  1. What is ridiculous is you believing that opinions and/or attitudes of fans affects the outcome of the games. The game is played on the field, not on message board. Absolutely asinine statement. I am not convincing myself of anything. Its simply my belief that without a good QB, in today's NFL, odds are you are not winning the SB. It's not complicated actually. The Bills are doing the best they can out of a ****** situation.
  2. Who says I'm not pumped ? I believe we'll make the playoffs this year, and we might even win our 1st round game. I am pumped about that ! All I'm saying is that IMO, without a good/great QB, we are not winning the big one. BTW, hate to say it but Sanchez in those 2 years was better than what we have at QB right now. This might be true, but it only enhances my point about having a good QB.
  3. We could have HOF players at every single position, without a good QB, it means squat. Besides a few exceptions ( BAL with Dilfer comes to mind ), winning in the playoffs requires a top guy at the helm. Having said that, I like what the Bills are doing seeing no good QB is/was available this year.
  4. The only valid argument is that Tannehill is better than any of our QB. I doubt that it's enough to put the fins in a position to be above the Bills overall or to compete with NE.
  5. Stop it !! You make way to much sense !!
  6. I haven't seen the clutch factor at all with EJ. That's my biggest issue with him. Over throwing open receivers by 5 yards or throwing 5 yards out of bounds is not clutch in my eyes. You say his issue is the mental aspect. Well, being clutch is ALL mental.
  7. No, it's not. It's simply my opinion. I do not think that EJ is or will ever be better than Tannehill. If I'm wrong, great ! It would mean the Bills are doing good. To be clear, I don't think Tannehill is a very good QB. I just think that EJ is worst. Hopefully, he proves me wrong. Go Bills!
  8. Make that 10 years..They'll win the division again as long as Brady stays upright and BB runs the show.Doesn't matter who else is on that team. It just happens when you have one of GOATs at QB and Head Coach. Bills will get in as a WC. NE: 12-4 BUF: 10-6 MIA: 8-8 New Jersey: 8-8 AFCE is going to be a blood bath.
  9. I can't believe some 50 people would actually say no to this trade. Tannehill >> EJ. He would make us a definite playoff contender while with EJ, it's only about 25% IMO.
  10. Cassel. He's our best option. Don't think EJ has it ( time to move on ) and don't know enough about Taylor. If I'm wrong about EJ, I'll gladly eat some crow. Unfortunately, I just don't see the potential anymore.
  11. OK..This made me Lol'd....Clever work !!
  12. Don't know why, but I love this analogy. Great work Sir !
  13. NE is better then Indy. So are the Bills. Indy's run defense is Swiss cheese. McCoy will have a blast against them. I say # 1 NE, # 2 Den, # 3 Bal, # 4 Bills, # 5 Colts.
  14. Not to rain on this parade, but Brady played pretty well against Detroit last year and NE destroyed them. Getting there quick is not enough because of Brady's quick release. Need pressure AND good DB's. Hopefully for the Fins, Grimes will have a good year.
  15. Brady and Belichick are still there, so no, I will not bank it. Once they leave, then it's wide open. Our Bills will , however, get a WC spot this year. Watch NE go to the AFC Championship game for a 4th season in a row.Hopefully for the last time in the Brady era.
  16. I've actually been waiting since 2004. I really thought they were done then. They have the best coach and best QB in the league. Until that changes, NE is the team to beat in the East if not the entire AFC. We do this every year, and every year we are proven wrong. It will end when Brady leaves in another 2 years. ( Hopefully )
  17. Remember when they let Mankins go last year. We were all proclaiming that it would bite them in the butt. Didn't exactly turned out that way.
  18. Voted NO. I simply think he does not have it . Does that mean I'm rooting against him? Not at all. I would gladly eat some crow if I'm wrong. Unfortunately, I don't think I am. We need to move on from EJ.
  19. I think they let McCourty go and keep Revis. Gotskowsky was actually a smart tag. He is very good. They did the same thing with Vinatieri IIRC.
  20. From what I've seen so far, I voted NO. Could it change ? Of course.
  21. I voted Pats, but deep down, I hate the Jets and Dolphins more and we actually beat them once in a while. The Patriots have been kicking our butts every year for the last 15 years. It's not really a rivalry. They treat us like their annoying little brother from another mother. Hopefully, it changes soon.
  22. Whats really sad is for the vast majority of " average Joes ", the Pats are an awesome team and the best dynasty ever. Hard core football fans ( people who actually join message board etc..) disagree, but in the grand scheme of things, we are the minority. Both BB and Brady will be 1st ballot HOF and NE will be remembered as a great team by them. People who follow football just once in a while have no clue and there's more of them than hardcore fans.
  23. Can you imagine if the outcome of the investigation is that the Colts tampered with the 1 ball...The NFL would have to kiss NE's rings for years. The fact now that it's only 1 out of the 12 that was seriously low changes everything. And the fact that it's the one the Colts had makes it even more interesting. Would the Colts be fined and/or lose picks ?
  24. That T-Shirt was made by a fan and given to Blount during the parade. He didn't go out and print those himself. Don't get me wrong, I think Blount is an ***, but the Seahawks deserve a little payback in my book .
