I am more concerned about the steroids. He played LT in the Superbowl and for the Vikings. http://www.drafthistory.com/articles/article44.html http://archive.profootballweekly.com/conte..._min_082100.asp

I know his all pro days are behind him but I wouldn't mind seeing this guy wearing the red, white, and blue. Cap room would also be a question. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2118489

Sarcasm can sometimes be difficult to see in the written form but it was pretty clear to me. -

Have you ever heard of sarcasm? My respect for Dolphins fan's sense of humor has dropped through the floor. Wait a minute, you are Dolphins’ fan. You must have a great sense of humor. -

The discussion was in the Superbowl Era. Weren't most of those guys either retired or on the decline during Superbowl III and V? -
why travis was not traded to the jags

In the end, I don't think the deal for any 2nd rounder is real and is all spin. -

I disagree that the Titans 3rd is a better deal thean the Jags 2nd. It could be 5 but that is really pushing it. Assuming the Titans are the 2nd worst team in the NFL, the Jags would have to make it to the AFC Championship game for it to be 5. It is unlikely the Titans will be that bad and the Jags will be that good. It is more likely to be 15 spots or maybe more (which is a lot). As far as us facing each other in the playoffs, you have to assume one of us wins the division for that to happen. It could happen but both teams have to climb over tough competition to make that happen. The 2nd rounder is the better deal. I just don't think it was every real. -

Henry has been available since before draft day. Donahoe has said all along he wanted a 2nd rounder. When he didn't get it, he lowered the price to a 3rd rounder. For the last few weeks, it has been either the Titans or the Jags. Jacksonville had to know that if the Bills had to choose which team to get a 3rd from it was going to be the Titans. The only way they were going to get Henry for sure is to give up a 2nd rounder. So, Jacksonville gambled that the Titans wouldn't give up the pick and they lost. Now, there are claims that there was an "11th hour offer of a 2nd rounder" and it sounds like complete BS. Are we supposed to believe we would not take a 2nd round pick because the Jags are so scary good? Even though TH doesn't have a long term deal in place with the Titans (and he did with the Jags). This is purely PR and spin from the Jaguars. They wanted to see if the Bills would blink first and we didn’t. -

Going to Chicago with the wife...
ndmanley replied to EndZoneCrew's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bad things happen in any city (especially a large one like Chicago). I was down there this weekend and you could not feel any safer. This was truly an isolated incident. I am shocked there was an incident last year. There were nearly one million people down there this weekend. The nice thing about Chicago is the tourist areas are very safe. I just wish Buffalo would have developed their downtown like Chicago. -

If you are in the city, then you should go here. I have been there before. http://www.barsonline.com/chicago/delilahs/main.htm Now, I am in the suburbs and there were a few bars but they are just sports bars and not Bills' bars. With the Sunday ticket, I don't go out as much for games. -

All good suggestions. A couple of corrections and some more suggestions. The taste of Chicago ends after 4th of July weekend. The fireworks at Navy Pier are only on Wednesday and Saturday night (10:15). Go to the Cubby Bear or Murphy's before the game. The Cubby Bear is across the street from Wrigley and Murphy's is across the street behind the center field wall. Try to take the Red Line Train to Wrigley (or some other public transportation). Don't worry. It is safe. Parking is bad. The whole area around the Shedd aquarium is great to walk and to bike (especially in the summer). Soldier Field is near there. Try a boat tour. You can usually get one on Michigan Avenue near the Wrigley building or at Navy Pier. I you like steak, try Morton’s, Gibson’s, or (my favorite) The Chicago Chop House. They are pricey but good. I will be at the Friday game against the DBacks with some Buffalo buddies. Have a great time! -
Should Frank Reich make the Wall of Fame?

No. And no one from your list should be on the wall. The only guy that is debatable is Bennett. -
Call me a conspiracy theorist but isn't this pageant owned by Trump? His new wife is a brunette and he has been divorced from two blondes. Hmmm!!!!!

More Ground Zero/West Side Stadium talk
ndmanley replied to duey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe on this issue Silver is right. However, he is a downstate jag off, who has stuck it to WNY many times. -
I am happy to see him get into the college HOF. He deserves it. I cannot say the same about his NFL career. He was a good to very good linebacker but he wasn’t great. He had great moments (like his first game). He played on a defense that was average (and sometimes worse than average). As we all know, we didn’t win the Superbowl and that will reflect negatively on voters. Plus, he had off the field issues (which technically should not effect voting but does). He just wasn't pro football HOF material. I really hope Reed and Hull get in because they deserve it and more than Biscuit.

Serious Question From An Eagles Fan

I look back with fondness and I really can appreciate it now. Those teams were loaded with talent and provided a ton of fun. That being said, I would trade it all for just one win!
