Okay… I think we know all of this is happening to the Chiefs. Let’s be honest about why it’s not happening to the Bills.

If Andy Reid were the Bills head coach ALL of this would be happening to the Buffalo Bills

Josh made the right call to go for the TD

It’s so funny. A Bass field goal with two mins left,, and we would have for sure seen the Chiefs go down and do what the Bills were trying to do (allegedly)—score with no time left. And I wished it would’ve happened that way on McDermott’s defense. If we were going to lose, I wish it at least lead to his removal. -
Is the #2 WR already on this team?
Thrivefourfive replied to TheyCallMeAndy's topic in The Stadium Wall
I love Shakir, but if he’s the WR2, our WR3 better be better than him 😉 -
Am I the only one not planning on watching Chiefs/Ravens??
Thrivefourfive replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
After the season ending devastation by the Bills for the 45th time in my lifetime, my first reaction was not to watch anymore football. But that feeling washed off quickly and I’m looking forward to the best Sunday for the NFL. Interested to see if the Chiefs can play back to back games at the level it will take to get back to The Game. I am still very very impressed with how the Chefs played against us. They were downright surgical.. the best I’ve ever seen them play to be honest with you. Ever. In my lifetime. -
Greg Cosell - “I don’t think they have a number 1 WR”

And I totally agree. Diggs was 1A in Minnesota. He had a success few years as a WR1 in Buffalo, but that’s probably because of his QB. -
Josh made the right call to go for the TD

I mean, no *****. I haven’t come off that opinion.. no doubt in my mind that everything was there so you take the shot. But JA17 just didn’t step into the throw, which.. yes, with two behemoths moving into him he definitely could have done — he just needed some forward momentum to put more juice on the throw, Josh doesn’t stride much anyways.. doesn’t have to. Or, put enough air under it to reach KS10. Either way, it would have been six. The Diggs underneath-run out the clock crowd, to me, are projecting confidence, which is cool, but you take touchdowns ANY WAY YOU CAN GET THEM. Especially—ESPECIALLY—to go up by four! -
Ryan O'Halloran - Bills should go Defense Heavy in draft
Thrivefourfive replied to BCAS Baritone's topic in The Stadium Wall
The issue is that McDermott could have the 2001 Ravens defensive and they’d play small in the biggest games. -
mmmm hmmmmm

McDermott makes excuses easy to give because he’s an excuse maker. There’s always going to be some excuse with this guy. The players will always have an out because their leader always has an excuse.
-
The biggest take away from the weekend was that the Chiefs are primed for another ring. I didn’t think that before they got surgical with us. Now, they’re scaring the ***** out of the NFL

Anyone wish we were down by 4 at the end?
Thrivefourfive replied to Jukester's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is head games and I disagree with it. If you can’t understand the situations for what they're worth, then good luck. This is actually perfect for how dysfunctional the Bills are in crunch time. Get rid of the coaches. -
McDermott has always had a scapegoat. At some point here, he has to go. It’s always going to be some excuse with him. The Chiefs were surgical last night. The Bills played and coached at a high level but it wasn’t enough. With the injuries, they need to out coach the Chiefs and that just didn't happen. • Kelce got loose • Mahomes scarmbled at will • Mahomes barely hit the ground • The Chiefs running was a problem • The offense has too many nothing plays It’s not the worst coaching performance by McDermott’s staff by a wide margin, hut at this level, he's stuck here. No progressing. Belichick would have won a Super Bowl this season as Bills head coach.

Still bugs me he was a captain.

Allen was legendary (even better than 13 seconds Allen)
Thrivefourfive replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
He really is a monster in December and the playoffs. I’ve been setting up this team up as being better than the 2021 team. I included many variables, including this teams memories of the 21 team losing in Arrowhead. In claiming this was our best shot, I looked at our opponents and the venues. We blew it. To me, this is worse then 13 seconds. At least 13 seconds ended with being favored the next season to win the Super Bowl and stomping the defending champs at home in the season opener, like the 91 Bills after wide right. But that all fell apart tragically. 44 yards carries with it all the ghosts of Billsies past, and therefore each and every Billsy in the future will burn much deeper than the last [Billsy]. -
I know it’s in an other thread, but here you contradicted your statements.. the need for a touchdown and in your opinion, the correct play to check down. Just saying.
-
Think about how much less responsibility there is for special teams too. Kick off, kick return.. almost doesn’t exist. Wouldn’t the special teams coach have basically the more influential input regarding the status and performance capabilities for the kicker and punter? Ours failed.

How do fans even think about the future at times like this?
Thrivefourfive replied to ShakAttack's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well it’s the only thing to think about. How do you built the best team possible for next year. And you hope you make the right moves. -
You can choose anything relating to organization personnel. Mine: PEGULA, BEANE, MCDERMOTT TO MEET THIS WEEK REGARDING FRONT OFFICE AND TEAM PERSONNEL Edit: Kicker Bass Cut

The 2nd and 9 endzone shot to Shakir
Thrivefourfive replied to ChrisWatson#21's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sometimes if you’re in the pocket you throw flat footed because of contact coming from the front. Allen threw flat footed because of what you described. It seem led he started his flat footed throw before he was hit, but he knew he’d get hit. I believe he couldn’t planted and driven it, with his arm and follow-through hitting into the pressure. I believe he could’ve made that throw. It doesn’t take much movement for Allen to plant. He basically just lifts his foot and puts in down in the same place. Sometimes he strides, ever so slightly…those are the rocket balls. I also believe he could’ve loft the ball a slight bit before or during the frontal contact. I think that type of ball wouldn’t resulted in six. -
That’s a confirmative, OP

How about the D-line? 1 sack in two playoff games

The 2nd and 9 endzone shot to Shakir
Thrivefourfive replied to ChrisWatson#21's topic in The Stadium Wall
The biggest factor in the play is that it was an easy touchdown. Allen wasn’t hero-balling it in triple coverage. It was a touchdown with a decent throw. Never ever ever, anywhere, anytime, pass up that throw to that WR….again at anytime in the game. Unless you’re the one writing the script and you have a better outcome than the Chiefs beating the Bills again in the playoffs
