Great intro for this game day thread!! My son and I will do our part today to scream our heads off and make things as tough as possible for the Rave Inz. They and their fans can all blow me! Haven't been to a home game in ages - Son and I doing the Yellow Brick lots tailgating. But since we're coming from out of town and don't have portable grill, etc. we'll just bring food and adult beverages. Such a difficult game to predict - Almost anything is possible, including a Bills blowout. I think the home crowd, weather, Bills record at home, playoff Josh tip the scale modestly in our favor. Bills 34, Ravens 24. PS, this will be the first home Bills games I've attended in years - Driving in from Cincinnati. Go Bills!!

Not sure why you're getting so deeply into a discussion of draft picks/Beane's decisions/defensive line hits and misses in a thread supposedly focused on the Bills Ravens game. Whenever the offseason starts, we'll all have literally months and months to do this thoroughly!! Why now, my friend, when you likely know it's going to piss a lot of people off and is going astray from the main purpose of this thread IMHO?

But it should be closely related to the betting public's perception of who is going to win - If goal is to have 50% on each side of the bet, the line needs to be just right to convince folks on both sides that it's a reasonable bet. I'm not a sport bettor, so maybe I have this wrong, but I've always viewed the betting lines as something close to the true line (and the betting lines are often very similar to the non-betting lines like they show on ESPN NFL website).

I would definitely defer if possible unless extenuating circumstances. The crowd will be going nuts and maybe we get an early stop and set the tone? Even if they score (e.g., Broncos game), it's not the end of the world.

Can he be our emergency emergency QB?! Love it! Perfect representation of current Bills team. Getting the most out of yourself, being the underdog and having a lot of heart/grit.

2 hours until game time - Let's do this! We have the horses to knock the crap out of the donkeys. Just play soundly on both sides of the ball and special teams - We are by and large a team of a lot of good/very good players that are not household names, hence not tons of accolades but who cares about that? If that can be used as extra motivation, great, but no one has beaten us in our house this year and that will continue today. Punch them in the mouth and then punch them in the mouth harder! Never relent and always go all out and crush them!! LFG!! Go Bills!!

Over our kids' winter break, we spent time in Palm Springs and then Hollywood Hills and visited the Santa Monica Pier, etc. First time spending any significant amount of time in So CA. Such a beautiful and unique area and shockingly tragic what's happening there now. Thoughts and prayers to anyone impacted by this! And message me if there's anything tangible that I can do to help.
