  1. Are you suggesting that stadiums should stop serving alcohol at games? I don't understand your point. I've never seen someone vomit in the aisles at a game. Certainly a possibility but that doesn't necessarily put anyone at risk or affect the game on the field as a laser pointer would.
  2. Haha, IKE IS THE MAN! I actually love listening to him on these episodes. He is great at it. It's obvious why they have been consistently using him on the show. He actually makes me want to tune in. On the other hand...Lee Smith is hard to listen to...not sure why they have him on there so much.
  3. I just watched the replay last night. The offense was BRUTAL in that game. We were lucky to win. Rodgers' bad day was 2 unlucky tipped balls that Rambo picked off and Jordy Nelson dropping that long ball. Our secondary did do a lot for us. Robey, Brooks, Graham & Gilmore really stood out as being blankets that day. Graham is one of the better recent additions by Whaley. I hope Robey and Brooks make the team and have a lot more games like they did vs. Green Bay.
  4. I thought the same thing. Especially for a kid from West Bloomfield, MI.
  5. Glad he was caught red handed...what an idiot. I'm also glad that they revoked the owners season tickets because that makes a great example out of the situation. I'm also glad Carpenter hit that bomb at the end of the game. I don't know how they can be sure he never attends a game in the future though...seems like it would be difficult to do.
  6. EJ should watch what Big Ben did to the Colts last season....and do that.
  7. I think our schedule is GREAT! I can't think of a better mix of these teams that we play other than maybe Cowboys right after our bye. We have to play all of these teams eventually. I'm curious what you would prefer?
  8. I usually have an unrealistic amount of hope and positive attitude going into every season. I have high hopes this year considering everything that has changed, however, one thing I've learned over the years is that looking good on paper doesn't mean a whole lot. If EJ doesn't maintain the way I think he will (or TT some how)...this season will EASILY disappoint. Prepare yourselves for anything. If they don't get it done this year everyone's inner fan-hood WILL be tested.
  9. I feel the same way. I think EJ is smart enough and has enough of the tools necessary to help the team win some big games for us. This season will come down to coaching.
  10. Maturity. Watching Fred interview is like watching adults have a conversation...Shady not so much. I know this isn't a productive convo to have so I'll just accept that he's our guy
  11. Watching Freddy interview > watching Shady interview Is it just me? I know its not relevant...what they put on the field is relevant. But man is it hard to watch him talk to people.
  12. Sal Capaccio ‏@SalSports5 minutes ago EJ was good in 2 minute offense. Looked confident. Made a couple big throws down field with some other short stuff. Remember that Panthers game? Cool as a cucumber in the last 2 minutes. Having that kind of confidence is a big plus.
  13. Sal Capaccio4 minutes ago Kim Pegula is also here today. #Bills EJ is turning it on because he knew Kim was going to there today
  14. That was my point earlier. It's hard to get a sense when we're just reading tweets but I would imagine that the 1st team D could be a little too disruptive for young QBs learning the new system. probably pros and cons to both scenarios.
  15. For all of the EJ being inaccurate talk (which was noticeable with intermediate passes), I've always thought he is pretty darn good at putting the ball on the money with the long ball. I always think of that deep ball to Sammy against the Dolphins week 2 last season that hit Sammy right in the hands but he was covered pretty well and wasn't able to hang on to it...
  16. If you were the coach would you think it would be more productive for the offense that's learning a new system to practice against our 1st team D or 2nd/3rd team? Edit: Or maybe it doesn't make a huge difference in terms of properly learning the new system...
  17. He could have GRABBED THE BALL. I know it's easier said than done but...there are a lot of plays I watch where it seems the DLine guy should just grab the rock instead of the QB.
  18. A lot of players have a lot to prove but EJ Manuel has the most to prove. Over.
