Was the Jarvis Landry hit on Aaron Williams dirty?
Trogdor replied to BrycePaup4ever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He leaves his feet and targets the head, that's dirty for any player and should be worse than a fine. If he stayed on his feet and went shoulder to chest it would be just a hard hit. He ended a career and still gets to play and thats bs. -
The Bills still need to prove they can stop the run. The Jets and Dolphins always seem to gash us, no matter how bad they are that year. We haven't even played against true #1s in preseason yet, so let's just take a step back. That guy is a beast and should be afforded some respect in both running and pass catching. I love Edmunds, but the guy has never been a big tackler. He uses his size more than power. It was a knock on him before the draft and I haven't seen much different up to now. I don't really care as long as he makes the tackle, but he isn't really using the hit stick.

I'd rather listen to him than the propaganda arm of the Bills. It seems our choices are listening to negativity or how McD is the second coming. There really isn't much in the middle in talk radio.

Probably didn't hurt that Star was the worst one in the front 7. They were stacked.

I don't think Lawson has ever been bad, but we had unrealistic expectations here. He wasn't a pass rusher in college and he isn't in the NFL. I'd be happy if he can take out the tackle, guard, and center like he did against Carolina.

Once defenses gameplan for him I expect Murray to get murdered just like Rosen. They had the worst Oline in the NFL and I don't think it's improved very much. They allowed something like 17 sacks under 2.5 seconds. I don't care how slippery they think he is, that team is still going to suck.

One of or both of Sweeney and Knox...
Trogdor replied to whorlnut's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There are lots of fantastic athletes that aren't great football players. At some point he has to back up the hype with some sort of production. Sweeney can be very productive and is an excellent blocker. -

I don't think you get rid of Duke either way. He has a history of making those catches at a professional level. Ray Ray hasn't looked good to me. -
Who is your slightly surprising cut?

Maybe Foster is the Nick Foles of WRs lol takes a while to get the rust off -

I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't count towards the PS number. It's something special to do with that international program. I'd rather put McKenzie out there. He probably gets just as much separation, and even if he only caught the ball 50% of the time it would be an improvement. I think Duke pushes Ray Ray out, so maybe him. -

Duke looked good last night while Ray Ray looked off. I think the size and red zone threat will lock him into a spot. -

Does Zay make you feel better honestly? I dread whenever a pass heads his way. He has been awful. -

I thought for sure they would mention it during the replay, but nothing. He locked up the tackle, guard, and center on that one. Might as well start Harry and let Shaq do Star's job from now on lol. -
Every Allen Pass Play in Review
Trogdor replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
His first two were bad, but he was lights out on the rest. I think the anticipation is better and that gives Beasley a real good chance at YAC all season. I'm very critical of Allen, but he looked very good yesterday. Even if it is vanilla defense, the new WRs and Sweeney show some serious promise with separation and speed over a very good LB corps. If the Bills can only partially improve their red zone offense this will be a completely different team. -
Kelly Holcomb, gone too soon. Probably the craziest way to lose a QB lol.

It feels like almost every signing in the last two years was either coming off of a major injury or has a history of injuries.

The ol' my wife's favorite show explanation lol

This was during his college games. Towards the end of their season there was a real lack of effort on his part in crucial parts of the game. It actually really surprised me that he was picked up at all by the Bills when they push the effort narrative so much. We will see how useful he can be as a scout team QB.

Sarcasm? It's so hard to tell these days. Wood is a no, trying to low ball Incognito is yes, and trading Glenn was a yes. Who knows if Incognito has a mental break or not if he is still with the team. Also, Wood wasn't as surprising as the total lack of skill from his replacements, including one who had done an excellent job at it just recently.

Putting a consistent winner on the field might accomplish this, but if the trend continues it won't . 20 years of mediocrity and still the attendance is good thanks mostly to tailgating. I remember fights in the stands and drunk dudes trying to run around the stadium in the 90s, but there was no smartphone to record it.
