Matt Araiza, The Punt God, Signs With Team in Mexico
Thrivefourfive replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is never included on the checklist of Bills un-overcome-ables for 2022. It should be, but I guess it’s best forgetting it than using it as another excuse why the Bills lost to the Bengals. Those are two insanely different situations. -
The Bills should trade for Mike Evans
Thrivefourfive replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
You guys would not like this. Evans is infuriating to watch. He runs no routes, if he even decides to go more than 70% effort. And then he’ll have a game or two where it looks like he should be a top five WR all time. We are looking for a complete WR that can cross, work the middle, and take a short pass and YAC the hell out of it. JA doesn’t need to be throwing six fly routes to Evans a game. -
Tremaine Edmunds will test free agency
Thrivefourfive replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s funny. For a playmaker on defense I have zero recollection of any plays he’s made. The Bills can absolutely replace him cheaper. It would be awful to pay him stupid money for his services. His services aren’t that great. Now, if he becomes one of the best LBs in the league… that’s another ding on McD and Frazier, unfortunately. -
Wouldn’t that be a catastrophic mistake. I mean this is someone’s sole purpose for being on this earth — to make the Super Bowl grass perfect. And it was flat out bad.

The Bills did this to us. We shouldn’t even have to be looking at this guy. Billls should’ve handled RB years ago, every year, making sure it wasn’t a weak spot. Look at the turnover in KC at the position. I need two hands to count the number of productive backs they’ve had over the past five years.. with bad Olines too.. We should be be able to focus on OLine and WR, two positions at most, and not almost ALL positions except QB. The Robinson scenario should’ve been solved years ago.

I will buy that that route on press coverage is more hold-inducing than say a DB playing five yards off and the WR running a quick out. So the Chiefs ran it knowing a hold was in the cards. But I say again, LET THEM PLAY! If the DB knocked him down, fine. But there’s grabbing almost every time a WR make cuts with a DB draped all over him. It’s almost impossible for a DB not to instinctually put his hands on the WR in all those situations. It happens all game long. It would just be insanity if the refs called it every time or if TV replayed every non call. In that situation, it was very tricky tack. Easy no call. No one’s complaining on the Chiefs, Mahomes isn’t one to dwell, he’s onto the next play. And let’s have a better ending to a great game. It wasn’t a big enough call to match the moment. So stuff it, ref.

Stefon Diggs - “I watched the game five times”
Thrivefourfive replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why can’t an NFL player, one of the smart ones, figure out what happened in game that he played in and watched five times? Say it, Stefon. Say out loud the part we’re all thinking and talking about. It may be the only thing that saves us. And hopefully saying it won’t end your time here. Let the truth set you free. -
Josh Allen massive favorite in odds to win 2023 NFL MVP
Thrivefourfive replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Isn’t Vegas trying to split the betting field. Hence this thread creation. -
Don’t call that! Bradberry said it was because it was and he didn’t want a fine and he wants to move on, But the ref just can’t call it. It was so soft, and so out of place for the flow of the game. And it absolutely ended the Super Bowl. Don’t call that foul.

The field. How could an NFL grass field be that bad. Every step left a two foot long divot. And the slipping. My god the slipping. I just don’t understanddddd

Anyone else see Chris Jones jump straight up onto Jalen Hurts, and Hurts not move an inch then push forward three yards

Brick-By-Brick, the NFL Losing Me As A Fan
Thrivefourfive replied to pocoboy's topic in The Stadium Wall
I started watching at 6:30 PST, skipped all the crap. I actually found that the announcers were low key and didn’t get in the way of the game. Although I still can’t help but hear the female ice skater voice from the analyst. Wow FOX. So it seemed like a regular season 1pm game on FOX to me. btw I was done with Super Bowl parties ten years ago, so old man here. -
I don’t know. The Chiefs defense looked a lot different than the Bills defense. They flew all over the field; didn’t give up; didn’t looked beaten. They made multiple pre snap penalties that lead to Philly points. The Eagles defense in the second half looked more like the Bills defensive. Deflating. Team morale killing. Giving up EASY touchdowns. I think there’s a huge difference with how the Chiefs defense looks versus how the Bills soft, no rush, easy yards, giving up 3rd and long blah blah blah. The Chiefs defensive just doesn’t scream, WE CAN’T DO ANYTHING TO STOP AN OFFENSIVE. And Mahomes does what it takes to keep it close. Then wins. And the Chiefs defensive SCORED, which probably won them the game. They’re always scratching.

Super Bowl Pre-Game thread. (Chiefs vs. Eagles)
Thrivefourfive replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
God, I’m getting the sweats thinking about Buffalo in this game playing the same old tired defense and getting shredded by the run game and then the pass game. Then getting pressured and struggling to make yardage on offense. Thank god I don’t have to experience that today. It would’ve been so ugly. Our coach staff would’ve been an embarrassment today. -
Allen will NOT need surgery on elbow
Thrivefourfive replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
If he needed elbow surgery it would be to improve his golf game -
Cover 1 promoting an undersized 3T for draft
Thrivefourfive replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
Right. This is the type of guy the Bills CANT justify taking. They just have to move on from the body type / body transformation guys they think they can pull off. It’s over Johnny. Just draft guys to to what they do best. Forget that nonsense for a year or two and see how that goes. Please. -
Listen, McDermott was glowing after the Rams game with how dominant our OLine and DLine played. He (and Beane) obviously thought they had it figured out, and that made their chests puff out. So they know. They know how important the trenches are. It is going to be their highest priorities this off season. There’s no doubt about it. The stinky part is they’ve failed so far. And they know that too. So I’m going to go back and vote. I think they are plenty aware and are not of the mindset of wasting this opportunity with Josh Allen as QB. They’ll either figure it out, or die trying. I vote for headed to a championship.

Daboll/Hodgins - Does their success bother you?
Thrivefourfive replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Would love to see how Daboll would use Shakir. Seems more talented than Hodgins -
How do the Bills win the Super Bowl next year?
Thrivefourfive replied to QB Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Mahomes is the most talented quarterback. No idea is Allen can even get to a Super Bowl, until he does. -
The Bills won’t pay him any higher than what they would pay Singletary. Obviously Cook is better. Just pointing out that I don’t think the Bills are paying Cook1 a reduced deal either.
-
HE’S TOOOO LITTLE = injured He’s better inside runner than Cook2, but we definitely don’t need another undersized back. It’s getting silly back there. Draft Robinson to get him on that coveted rookie deal. Figure out the OLine. No high priced RB please

Antonio Brown Claims He Got CTE From James Harrison
Thrivefourfive replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Especially since I started him and lost my FF championship by 3 points. He can go straight to hell as far as I’m concerned. -
Why is he about to copy identically Phillip Rivers throwing style
