  1. I agree. My post was a response to someone's post being misunderstood. Leslie Frazier is a very good coach and deserves to be interviewed for open HC positions.
  2. It's going to be Baker for sure. Allen will be well paid but take the Brady approach of leaving money for others. Not sure about Lamar. He is their offense but durability has to be a concern with the way he plays. Age and the inevitable hit is going to happen.
  3. I don't think that the poster's comment was meant as a dig at Frazier. I think the comment was meant to suggest that the Texans are not seriously looking at Frazier. There have been many situations we teams are having a candidate interview to cynically satisfy the Rooney Rule.
  4. Daboll isn't leaving for just any HQ job. It'll have to be a situation where success is probable. The Chargers opportunity might fit that but the Jets is simply a messed up organization. The problem with the Jets is that as soon as they start to improve they forget why they were bad and revert to their old ways. We were a little like that before McD brought his process. The thing is I just can't see Jets ownership being patient like the Pagula's have been.
  5. Who exactly is over looking the Chiefs?
  6. Great throw - absolutely effortless. Have to say I'd prefer the td toss to Diggs though, not because it was 6pts but the location was absolutely perfect. So many incredible throws in that game. The kid simply just has it.
  7. I like how they ordered the names the ballot. I'm guessing they're hoping for a Rodgers win. Let's spoil their day and bring it home for #17.
  8. Two things 1. Rivers can't run around like Hostetler could. Rivers makes Bledsoe look mobile. 2. I'm tired of people talking history with regards to this team. It's been 25 years since etc... What happened before these guys got here has nothing to do with them. Anything that went on before McD got here is irrelevant. If they run on us it won't be Rivers doing it.
  9. The Jets will stick with Sam. He is much better than perceived, he just needs stability and some talent. Not sure the Jets will know how to give him either though.
  10. I can't tell if you are making fun of the hasn't won a playoff game narrative or not. If you are then well played if not then go read Dion Dawkins letter to the mafia part II. "It was like: Okay, I can jump over hella guys. Check. I can run through hella guys. Check. I can stiff-arm dudes and they’ll just fall on their asses. Check. I can throw the ball from basically any arm angle, at any body angle, to any spot on the field. Wow, really?? Okay. Check. I can get us out of trouble with my legs, whenever that’s needed, just let me know. Damn. Cool. Okay. Check. It was like all these skill-sets he was checking off, and then filing away. And it was a scary sight. But at the same time — it was still just this collection of skills, you know what I’m saying?? Like, I don’t think Josh had figured out yet how to leverage those skills into an actual identity as a football player. And then this season, I mean….. that’s what you’re seeing: You’re seeing it all snap into place. You’re seeing Josh enter the Matrix and suddenly he’s dodging them bullets." Josh is starting to do it all, mentally and physically. We have a superstar and the world is starting to catch on.
  11. My only concern was that they may tighten up with all the win in the playoffs talk and not wanting to let the 6,700 down. Then I saw this 😂
  12. In the playoffs, with a full moon, and whatever else Nick Wright wants to add to avoid admitting that he's just there to get clicks.
  13. Thank you for creating a new thread for your singular thought. Since you really seem to have a handle on message boards etc. can you explain to me what LAMP means.
  14. My biggest thing is describing him as bad or mediocre. Sure there were just as moments of head scratching hero ball as there were moments of awe and wows, but mediocre QBs do not have as many 4th quarter come backs that #17 had in his first 2 seasons. Mediocre QBs turn the ball over in the red zone. The Thanksgiving day game was as clear a foreshadow to the league that Josh Allen was becoming the player he is today. There were a few who not only saw the potential but actually stated it on camera. For others it was made clear that the host may not give you camera time if you do not spout the desired narrative.
  15. But how good is SI at ________? Unless your talking about sucking the answer is pretty bad. Sad since they were a decent outlet in the past.
  16. Totally agree. Those lessons have already been learned.
  17. If he was a good GM Allen would have been a Bronco.
  18. To be fair they might let him come to the meetings
  19. True but they are giving him a red stapler
  20. This is exactly what I was thinking of when I was watching the game. That result really sucked. Much better feeling on this side of the equation 😂
  21. As long as the team stays humble we'll beat KC.
  22. I don't care who we get. This team can beat anyone
  23. Brady is gone so he'd probably like the QB room a lot more. NE has the $$ to bring in talent to put around him. I think this is quite a likely outcome.
