  1. Idk about DT, but I think they assume the improved edge rush will improve the DBs. They won't have to stick with their man for as long.
  2. He can show him his favorite parlors and how to get away with it.
  3. Average QB? Don't go that homer. Nobody should want him in the division.
  4. I think the founder with a much longer record who didn't accumulate his wealth by destroying areas his business operates gets a longer leash.
  5. I doubt that Jerry has anything to do with this. He also probably wouldn't support another team in his market. He didn't even like the idea of Vegas. With revenue sharing they can play anywhere to empty stadiums and still get wealthier. Kim has made so many comments in the past that line up with this. I still don't understand people that think they are some well intentioned family that is tied to Western NY when they don't even live here.
  6. When his whole schtick was how he could just sell another well? Can't really expect the same guy who raped PA to change here. If they don't care about using illegal chemicals in their drilling operations, do you think he cares about taking the team away from Buffalo?
  7. Very much a McKelvin boom or bust feeling for me. I actually like the consistency of Roberts, but a TD here of there will be nice.
  8. That's not how he got it and that is a crazy low rate lol. 148M vaccinated in the US and that few have that side effect, that actually makes me feel better about it. However, Sweeney got his from COVID and not the vaccine.
  9. I'm not sure this is 100% true. Players get taxed based off where the game is, so taking the whole salary in NY might cost quite a bit. Especially since they are guaranteed a game in Florida ever year.
  10. but he needed a redshirt year...Josh needed 2 years to get up to speed. DE is tough and it will take time to learn the correct moves and how to use his hands.
  11. Except go in coverage. I loved Lorax, but he was a slow liability out there in the end. I agree on Philips though, it's the same sort of stuff our DEs have been doing where they don't maintain and they get burned.
  12. Teams ran right through the middle in 2019 and 2020. He makes little to no difference. I've seen him get handled 1v1 many times. The biggest differences were the loss of contain that Shaq provided and the loss of penetration from Philips. They let the sack leaders of an already bad defensive line walk and it got worse. Not really all that shocking.
  13. Neither of them are particularly good at it. Hopefully they modify their scheme more than they did last year.
  14. It's just the way the description comes across. Also, almost all the time he was on the inside he would swing wide to the end, so I don't really see him as a viable hand on the ground inside guy. Excited for the potential though.
  15. I don't think he is, but this sounds an awful lot like Maybin. It just wasn't all that strong of a class for defensive line, so it is what it is. Hopefully he develops fast to help now instead of years down the line.
  16. I think Hughes just gets the benefit because he was on the most dominate line we've had. He was probably the weakest one on that line too, but still good.
  17. I'm not sure he showed promise as much as did better that the worst season of rushing I've ever seen. Karlos Williams showed promise, but I wouldn't put Singletary in that category. Personally I'd like to see what Antonio Williams can do. They really want to see their picks make it though, so I expect Ford, Singletary, and Moss get time over more productive players.
  18. After watching him this year I'm less worried about Wilson. The one throw at his pro day causing so much change is very Trubisky like.
  19. He is the slowest one off the line by a considerable margin. I don't think his power can make up for that deficiency at this level.
  20. Tommy Tremble could be that TE/FB the Bills need. The ND TEs all come out polished with the ability to block and catch. Probably the least talented one coming out over the next few years though.
  21. Awful placeholder. I swear if you look at the missed attempts he has the laces wrong a majority of the time. Much improved punting though.
  22. That doesn't really mesh with white coaches with less experience and results being chosen over black coaches. Urban Meyer probably thrives on familiar faces because he's never been anywhere without questionable practices. College coaches control their players lives and are given god level powers at universities. This is going to be a rude awakening for him with the players having more power.
  23. I agree with you on Moss and I think it's weird that they bill him as a short yardage guy. He was a shifty back in college and Singletary is a YAC runner, but they seem to think they both do the opposite. Williams looked way more impressive either way. Sometimes I think they try to strike non-power 5 conference gold too much.
