1) Yeah, 1st and goal at the 3/5 and we end up going for a few passes blew my mind, we had a successful drive that had some solid runs, and their front seven were gassed. The first run wasn't successful, so we immediately abandoned it for the pass. Made no damned sense.
2) And again, why abandon the pass with 2:40 left, and the Bengals without timeouts? If we don't get a first, at the very least we can let the clock run down to the 2 minute warning. Instead we gave them 30 extra seconds and a clock stoppage for their offense.
Both were terrible decisions by Lynn, and hopefully Rex or someone gives him a stern lecture about it, because you do not win football games on a regular basis by giving teams opportunities like that.
I'm not the biggest Rex fan, I but I do get his ground and pound philosophy, and I think this team can win if the coaching staff commits to it.
That's why the play calls you mention drive me crazy about this coaching staff.
If you claim to be a running team, and you spent the picks and acquired players to be a running team, you should call runs in key game situations. And I don't mean Reggie Bush option running plays, I mean Spencer Felton crash the middle running plays.

Defenses are getting smaller and faster. One way to take advantage of that is to put bigger blockers on the field and run guys over.
-
Wagner looks like somebody kicked his dog.

I'm missing Tyler Thigpen.

Offensive line is killing it tonight
-
Stumble off Sherman
-
That spot is short.
-
D line is actually playing pretty good.
I agree. I don't know why Rex keeps blitzing.
-
The offical was over the ball with 2 seconds on the clock WTF
-
How about running a crack-back block on Sherman.
-
Lose our kicker on a missed personal foul call. Perfect end to the half.

Haven't seen anyone blame TT at all.
He's the only one making plays out there, but whatever crusader.
-
Looks like Rob Ryan has pulled out his New Orleans playbook from last season.
-
Just bench Gilmore.
-
Yet another game where the defense can't hang.
-
After watching 8 games, how many more time will Rex and Rob put these corners on an island? They have to see that Gilmore and Darby can't handle it by now, right?
-
There's Rex's defense. Built for shutdown corners when the Bills have none.
-
One game makes a legacy???
Are you talking about Reich? He had more than one good game.
-
So we should aspire to a tebow game plan for TT? We're !@#$ed =/
What else do they got going for them this season? EJ throwing pick sixes all over the field? Tate posting 150 yards receiving? Clay staying healthy an entire game?
Put him on the edge, play the option, and try to hit 175 yards rushing every game. Hope that Rob and Rex don't over-coach themselves into another nuclear meltdown on defense.
And if that doesn't work, start Jones the last three or four games of the season.

You cannot be serious about Dak tonight ... just admit it. Youre assuming and not really watching.??
Philadelphia leads 23-13. Dak is 8 for 19 for 152 yards with a rushing TD. 48.6 rating. He also has thrown an interception in an end zone. What am I missing?

Ok here's the problem with tyrod: he needs everything else around him to work to rise to the level of average. That's it in a nutshell . He can't be the engine of victory, only a part of it.
Here's my take. The Bills need to run the ball and play strong defense to win. If they gain around 200 yard passing, 150+ yards rushing, protect the ball and the defense doesn't blow up, they have a good chance of winning.
Problem is that the coaching staff cannot be relied on to follow that plan. They should be calling 30 runs and they call 30 passes. Tyrod is not good enough to win in that situation.
Their best shot for accomplishing anything this year is the Tebow plan that Denver followed when they made the playoffs.

Tyrod is a quality back up QB. I like him, but no way is he a franchise guy. Now I'm watchi,g Prescott, 4th rounder, looking like the real deal. We just can't judge QB talent.
There's still some time to go, but the Cowboys are down by 10 and Prescott threw an interception in the end zone. Not saying he can't lead him back, but if he doesn't the calls for Romo's return are going to be loud in Dallas

You mad? You seem mad. Go worship your TT fathead you'll feel better.
Dude, you seem to be down by four right now.

Tissue mrs. Taylor?
Tampon mrs. Losman?
Thank god Mike Nugent is crappier than Tyrod
