To me, this all proves the point that the League never wants to suspend games. Ever. That’s why I’m irked when I hear that the League postponed this game. They didn’t. They don’t care one iota about extenuating circumstances. It was the governor’s safety emergency that postponed this game. The NFL just did what they had to do with the Monday reschedule in reaction to the Governor's call.

It’s postponed because of safety traveling. Can they say, Nope, not traveling to Buffalo until it’s safe? Or, if the NY governor lifts the emergency, is it a non issue? So the Steelers in Hochul’s ear..? I think the PA and NY governors should make a fun little public wager on this one.

It really is incredible how small of a footprint LAX has compared to these gigantic airports. At Atlanta.. once heard our captain say we were 25th in line to takeoff. That was interesting.

The Steelers must be on equal footing with the Bills in the decision making, correct? This is a very curious topic for me, I’d love to learn more about it. I’m always thinking the worst when politicians get involved. Goodell is a politician, among other things.

If playing games in Buffalo when there’s weather is a battle between the Commissioner and the Governor, I don’t even know what to say. It’s so so bizarre. I’d rather they play with no fans in the stands than a neutral site.

I believe at halftime of the Bills game they showed the stat that Miami is 11-0 this season with a halftime lead. (Now 11-1.) Stat nerds need to be placed in a special category: useful but not truth. That stat says more about Miami being 0-6 when trailing at half time and therefore being a very weak team, a staff that can’t adjust, it goes on.. Also says that Buffalo is a different animal. You’re 11-0 because you haven’t been up at the half against the Bills,,, yet. Miami is stat fueled, which I think is extremely flawed. Stats hit on the past, and don’t take into account that after this next game the stats will tell a different story.

It’s so difficult to imagine a “tough” Dolphins team ever again. It’s been 50 years since they had a tough team, and even that was a No Name defense. I’m gonna say it - Tyreek Hill is their toughest employee. And he’s only tough because he beats pregnant women.

So when I said he’s the key to a playoff run, I wasn’t a complete idiot. I’m beaming. Two Shakirs is better than one Shakir and one Davis. It’d be great to draft a hall of famer like JULES!, but maybe a really competent guy gets it done as well. I mean… not one game ever has been suspended because of weather due to an open stadium. 90% of those games suspended were because of September hurricanes. The Minnesota game was suspended FROM a dome. The Bills game have been suspended because of public safety, not because the game would be played outside. A dome does zero to alleviate these suspensions. We understand this, right?
