for.
  19. I mean it was specifically for notable black people. Maybe the race card makes sense in this case.
  20. If he donates a big chunk of that then it's really a win for him and the community. Also the mediocre QB thing is played out, his stats and actual gameplay don't back it up at all.
  21. There are already proven QBs on teams that can win now and have holes. What makes you think that an athletic but unprove QB is going to entice big names? People quitting at halftime doesn't really scream culture. I think they need people to perform before it will really entice people.
  22. It's really hard to see where the line is drawn for them. PED suspensions don't seem to matter or lack of effort on previous teams. The only common thing I hear is about their church habits and what great people they are. It might all change once they start bringing in actual talent instead of backup level guys. I keep hearing about the process, but honestly it's hard to judge when most of the team is so new to the organization.
  23. Considering he had nothing to do with those 2 lol. Those are textbook Whaley moves. I think that the Jets proved last offseason that money alone won't entice big names. They were left with a ton of cap room and nobody to spend it on. The Bills are not an attractive landing spot and the additions over the last 2 years haven't been great. It's probably going to take 2-3 years just to get the Oline fixed.
  24. Did Allen deliver in a big game that would point to this? His main threat is his legs, and your crazy if you think BB wouldn't shut that down with 2 weeks of prep.
