  1. Ahhh, the media is just a sideshow. This isn’t international affairs. There’s no need AT ALL for local sports teams journalism to be lunatics about investigative stuff. A media that interferes in team activities is doing a disservice to the fans, because there’s no way at all it wouldn’t ruin the team. So either a team’s media is gullible and wrong, or invasive and wrong. The important thing is they’re wrong, one way or the other. If the media got into the depths of personal conflict within the organization they’d surely ruin the team.
  2. As the second best QB in the league, I expect Allen to get better every year. With his supporting cast, his numbers should remain, at least. A direct positive impact from not forcing Diggs the ball will be seen—a couple less INTs, a couple more better placed throws, and a happier offensive unit. In top of that, Diggs had a hard time getting wide open against man coverage. He didn’t need much space to make pro catches, but it’s not like he was a dynamic route runner aside from the past two years. The good stuff with his artist footwork routes was years 1 and 2 in Buffalo. Also, he rarely did anything in YAC, so Allen will be hitting more dynamic ball carriers upcoming. Cooks. Cooks could be really fun this season. Like Marshal Faulk fun. The opportunity is there.
  3. Me too. We’ll still lose to mentally tougher teams, but maybe then McDermott will finally be fired.
  4. A peewee coach should be able to scheme a guy open. Know idea why the Bills are always accepting that Josh Allen has to be super man to score a touchdown.
  5. I don’t trust this front office to pick wisely on either of those two positions. But I’d go WR without a doubt.
  6. The DLine and Runningbacks room is a major disappointment based on the usage of high draft picks.
  7. I just hope Allen can do ONE TIME what Mahomes has done practically every single time he’s in a playoff game, especially a Super Bowl - Win. Have the Bills ever won a playoff game in Allen’s era being a dog, home or away? Serious question. There was a serious moment there in KC in 2022 that Allen did all he could. Played like a true winner. But…. Haven’t had that opportunity again, has he. That could realistically be his only shot to get one against that guy. The uber great, like Mahomes, are great because they don’t give up too many opportunities to get beat. So in Allen’s achieving moment (a loss) Mahomes gets a FG with 13 secs left, and throws the game winning TD in OT. Mahomes didn’t exactly ***** the bed huh. He kind of ripped the hearts out of the entire city of Buffalo. Not sure how many examples are needed to finally admit Mahomes is special special, and Allen is just special? I really don’t know. And unless one argues that Mahomes is just more physically gifted that Allen… well then, the mental disparity is even greater, which is where I stand. It’s Mahomes, then it’s Allen, then it’s everyone else. All the other factors like coaching, Kelce, players who drop (which really is hilarious considering the Chiefs lead the league in dropped passes).. fire away. But Allen is the guy that has to beat Mahomes, probably with another head coach (different conversation) and right now the gap between winning and losing against him is widening. ONLY BRADY (2x) and BURROW HAVE BEATEN MAHOMES IN THE PLAYOFFS. He’s 15-3! And we think Josh has it in him despite never doing it. Nice argument. Anyone think Mahomes has it easy with where he is and what he’s doing? I don’t. KC is a circus. Mahomes is other worldly mentally, and Josh isn’t.
  8. In whatever place these freakozoid athletes get to mentally, Allen has no choice but to get there with them. Jordan has it, Tiger has it, Nicklaus had it, Brady and Montana had it. I’m sure Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio had it. Recently, all three Tennis greats have it. It’s all upstairs. There are ways we can tell that a great one has the instinct for winning championships. It’s how they talk, what they say, what they believe is happening, and how they lead the situation to reach the top — total belief in yourself to be the reason your team wins championships. Athletes are insanely confident individuals. Even proven competent pros think they’re the very best at what they do, when they’re clearly not, usually because of physical limitations. Allen has the physical talent to be in the historical sports best-of-the-best group, so he’ll have to find that mental place that gets him there. His, focus, concentration, and determination needs improvement.
  9. The fans have a case, but KS will leave them first.
  10. This drafts picks hit because the Chiefs not have incompetents the running offense and the defense. Why shouldn’t he get blasted for that if he were Beane IN BUFFALO? The thing is he’s in Kansas City and the rings overrule those draft misses,,, because of all his draft hits.
