  1. Anyone have a feeling the defensive scheme will be exactly the same..? My hope has not been captured yet.
  2. Fournette doesn’t play well behind crap lines. His best ball is catching passes, surprisingly, and the Bills don’t throw it to RBs. I don’t see how this works. Putting it out there. This year I was shocked by how few RBs had meaningful playing time. Really only two backs, Singletary and Cook. And neither had big games. The Bills just didn’t use RBs last year. The words of the great Saints Jim Mora.. “…We didn’t run the ball; We didn’t try to run the ball…”
  3. I thought the big media question was: Why hasn’t Frazier gotten a head coaching job yet?! Their heads are going to explode when they see this.. Oh yeah, they’ll mention it for a couple seconds (because it’s Josh Allen related) and move on.
  4. It has be be a guy with experience. This is Rookie ball. And it can’t be McDermott because he has way too much on his plate as the HC, which he’s had some questions game day calls already. Just playing process of elimination here.
  5. Now that’s the way to do this. Well executed, McBeane. That’s the best coordination, planning, and execution this coaching staff has had in a big moment… ever! Well done, boys.
  6. Regime change. My god. Look at Iraq! Terry Pegula better have his ducks in a row if he’s pulling that cord. McBeane built this thing into a perennial division winner and playoff winner. The hump appears to have not been gotten over, but they built this thing this far. And Terry has some things on his plate that he may not want to blowup that right now. McBeane is here for a while. The most we could ask is that Sean and Brandon are made to be held accountable through reflection of everything top to bottom and declared adjustments and adaptations.
  7. Real fun at parties..?! ARNTCHA ARNTCHA??!! Isn’t one of the characters dead, and the other actor is dead in real life? Am I misremembering..?
  8. Anyone else get the feeling that we think this defense is hinging on this position? I mean, I know it’s an important position, but should such a great defense (statistically) be held hostage by Edmunds.. which is crazy because he’s not even a game changer. Should a defense with this much invested in it be more complete on the field and not so dependent on the talents of one position?
  9. Peyton Manning and Lamar Jackson are two pretty difference entities, no? Comparisons stop right after it’s declared both are/were NFL players.
  10. … I don’t think Beane can show McDermott the door. Do you think what you describe is going to happen?
  11. It’s sad. You’re right, but this goes against every instinct they possess as football people. We might need to come to grips that the writing is already on the wall here. Diggs is already making more noise than any Brady WR ever did, INCLUDING RANDY FREAKING MOSS! I don’t think JA is going to be able to carry the defense first company line for McBeane like Brady did for Belichick for all those years.
  12. In free agency and the draft they will get offensive linemen and receiver(s). The question will be will they be the right players and will the staff coach them up properly.
  13. This is the part that just needs to be forgotten. I don’t know what good it could do to use this fact in the Bills operating procedure today. It means absolutely nothing, and should not be considered by any Bills decision makers. Just let the fans have it and be done with it. If McDermott wins a championship it will be part of a great story. Understood. But the measure of if he’s capable of doing that has nothing to do with 17 years.
  14. Well that escalated quickly. I’m talking about Jackson.. playing and getting hurt.. and removing all doubt. I wouldn’t call you a fool. No personal attacks on you. Okay. Watson had a terrible 6 or 7 games last year. We’ll see how he looks going forward. The Browns are about twice as talented on offense as those Texans teams were, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Watson name another name for himself in 2023-24. Question is, what direction is Jackson headed in?
  15. Ooo ooo, I like this. Diggs is Allen’s strategic talking piece. I think that works. Allen can’t put himself out there as disgruntled with the coaching staff/front office. But Diggs can.. fits the diva tag. Diggs is really doing Allen, and us, a solid. Smart. And the staff and FO don’t even realize they’re getting a wake up call in a nice, conscientiousness way. Go Bills!!!!
  16. Better to shut up and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.. Jackson has hurt himself (no pun intended) by playing and showing he’s now a fragile franny. Watson is/was a much different QB than Jackson, specifically.. Watson can throw. I don’t want to sound like a jerk, but anyone thinking Jackson can throw with the top half of NFL QBs is wrong. I’m over that silly discussion. The last time we saw Watson he was making plays and leading his team in the playoffs. He was absolutely a difference maker, and you’d be nitpicking to say he had flaws that hurt the Texans ROI. So here we have Jackson, the one dimensional (in a bad way) hurt QB vs Watson, a stud QB by every form of the definition. No comparison imo.
  17. Hey, is he healthy now? Just remembered.. he was not healthy enough to play in the Raven’s playoff game against the division (that matters!) rival, so what’s the deal now? What’s the injury update? Sounds like he’s negotiating as if he was never hurt to begin with.
  18. If the Bills sign Edmunds for any kind of cap influencing money, imma be piiiissssseeedddd
  19. If we look at each, Rice is the worst because of the video and he never played again. Kaepernick second, and Watson third. Watson’s is worse imo, but definitely not in the eyes of the NFL owners club. The Punter is most similar to Watson obviously, and I could see him sneaking his way back in and his incident never being mentioned again during an NFL broadcast, because who cares.. punter.
  20. It could be a death blow to the entire organization if they don’t handle this right. Getting a boatload of draft picks seems to be the safest bet.
  21. This is never included on the checklist of Bills un-overcome-ables for 2022. It should be, but I guess it’s best forgetting it than using it as another excuse why the Bills lost to the Bengals. Those are two insanely different situations.
  22. You guys would not like this. Evans is infuriating to watch. He runs no routes, if he even decides to go more than 70% effort. And then he’ll have a game or two where it looks like he should be a top five WR all time. We are looking for a complete WR that can cross, work the middle, and take a short pass and YAC the hell out of it. JA doesn’t need to be throwing six fly routes to Evans a game.
  23. It’s funny. For a playmaker on defense I have zero recollection of any plays he’s made. The Bills can absolutely replace him cheaper. It would be awful to pay him stupid money for his services. His services aren’t that great. Now, if he becomes one of the best LBs in the league… that’s another ding on McD and Frazier, unfortunately.
  24. Wouldn’t that be a catastrophic mistake. I mean this is someone’s sole purpose for being on this earth — to make the Super Bowl grass perfect. And it was flat out bad.
  25. The Bills did this to us. We shouldn’t even have to be looking at this guy. Billls should’ve handled RB years ago, every year, making sure it wasn’t a weak spot. Look at the turnover in KC at the position. I need two hands to count the number of productive backs they’ve had over the past five years.. with bad Olines too.. We should be be able to focus on OLine and WR, two positions at most, and not almost ALL positions except QB. The Robinson scenario should’ve been solved years ago.
