  1. Get a lead and hammer the crap out of Rodgers - Simple!!
  2. Agreed - Think I'd like to see a pass for our first offensive play of the game (short/simple).
  3. Johnson on O and Carter on D (i.e., I'm going with the presidential names!)
  4. That's actually my biggest concern for Monday night: Will Josh get abused to the point where it threatens this season (and beyond)? In a way, for different reasons, both teams' fans should be very worried about the health of their QBs Monday night.
  5. Anything can happen but I expect a relatively low-scoring slugfest with a lot of big plays on defense by both teams. Concerned Allen won't get into a comfortable groove. But the Jets aren't a very good team overall. So I'm going with Bills 23 Jets 16 [lots of field goals!]
  6. He has every right not to share the details of his health with the world.
  7. He came extremely close to throwing one or two against Houston - He/we got very lucky.
  8. And he should rightfully be pissed off at the coaches for putting him in that position - A lot of woe can be traced back to that one play!
  9. When you're throwing from your own end zone and facing a lot of pressure all day, I can understand not throwing deep balls b/c you risk a sack. And even a hand off running play could be risky (given we'd been stuffed a number of times). That's why at least one QB sneak (on first down) to burn time/force timeout would have been a good start. And maybe we gain 2-3 yards and get more breathing room? And then either another QB sneak or play action pass on 2nd down? And to be clear, my philosophy at that point in the game is to get to OT. We were on our own 3 yard line! No need to try to win the game from that spot/situation. No need to do anything fancy. Just try to move the ball a bit and either get a first down or at least kill clock//make them use multiple time outs.
  10. He's been so bad (in his rare opportunities). Very disappointed with his play. Thought he was supposed to be a dynamic playmaker? He's done nothing at all.
  11. OK, then don't play him at all. Just weird to me that the rare instances when he's in a play, it's a completely worthless play. And he doesn't look to have anything of value to add.
  12. Samuels, e.g., has been a complete disaster - He has had zero impact. He looks slow and crappy.
  13. If the Jets lose in the morning, I'll be much more relaxed for our game @ 1!
  14. Off: Cook; Def: Von - Oops, I meant Oliver, Oops, I meant T. Johnson, Oops, I really meant Rousseau?!?!
  15. I didn't say you made that comparison, my friend. All good!
  16. Fair points - Maybe my main point got lost in translation a bit - Mixon (in a vacuum) is not nearly on par with Henry in my view. But I totally agree that an effective Texans ground game would be concerning. Career stats also favor Henry pretty resoundingly.
  17. Mixon is good not great - Not really on the same level as Henry in my view - And he may not even play. What also made Henry extra deadly is Lamar's running ability - A two-headed dragon. We'll see but I don't think Mixon will be the difference maker in this game if he plays.
  18. Not feeling great about this one but I think we squeeze out a win and get back on track. 30-27
  19. Excellent post, thanks!!
  20. Maybe Darnold working out with Josh in the offseason (I understand they're close friends and live on same street or something) has helped him a lot? It's just a wild guess but could be a factor in his improvement.
  21. Jets are good . . . at sh@tting the bed.
  22. Jets lose AND Rodgers got hit a lot and seems "wobbly" . . .
  23. Bills 27 Ravens 17
  24. I'm close to the Jungle but thankfully not in it tonight or really ever . . . i.e., I'm in greater Cincinnati!