  11. Romo is awful
  12. One year, Philly was flying and NcNabb was breaking records until he got knocked out for the season. Another, TO got twisted up and wasn’t 100% in the Super Bowl. True about the Chris Jones play. Then again, if that’s a touchdown, I would bet on the Chiefs finishing that game with a game winning drive. Then at Baltimore, which I really liked the Bills chances. Then against SF. My point is every game that McDermott gets in the playoffs the odds of him screwing something up rises. He does worse with more chances. He’ll do worse with more chances. We’ll see this for as long as he’s here.
  13. Ask Ben Johnson.
  14. My solution is Ben Johnson. What’s yours?
  15. Special teams and defensive line.
  16. They lost at home in the playoffs the past two seasons. Having the 1 seed is not the answer at all.
  17. If he’s not conservative, then what is he? @Beast, that’s not the only quantitative measure of aggressiveness. And you point to something on offense no less.. Going for it on 4th down LESS, with JA17 on the field, would be absolutely a ‘fire him at halftime’ sort of offense.
  18. Hypothetically, if Subway were to hire Colin Kaepernick to do these spots, the NFL wouldn’t allow. Don’t you think?
  19. This whole game is going to come down to Brock Purdy’s performance. If he can escape the pocket, SF has a real chance to win tonight. But I don’t think they can overcome a subpar game by Purdy. Enter one Chris Jones. He’s been a favorite player of mine because I think he’s getting better and better each year. I think he’s Reggie White. And I think he knows he can ruin Purdy. And he’s going to do it. I got the Chiefs 31 - 23 49ers.
  20. So the NFL decides to accept that payment, correct?! And the contract is for the specific player, in this instance, Josh Allen. I’m not trolling per sé, but I admit I know nothing, and everything that I write is from me literally sitting on a couch. I like banter, and I’m okay with being called out for silly ideas 😊 I’m sure we both have greater talents *that hopefully pay the bills* outside of being willing posters on our favorite team’s message board ☺️ It’s all good, Weo. I enjoy the conversation, pretty much any conversation, about football‼️
  21. Hello. My name is thrivefourfive. Nice to finally meet you.
  22. NFL / \ / \ Subway — JA17 Yes. I think if the NFL didn’t like the Josh Allen brand, he doesn’t get his huge smiling head all over Super Bowl week pushing League blessed company advertisements. The biggest fast food chain in the country and one of the faces of the NFL do not organically collide during Super Bowl week (only!!!😂) without the NFL’s stamp of approval. Yes, absolutely.
  23. I hope we all like watching grass grow and paint dry. When is it going to be time to move on from this coach? I appreciate who he is, and what his MO is, but things are not pointing towards a Super Bowl victory with him at the helm. I could be mistaken, but I believe that McDermott’s biggest (and only?) adjustment to his conservative nature is calling a more aggressive game in the recent playoff loss to the Chiefs. I didn’t see it, but okay. That’s a painfully slow learning curve. At this pace, he may figure out how to actually call a WINNING game on Super Bowl Sunday sometime in the 2040s. How many more super quarterbacks and excellent HCs will come along during that time to put McDermott down every year… It is not happening with McDermott. He ended the drought, he got this franchise to a very consistent winning tier. But there are obvious limitations that he’ll most likely never overcome. It’s very very difficult to win a Super Bowl. A lot of things must align. You can’t have a head coach that is a liability when/if you ever get the chances to bring it all home. Every step of the way with McDermott he is always one or multiple steps behind what it takes to punch through. The longer he is here, the longer we wait (too patiently imo) for the trophy.
  24. Okay, back to a conversation. Thank you. I’ll accept being called a bullshitter, if you will. No, subway doesn’t pick and choose their endorsers without the NFL’s blessing. The NFL is ultimately pulling strings on every single second we see during Super Bowl week. I’m serious, Weo, this is an eleven figure business during its annual mega event in front of the world, how in the holy hell do they let anything take place that isn’t league blessed? If Josh spouted off about this and that, do you think the NFL would allow him to keep doing Subway ads?, even in the off season?! 😂 Gruden was fine until it was time to take down Snyder (because he was historically expendable [this was by far Goodell’s boldest move of his tenure] to cater to social trends…). Gruden embarrassed himself… and why do we know about it?? What do you got on Kaep? Love to hear it. Orchestrating basic ad placement interviews is not the same thing as fixing Super Bowl results…. really guys?
  25. Being silly. But an answer to your ridiculous question would be they have an Allen in the Super Bowl. Pat Mahomes plays the role very very well. The NFL is giddy.
