  1. Gotta love the misguided Peterman negativity on here.... Has anyone ever paid attention to what type of draft compensation you can get for even a competent qb?? The MOST important thing that everyone needs to be rooting for this year is for Peterman to woo over the other GMs.
  2. It's not ridiculous if you're able to think big picture.. Allen is a gun slinger, his style of play is gonna get him destroyed behind this line... Peterman is a game manager, he'll get the ball out quickly and take what the defenses give him.
  3. Not only is this idiotic, but you also apparently don't even know what the rope a dope is.
  4. Guarantee the players want Allen. I think the guy earned a ton of respect from his team when he shouldered all the blame for the offenses struggles.
  5. Considering how bad the O-line was, I wouldn't see Peterman doing much better than Allen. I was impressed with Allen's ability to move throughout the pocket. BUT... combine the terrible O-Line with Allen's style of play looks like it would absolutely get him injured this year. I don't see any Bills qb having a ton of success based on what we just witnessed. But Peterman looks like a guy that's not gonna play hero ball and will know how to take his medicine. So I'd start Peterman until we hopefully get the O-line figured out. I just don't see much to gain from throwing Allen into this.
  6. We need to start revoking Bills cards... Please stop posting here.
  7. Don't forget... it's the preseason for new rules too. But the last Carolina TD resulted from this rule being applied improperly. Hopefully they figure it out
  8. I would expect an equal number of wins from any of the three options at qb.
  9. If he's the player Buffalo wants him to be, then he's go the opportunity to be that player. If he fails to meet that expectation and continues to be mediocre, then see ya, and no one in Buffalo will feel bad about moving on from him.
  10. I think he'll regret this decision and I wish he would go because he has earned this moment. I also think these **** reporters who have been voting against him will let this go to their heads thinking they were right to make him wait. Respect the decision though.
  11. He was a rookie last year too don't forget. He definitely struggled with the game management portion of things... Hell, I can't imagine a more stressful new job, that carries a steeper learning curve than an NFL head coach. But I'm guessing he'll get better every year at this. I'd imagine the game 'slows down' for coaches just like it does for the players over time.
  12. It began when the US military began paying hundreds of thousands of tax payer dollars to promote... the US military. I'd say 'propaganda' but ppl would get offended, but that's basically the same thing as advertising.
  13. I don't actually care about this issue at all. The reason for the rule change was that the league owners didn't like the impact to their bottom line $$. Just don't fool yourself into thinking that anyone on the business side of the NFL acted this way out of patriotism.
  14. Classy move by Philly mgmt to go to Foles with the offer. Foles gave the city a super bowl championship. It's only right for them to give him the decision to be a starter on a different team.
  15. Rogers and Brady in the same division would of been something
  16. Apparently no bad calls were made that hurt the Bills last year
  17. Maybe Cleveland's got the right managment now... MAYBE, but no way to confirm today. All they've done is signed a bunch of Fantasy Football names and I don't buy that it will actually work. You don't go from 0-16 to winning >6 games w/o major changes to the culture of an organization. There's also more to the game than just skill players. Going with the Bills at 7 to 9 wins vs Cleveland getting 3-6 wins
  18. I'll take your word for it haha, but I remember being terrified of facing Ottawa in '06 and deep down didn't expect Buffalo to win that year. I thought they had our number all year until the playoffs if I recall.
  19. My understanding is this would never be considered by the team with the pick (in this case Cleveland) I feel like teams would value the fact that you get an extra year on the rookie deal of a hopefully equally talented player.
  20. I thought Ottawa was the best that year, but Sabres wanted it more and grinded to that belief. Still so upset that Carolina was gifted the cup that year due to injuries and a fluke penalty.
