We would have done better than the Chiefs, but at best, it would have been a coin flip/down to the wire type of game. In my view, the Eagles are a better, more well rounded version of the Ravens. Not a great matchup for us, and we'd need some breaks. But there's no way our O line would have been shredded, and I think we'd be more committed to running the ball/slowing the game down.

I don’t like that this game is on the road. That said, Bills have played extremely well lately without Josh needing to go off. I expect a close back and forth stressful game unfortunately. Haven't been to a home game in ages - Son and I doing the Yellow Brick lots tailgating. But since we're coming from out of town and don't have portable grill, etc. we'll just bring food and adult beverages. Such a difficult game to predict - Almost anything is possible, including a Bills blowout. I think the home crowd, weather, Bills record at home, playoff Josh tip the scale modestly in our favor. Bills 34, Ravens 24. PS, this will be the first home Bills games I've attended in years - Driving in from Cincinnati. Go Bills!!

Not sure why you're getting so deeply into a discussion of draft picks/Beane's decisions/defensive line hits and misses in a thread supposedly focused on the Bills Ravens game. Whenever the offseason starts, we'll all have literally months and months to do this thoroughly!! Why now, my friend, when you likely know it's going to piss a lot of people off and is going astray from the main purpose of this thread IMHO?

But it should be closely related to the betting public's perception of who is going to win - If goal is to have 50% on each side of the bet, the line needs to be just right to convince folks on both sides that it's a reasonable bet. I'm not a sport bettor, so maybe I have this wrong, but I've always viewed the betting lines as something close to the true line (and the betting lines are often very similar to the non-betting lines like they show on ESPN NFL website).

I would definitely defer if possible unless extenuating circumstances. The crowd will be going nuts and maybe we get an early stop and set the tone? Even if they score (e.g., Broncos game), it's not the end of the world.
