  1. No qb or player in the history of the NFL has been given so many chances after falling flat on their face... so to that regard it's kinda interesting.
  2. So you should be content with the -1 points from our offense against NE. Why aren't you offended that we're calling these guys heaps of trash if that's your bar?
  3. You mean the guy that was incapable of leading an offense to just ONE touchdown against Jax? The same guy that was immediately traded after? That's the guy that we think was successful?
  4. All these guys would of failed in Buffalo. When's the last time a Buffalo qb succeeded?
  5. I agree 100% If it were up to me he'd absolutely be brought in for a workout.
  6. The NFL is gotta be pissed at Buffalo for handling the qb situation so poorly and adding gas to the Kaepernick's lawsuit. I get it... Buffalo fans would probably be among the least receptive fan bases towards his presence in the stadium.. but Matt Barkley??
  7. FA at the end of the year.. so we won't part with any draft picks to sign him then.
  8. The fact that he has a big ego, thinks he's the best in the league, has many ppl believing that he has all the natural gifts required to be a great receiver, and STILL puts up measly numbers as a teams 4th option tells me he obviously doesn't work as hard as what would be necessary.
  9. He still has one... He believes he's a top 5 receiver in the league but he's not. He doesn't work hard. Any top-5 WR swapping with Watkins would be putting up monster numbers in KC right now.. not Sammys measly 4th-option stats.
  10. I'd also mention if Edmunds doesn't get hurt, he tackles White on the 3rd down play of New Englands only TD drive of the game.
  11. Disagree that you can claim this.. I think we've seen plenty from the defensive side. The thing about the 40% stat of the team made up by year 1 and 2 players is that year 1 and 2 players have THE most room to improve (when compared to a veteran). So the Bills have got significant upswing potential on their roster. Shore up the O-Line in the draft. Add an explosive WR in FA 40% of the roster now in year 2 and 3 results in improved play ...I just don't think tossing McDermott is the best idea.
  12. They put a bunch of band-aids on the offense. They've got $80million in cap money next year. This is the NFL, you can't mask lack of talent with any scheme.
  13. I've never felt more comfortable watching the Bills D against the PATs than I felt last night. I thought they played outstanding. If Edmunds is in the game, he stops James White on the PATS eventual only TD drive
  14. With today's Bills team, that's the only logical choice of strategy. They tried to build a better offense, but did a very poor job and are now stuck with what they've got. I look at it this way... He's a clear leader that the team plays hard for, so if we see continued improvement over his tenure, then I'm comfortable letting him continue as our head coach. But I also expect more bumps along the way.
  15. Should the expectation for a rookie head coach be that he starts out an instant hall of famer? I don't disagree with you about blaming McDermott for poor qb assessment.. But he seems like a hard enough worker with good character and leadership that he will be able to figure this out. At least I hope.
  16. This is all about being a leader, and he's learning as well. Rex took the polar opposite approach (let his emotions dictate his actions) and the team was all over the place. Getting the Bills to become a perennial contender is not easy, and there is going to be much pain along the way.. He needs to continue to be strong so that his team will continue to follow him if he has any shot at getting this to work.
  17. The only thing it might do is buy some pass protection time? But laterals all happen so quickly, that no DB was gonna get tricked.
  18. The answer to this Topic should just say that you have an IQ within the top 90 percentile. Don't worry, if you don't understand this statement you're probably also panicking about the Bills.
  19. This site must need some up/down votes as clearly posters still don't get the point from reading the comments how idiotic they sound.
  20. I don't see anyone parting with very much. If we can't move him, I honestly think it would be better for the locker room to just cut him. Guy doesn't run routes hard, not aggressive, below average hands... I don't understand how Mcdermott can preach effort and character and then have this be your #1 receiver.
  21. I mean this is starting to feel like one of those relationships that should of ended a while ago... We had some great years, but in the end, we just keep saying the same thing every year while already knowing that it will never work out.... Sell the team Terry, we all need to just move on.
