With MHJ, Nabers, and Odunze off the board, the Bills move to draft Bowers TE. What does this look like? Catch and run mismatch TEs on the field all the time. R2, get a WR. There is no question that the Bills hit WR HEAVY. They have no choice at all. The best ball player right now is Cook,,, then..? Shakir? Kincaid? Talk about unknowns considering this is a contender team, with a super young and inexperienced OC, and a defensive minded HC who is a liability to the offensive entity. What in the world would defenses do with Allen/Cook/Bowers/Kincaid/Legette/Samuel/ Mikey likesee

The Bills could be drawing attention to the kid so other teams do as well, pushing who the Bills really like one step closer to pick 28. Having top evaluators can allow organizations to play slicker poker with acquisitions, trades, drafts, contracts, etc.

I’m not digging up the details but Key to Tampa Bay. That WR got them a ring. Owens to Philly. Super Bowl appearance. Any relativity there? Big time WR going to a new team and the team having instant success.

NFL Opens 3rd Helmet Design to All Teams

BUT IF I WIN, REARDON. IF I WIN!!!! -
The Bills have a ton of picks this year, and their R1, R2, etc. An extra R2 next year (probably a good one). With cap space next year, and the need to bring in top cheap talent via draft this year. Don’t all signs point to trading up in the 2024 R1..?

21 Tompa Bays. Now that was a receiving core.

Don’t forget your chalk!

I read that in one sitting at Barnes. Still did not answer that crime for me. I need to go back and read the counter arguments for his son, Jason, doing it. The insight FOR was really good.

Yeah and now we have to search for his killer. Great. More to do.

I read that book! Interesting take on the case. And one that I could never rule out,,, because what the hell do I know.

My dad would tell me he’d sit on those benches in December to “watch OJ run”, even though the Bills Suck!” (to quote my mom). Kinda a thing sticks with a kid.

After week 6..?? Harty sucked. It’s what it is. And maybe we don’t need his one and only contribution if Josh had a WR core he deserves, and some guys could hold onto touchdown drops.

Which WR can visit “the zone” more often, if at all? When we watch Hill go crazy, and Chase and Jefferson do it, they are in that zone. When they’re not, they look a little more NFL human. Still really good. I think Jefferson gets in a takeover the offense zone. Chase gets in takeover the game zone. And Hill, I don’t even know what that is. He’s up there with Barry Sanders. So a guy like Coleman, does he have that in him? Does Legette? Will Brian Thomas Jr. do something like Torrey Smith and look spectacular a few times and be an enigma his whole career? I can see Nabers being an unstoppable monster. Just too big, strong, fast, and mean to deal with at times. Odunze smoothly racking up 10 catch 150 yard games, leaving the defense with nothing more than a “damn, nice game, Rome” admission of helplessness. And MHJ catching a bunch of balls, but struggling on YAC and explosive plays to be considered more than Michael Thomas. Again, just my take.

Thanks for the heads up. I checked the YouTubes and he looks like a joystick runner. Very fun. Hope he gets that top gear back from the leg injury. Read the combine report. His grade is 5.80-5.99 Average backup or special-teamer. But that’s probably if he doesn’t regain what he had pre injury. Okay, cool name to keep an eye on. (Of course he’ll be in the AFC. They’re all in the AFC.) Anquan Boldin? He’s stout. The hips are tight though. I read that and I agree after watching.

The criticism of Josh Allen
Thrivefourfive replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
We don’t want Josh to dip when that opportunity presents itself. Something is going to have to happen in a Bills uniform very soon for him to feel like he’s got a foot in the ground of this city and football community. I don’t think he’s there yet, so that’s an unknown that itches me. Obviously, a Super Bowl win and we’re all happy. But if he doesn’t have some unique game or season or playoff win, or a streak or something more than what’s already been a brilliant statistical career,, I’m a little concerned. What’s going to make him say that he wants to retire a Buffalo Bill? If he goes 15 years without a Super Bowl win here in Buffalo, I’ll be okay because the alternative would be quarterback searching. Basically, I want Josh to get this done. And I don’t want a lack of appreciation from true Bills fans to screw that up. -
He’s the reason I have zero confidence in the Bills offensive creativity and capability to utilized specific, unique players’ abilities. Hopefully Brady surprises me and makes the offense look simple again. Hasn’t happened since the 2020 season as far as I’m concerned.

Our guy has to be a great runner after the catch. That’s the cherry on top. I think that’s what breaks a defensive. Sick of catch and dive guys like Diggs. Hopkins would drive me nuts because I don’t even think he could run 20 yards, it’s like he catches the ball and then just looks to dive. I would give a great ball runner an extra notch. Just a personal thing.

When are we going to realize the Bills have NOTHING at WR1 or WR2? Shakir is a nice WR3 right now, with potential to be a nicer WE3. Samuel isn’t to be relied upon when evaluating the roster for a draft. The Bills NEED one of the top three guys more than the risk of the sixth or worse ranked WR in this draft. God only knows how long this staff will take to bring along a late first round WR.. Higgins and Aiyuk are not top ten WR1s. So where is our Hill, Chase, Jefferson coming from..? Probably the top half of a round 1. May as well go get a sure thing NOW. I’m seeing Odunze #1, Nabers #2, and MHJ #3. I’d call that value if Nabers or Odunze are there after MHJ is taken.

They’re all smooth. The whole lot of them. From Rice to Swann, to Warfield. The guys today all have that silk factor. They’re not surprised that they caught it. How many receivers make the catch and then pause, then go. They’re fast. They’re fearless. Antonio Brown. He would not, and may never, be drafted in the top of a draft. Being a ruthless mauler for the football doesn’t really pop on draft boards. The next Antonio Brown is around, and the Bills should be the one to find him. Hopefully this future hall of famer will have his brain pointing the right direction inside his skull.

Poyer talks about 13 seconds
Thrivefourfive replied to JakeFrommStateFarm's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is what pisses me off most with McD. It was the defense that fails. It’s the offensive that does their job, and is primed to go out and do it again if given another chance. The defense and special teams failed four times when it mattered most and the defensive head coach should’ve been the “genius” is thinks he is. Just a mess and a joke of a scenario. -
He’s not a WR1 because he’s slow. He’s an awesome football player and an asset to any team. He’d be misused as a 1. No team schemes better than SF except KC, so anywhere else, BA11 will be less than what he is now. As a 2, his skills and uniqueness shine. Sure, you can force the ball to a slower, solid, disgruntled WR, but let’s not run that one back just yet.
