Also think we’ll have to look at RB differently so this sorta thing is prepped for. Or maybe it already is.. Draft an RB and expect to either pay him after year three, or have a plan to deal with the upcoming royal rumble

Trading Cook. I’d feel pretty empty if that goes down this weekend

Hunter can absolutely play 10 offense snaps for the Bills. Not that hard.. like a special teamer. And if the Bills are that good, he doesn’t play full games hopefully. I don’t consider that as a negative in this Carter vs Hunter scenario. Actually it’s a plus for Hunter. But I still want Carter more.

Those guys are supposed to be workhorses. If it’s Cook compared to those two RBs, I can’t believe an NFL team would choose Cook, not taking into account the money. These are top picks we’re talking here. Hypothetically if Cook were in this draft, and teams already knew of Cook’s NFL success ((and limitations and the inside story to all those TDs)) not a team takes Cook over the other two players. They’re a tier above and are being drafted like it. Then the money.. age.. wear. If tables were turned, would we want the Bills to acquire Cook instead of (probably stupidly) drafting Jeanty and Hampton? If my GM was dead set on drafting one of those two guys, I wouldn’t want to trade for a more expensive Cook as a “better deal”.

Why would either of the two rumored RB draft teams—Raiders and Cowboys—choose to pay an RB, Cook, who’s not as good as the cheap guy they’re about to draft 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Why???

Would like to know where the board stands on who should the Bills draft (huge if I know) if they had these two players in front of them Thursday night.

Catch 22. I’m not scared of him vs the Bills so he can stay put for all I care. Probably also makes the Phins worse if he leaves. Then there’s the: it’s the correct move for the organization (and Hill leaving) and I don’t like seeing that at all.

Can we all agree that there’s no jump from #30 to #4? There would be a few steps in between.. 30 to 20 to 10 to whatever. That’s how it happens.

Is he worth what? He’s not a problem. is he worth the money? What money? His idea for a contract, or what he should be paid? I think he’s worth a three/four year deal. At this point, I don’t care if Beane gives him at extra $10mil over that deal, if that’s what it takes. Again, Beane can’t in the franchise by paying Cook. But I’m guessing Beane will get him something he’s happy with. I’m not going to project on whether the money goes to his head. Just don’t want to go there.

Kelly held his own. That wasn’t an easy locker room. Nobody ever questioned who the Bills quarterback was, and tried to kick him out the door and rebuild with a big draft day splash. He was used up when he retired, but it says a lot I think that the Bills were at home in the playoffs and a decent favorite for his very last game. The game as a mess and ended his career, but I think he gets some nice bonus points for that, and not having two abysmal seasons end his career, which seriously could’ve happened in Buffalo. We’ll see with how Josh’s career.. Jimbo was.. kinda George Washingtonesque doing is a favorite and walking away. We had one Todd Collins season and then were right back with Johnson/Flutie/Defense.

Newly hired special teams coach comes in and dismantles the points division of the ST. That man better have a plan besides a draftee and/or Matt Gay. We’re not the Browns here.

Our guys did things to IMPROVE their games—That’s not allowed in the NFL. Wife beatin’ makes a player lesser. So it’s full steam ahead.

If you have four 2nd round picks, you’re probably getting guys who belong in the 2nd round 3/4ths the time, at best. Factor in Beane. I’m not sure what to think of Beane having more R2 picks, or even R1 picks. He’ll pick some average 2nd rounders.. and maybe a good one?

Just don’t think you can do this unless for a QB. How does the player ever live up to those expectations. Even hall of fame careers, like Julio Jones… if you never win a ring. I wouldn’t make that trade. Being so close, don’t sell the farm for one uncertain player in the draft. Especially a corner. That’s just ridiculous. Can honestly say the move to be made was for Garrett. That’s it. I just think his level of dominance, at that position , for this team, would have been a “you cannot not make that trade”.
