  1. Probably happened when that Raider stuck his hand through his facemask.
  2. If we sit Josh for all or most of the game we will lose by more than 7
  3. The same thing with Knox. The guy will be great in time. Our FO has been able to identify potential and doesn't give up on a player too soon despite the calls from the talking heads. The process works.
  4. Everyone said that the 49ers were going to show us up by running all over us. Didn't quite work out that way The D is good enough and improving especially as the O scores TDs and owns TOP
  5. Not sure some of the teams we've had over the years did. I remember Jim Kelly commenting on a Dick Jauron team that you could never tell by being in the locker room if they'd just won or lost.
  6. This isn't the same old Bills. These guys like to win.
  7. The Bills' run defense completely sucking is a tired narrative that needs to be put to bed. They are not top tier by any stretch but they are much better than some people are saying now that they are healthier again. The picture that is being painted is just as lazy as the Josh is inaccurate one that people like Nick Wright keeps blabbing on about.
  8. Josh certainly agrees with you about Knox
  9. Just thinking about them seeing the billboard on their way home makes me happy
  10. We need the win
  11. I'm not saying that he won't end up there. I'm saying that he will have choices and that it'll be up to him. I thought your original point was that he would be forced on the Kahn family by the league. I'm just saying that he will have multiple suiters. My guess is he'll end up in Houston with Watson.
  12. January weather in Buffalo is still home field advantage. Not having to travel is home field advantage. Agreed the lack of a stadium filled with fans lessens things but playing in your stadium in your weather helps the home team. Just look how Tennessee faired in Green Bay last night.
  13. The league can't wont force a guy on a specific franchise. There'll be several jobs available with good or really good QBs for Biememy to work his magic. He might prefer to work with a proven guy like Watson over the rookie in Jacksonville
  14. Jacksonville has a lot of things going for it especially with the #1 pick locked up. That said I think organizationally they are suspect. If Daboll is going to go there as HC I hope he gets strong and specific language preventing ownership doing a bait and switch. As the Bills have shown there needs to be stability and the process takes time to bring change. I'd be worried that as soon as the Jags taste any kind of success ownership will forget about the process and meddle.
  15. Agree with you. Curses are excuses. The key is when Fitz is called on he plays well and finds ways to win on teams that had been losing.
  16. This team isn't worried about what ESPN etc thinks. It's all about the inner confidence. They are a confident bunch already but a conclusive win at Foxborough would certainly reinforce that.
  17. I'd love to have Fitz back in Buffalo as our backup. Based on Fitz's comments he loved Buffalo but knowing he'd only ever be the backup might keep him away.
  18. It's more than the history. We need to eliminate any fear that may linger regarding this franchise. They need to be viewed as just another team on another week. Best way to do that is win in a convincing manner just like we did to the Steelers.
  19. The only intrigue around our QB situation that I can think of is who our backup will be next year.
  20. Agreed it's easier when you are winning. But didn't the entire marketing department quit back in August. Seems like someone seized on the opportunity to upgrade.
  21. Whomever in the PR department came up with that can go grab an extra donut from the breakroom and take the rest of the morning off 😂
  22. The demise started before Tom left. Tom left because the writing was on the wall. In fairness the media has discussed the loss of Brady. How many discussions has there been on who played the bigger role in the dynasty, Brady or Belichick.
  23. I just see too many of the same problems that exist in Dallas. Ownership has a tendency to react and meddle. Plus when you add in the NYC media and their headlines the situation is more challenging. Look at the talent that Dallas have been putting on the field for years and how they always seem to come up short. While the Jets hiring Gase made it possible for them to win the Super Bowl it certainly didn't make it probable. The Bills turnaround happened because our new ownership cleared house, brought in a new mindset and gave the people time to implement it. Doug Whaley and Russ Brandon and all the power struggles and infighting had to go. These changes took time and required a process. Until the Jets take that kind of holistic approach to their organization they will never be better than middle tier.
  24. I agree with you on Tua. I haven't been wowed by him even for a rookie. I'm not not sure how he will handle adversity and injury issues are still a concern. I am impressed by Burrow but they are going to need to protect him going forward. Herbert looks like the real deal too. On the NFC QBs you mention I think Russ is the best bet. I think Dak may be moving on from Dallas, I think it's gotten personal at this point and he'll get paid wherever he goes. Goff has serious flaws and there is a growing amount of film on him.
  25. The organization as a whole is flawed and that is what has held them back all these years. It's why Belichick walked away from the opportunity there and things haven't really changed since then. Talent on the field alone is not enough to be successful in this league you need the organization and supportive ownership to go with it.
