Fed Ex Air player of the Week
ProcessAccepted replied to Warcodered's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah totally worthless award but I still want him to win it 😂 -
I really don't think Daboll is in a rush for a HC job. The dude is patient and strategic. He'll move on for the right job with the necessary support from ownership and suitable GM. The Jets just don't fit that description. I'm sure from working with Belichick he understands that passing on the Jets probably is the right move.

Best All Time Backup QB's

I would have thought coming in and winning a SB would have gotten Foles and Hostetler on a list that included Todd Collins. On a side note when I saw the pic below my first reaction was I didn't know Woody Harrelson was a backup QB.- 10 replies

We've dodged a bullet twice this season between the Raiders and the Chargers games. -

He's a rally nice guy but I agree that we need a better backup. I live in Atlanta and I've a kick at UGA so I've seen a lot of Fromm's games. When we drafted him I let out and audible "No". There's better backup talent out there than both. We need a better backup for Josh. -

I'm just wondering just how far Bass and Bojo will be able to kick the ball in that air -
Agree with a side of chasing the #2 seed. We will need all 3 games.

I always wondered the same thing when Jack Del Rio was there coach. Ownership may have a blind spot when it comes to coaching evaluation. -
Buffalo clinched a playoff birth tonight?

It a typical year I'd be yelling at you for saying what you said above. Too many times watching the team find ways to lose (like Willie freaking Parker running all over us in '04) This year I've thrown out the superstitions. This team knows how to win. That drive on Sunday after the Steelers scored in the second half was proof. I know we only got 3 points but moved it back to 2 scores. Then the clock devouring run the ball football for the last 7 minutes. How are ESPN etc still sleeping on the Bills. “At Buffalo, we drafted many players from the south and people thought I was biased,” said Nix, now 80 and retired in Chattanooga. “I would tell them it’s like fishing. You find a lake to fish that has good fish in it.” https://dothaneagle.com/eufaula_tribune/news/nix-fondly-recalls-first-head-coaching-stop-at-eufaula/article_069435b0-6b01-5738-b9fd-e13f75cb9355.html -
Kubiak on Bills-49ers
ProcessAccepted replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I heard numerous former QBs comment on that throw. They all say the reason you don't see other QBs throw that ball in that situation is because they are not able to. There's only 2 or 3 QBs in the league that can make that throw. -
After watching #17 wipe the floor with the 49ers on MNF I'm amazed how the Bills developed Josh into a top tier QB. Obviously Josh had the talent but the organization needed to maximize his abilities. Especially when you consider the way Darnold has imploded under Gase. We were fortunate to draft Allen but Allen was also fortunate that this Bills organization drafted him. Looking at all the coaches that we've had since Marv and all the QBs we've had, are there any QBs with whom McD would have had sustained success? Is there another coach on the list that could have gotten the best out of Allen. I'm curious what you all think.

Josh Allen named AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Honestly it means that I'm reading emails and posting in here and the coffee hasn't kinked in yet 😂 Thanks for pointing this out, no idea I did that 👏 -

There's no way the Browns would have patiently developed Allen the way the Bills have. The dude was raw talent when he came in the league. A ton of credit has to go to the entire Bills organization (as well as Allen himself) about his continued improvement. Honestly the kid will be even better next year. Honestly I don't see Josh getting too caught up in commercials until later in his career. I think he's focused on football and improving. He knows a big payday is coming. -

That's true but you have to also consider Belichick's record against rookie QBs. -

If they can lower his cost I would not be surprised to see him in Indy next year
