  1. Yeah, if this is his plan, it's a horrible one. But Bills fans should take comfort in knowing that the Bills will be competitive again sometime "in the future."
  2. Well the national narrative through the weekend will be that the Bills have equaled the Browns in dysfunction and are run by rubes. Buffalo better beat Denver this weekend, because if they don't, this season is going to get dark fast.
  3. Not really. Coming into the game they held both Carolina and Seattle under 200 yards passing. They were allowing around 125 rushing yards per game. They gave up 35 points in their first two games. So, not great, but not awful.
  4. The stats cited for the former Bills WRs come from tonight's game only. Not 3 games. The current Bills stats come from the two games the Bills have played this year. So it's the former Bills one-game stats vs the current Bills two-game stats.
  5. I'm not a fan of Irvin or Faulk as commentators, but both were on superbowl winning teams that were loaded with talent. To those guys, letting Woods walk and trading Watkins makes absolutely no sense. Beane and McDermott better prove themselves to be ninjas, because the league's perception of them right now is that they're a couple of amateurs who are in over their heads.
  6. Woods and Watkins just legitimized the Rams rebuild on national TV. Buffalo scored 3 points last week. What did you expect them to say, 'The Rams just got 200 yards and 2 TDs from the Buffalo Bills former WRs, making their shakey 2nd year QB look legit, but man, that McBeane is really playing chess when everybody else is playing checkers.'
  7. They should probably check him out too. That hit was vicious.
  8. So how fat is Michael Irvin planning to get?
  9. Numerous bad reasons.
  10. Watkins. What a diva.
  11. Gurley looked like a bust last season, averaging under 3 yards a carry. The Rams go out and get their young QB some talented WRs in the off season, and now Gurley has more room to run. It's early, but Gurley looks like an all pro runner again.
  12. Dez Bryant, Julio Jones, OBJ, and Demaryius Thomas all fall into that same category. And you don't see their teams turning chicken-s##t and trading them. And if you're worried about injuries, McBeane is riding a 29 year old RB until he pukes every game. At Shady's age, Watkins would have been the better player.
  13. Slow and steady wins the race.
  14. He's an elite talent. He would have been the best player on offense. If he's healthy, the floor is 1100 yards and 9 TDs. And McCoy wouldn't be facing 8 men in the box every week.
  15. Now Goodwin gets into the act.
  16. Seriously? If Watkins is healthy, he's having a good year. Doesn't matter who his QB is.
  17. Sammy with the TD. Ex-Bills WRs have 200+ yards tonight.
  18. Especially his GM, HC, and OC.
  19. Yes, but with more touchdowns.
  20. Denver is going to kill us.
  21. McDermott is the head coach. If there's an issue with Dennison and the offense, then there is an issue with McDermott.
  22. Yeah, I think I'm going to have a problem wasting this defense on a tank season. Hughes, Humber, Alexander, and Williams will all be over 30 next year (some waaaay over 30). Their time is now. Whatever the mess with Tyrod, I'm in the camp that the coaching staff has to figure it out. Because wasting this defense would be another kick in the groin to long suffering Bills fans.
  23. Um, you're not the boss of me!
  24. You don't consider Steve Grogan, Tony Eason, or Doug Flutie great QBs?
