Pats create PI when they are losing
Jobot replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
100% agree that this is the strategy. If he's got a 20% chance of completion, he's also got a 20% chance of a PI call. BUT... I do think the refs (and the rest of the league) expect the PATs to always win and have a much easier time throwing these flags. -
Gilmore is now beloved in NE (Yahoo Article)

Team sport bro. Need good culture, coaches, and players. Can't just have one. -
Tom Brady ... would he be a good coach?
Jobot replied to notwoz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not a head coach - he's the greatest but would not be able to relate everyone from what it takes to be the main leader. 80% of the Patriots success is from Belicheck alone. -
Vote/Question. Is there a conspiracy for the pats to win?
Jobot replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is the dumbest thing that people believe. There were some bad penalty calls, especially the PI... but even without that call, I still think the PATs score a TD on that drive. The Jags handed the game away because they were too scared to win it. It's like going against Tiger in his prime. -
Cool. I hope you're at peace

Don’t care, but please be sure to continue hating on Tyrod after he is officially of the team so long as it makes you feel better

Yes our D held Jags Offensive Juggernaut to 10 pts
Jobot replied to WideRightRevenge's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So when an opposing team boasts the leagues worst running back we should provide wide-open running lanes and assume he'll just fall down on his own? Mind boggling is right! -
This is real football not fantasy football.

Yeah.. I'm sure the game plan was to lure Bortles into throwing to WIDE OPEN recievers with no defenders within 15 yards... All in hopes that he would miss them!!! -
The MMQB: Dareus Says Marrone is a Changed Man

In any high profile business, anyone who doesn't continue to improve year after year is out of a job. Unless you're Rex Ryan. -
Bon Jovi on Howard Stern Talking Buffalo Bills
Jobot replied to K D's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Regardless.... Pegula won the bid, and potential movement of the team had nothing to do with the neutral arbitrator awarding the Bills to Pegula BUT It's crazy that the world we live in today is filled with such GIGANTIC lies... It's anybody's guess whether what Bon Jovi said is True or not... but either scenario is nuts; for bon jovi to spread a lie like this, or if Trump actually did what he said... Glad the Pegula's got the Bills -
Yes our D held Jags Offensive Juggernaut to 10 pts
Jobot replied to WideRightRevenge's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ok, but it had nothing to do with the Bills defensive play or scheme. Bortles was missing wide open guys that had open field in front of them. I don't think the Bills D gets a trophy for that. Like I said, the Bills D played well, but if this same game were to be played 10 times, average score would be Jags winning 20-10. -

Lol so you're saying those were difficult throws that Bortles missed? The Bills D didn't play bad... but the Jags should easily have put up 20+ pts. -
Friendly reminder - Brandon Beane has yet to prove a thing

Would 6 rings for NE diminish future SB winners?
Jobot replied to TheFunPolice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sickeningly Agreed... NE basically sitting with 3-bye weeks are being handed entry into the SB! THEN possibly to be handed the damn trophy if a Wentz-less Eagles team is able to win a home game!!! ugh.... Oh yeah ATL also handed them a SB-ring... DAMMIT so did Seattle..... Seriously WTF!!! -
Denison and Tyrod should share the same fate
Jobot replied to KingRex's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not a football expert, but I trust that McDermott gets to the root cause(s) of why the offense was pitiful, and maybe Dennison is part of the problem. We're all still under the assumption that the same O-line talent exists that led the league in rushing back to back years... But I saw our O-line guys getting dominated off the snap all year long. I think we're going to continue to see major changes across the entire football team similar to the last off season. Although the Bills only scored 3-pts against Jax... the offense did move the ball pretty well at points in the game (and controlled the game clock for the first 3 qtrs). I think the coaching staff squeezed everything they could get out of the players that they had. So it wouldn't shock me if Dennsion stays if they determine that player talent was the limiting factor. Also let's be real the defense giving up only 10 pts is with many thanks to Bortles being absolute garbage... A good qb puts up at least double that under the same conditions. -
Totally agree. I was just having this conversation the other day. The fact that there are only 32 of these positions in the world available for employment... how is every qb not great at this? I guess D-coordinators are also in high demand... but listening to Tony Romo rattle off the defensive breakdowns pre-snap after being out of the league for a year.... it just makes you wonder how this is possible.

Agree with Brady, but not Belicheck. Brady has been disingenuous and has laughed through his lies every time he was caught. Bellicheck however, I've garnered more respect for, especially over the past few years. It appears more and more every year that this team's sucess is 100% related to Belicheck, and Brady is just another product that fits his system. It wouldn't surprise me to learn he intentionally let the week 1 KC game slip this year to provide NE a wake up call for the season. (I mean what better week than week 1)... I really think the guy has the best football mind this sport may ever see. I hope when he goes, Brady looks old and feeble, and Kraft looks like the fool for pissing off Belicheck with the Garrapolo situation resulting in upcoming decades of sub .500 football.

Checking in with the Jags message board
Jobot replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Our run-D although not great, has improved tremendously since the saints/chargers games. -
stats are misleading... The Bills gave up a record setting amount of yards in back to back games that definitely skews us to this rank. Based on the eye-test... I see this team more in the 18-20 rank of run defense TODAY.

With the surreal finish to the regular season, the Buffalo Bills drought is over!!! Looking to the weekend, I'm fairly optimistic that this team will be ready to also win it's first playoff game in. So I looked up some fun facts below: 17 years since last playoff appearance - (1999 - no need to mention details) 22 years since Last playoff Win - vs Miami in 1995 25 years since last playoff road Win - at Pittsburgh in 1992 But to the point of this thread.... This will be the first playoff environment experience for most of the guys on this team. This is huge when considering the fact that A- Buffalo realistically isn't going to go beyond the divisional playoff round, and B - I'd much rather get the 'first' playoff game jitters out of the way with a team that doesn't have high expectations, which hopefully each upcoming year we get better and better.... Next year, when we get back to the playoffs we'll have a group of young veterans with playoff experience! Can't wait to beat the Jags this Sunday, GO BILLS!

Jags expect Marquise Lee to play Sunday
Jobot replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can't see the Jags passing game being our crux even at full health. -
You're lying if you say you were happy Miami was going for it, and thought the Bills were going to stop them on this play.... This would have been catastrophic if the Bills lost the game due to 'reckless' play-calling. ANDDDD the Bills still had to stop them on this down.
-
Yeah they seemed to not care at all based on the brawl that erupted...

Which team was better? 2014 or this years?
Jobot replied to Kmart128's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't kid yourself... the 2014 team was 8-8. Brady sat the final game of the year.
