I will say the guy is a freak despite his age. Has that Ray Lewis/James Harrison type drive and love of the game. I'd still be surprised if he ends up even as our 3rd rb... but I can't deny that he's not an upgrade today as a rb-3.

I would hope the strategy with these comments are to motivate Zay. I think of Julian Edelman.. not to say that he's the same player/person, but look at how far that guy has come. Can't dispute the amount of work that he puts in where he was virtually un-coverable in last years playoffs. I hope we find guys that are lunatics about preparation and training/improvement.

Throughout his career, whenever Rex had a good defense, it was because he had a 'generational' talent on his team. Baltimore Ray Lewis Jets had Revis allowed him to take half the field away from the other team. He's average at best without those types of players and I think there are plenty of other competent coaches who would have accomplished the same thing at minimum. So... not really impressed with him and I don't see why anyone would hire this guy for anything. Also he sucks on ESPN, so maybe I wouldn't mind seeing him leave.

Solution - play cupid and set your young qb up with with rich/famous model so he doesn't have to care about money.

I don't think anyone can be fully bought into Josh Allen at this point after not even a 16 games of work. I would say the same thing for all the other 2018 rookie qbs.

What were his stats pre and post injury this year?

I'm more saying it as a knock on Buffalo's offense.. I think Mahomes is a very good qb, time will tell how good. But I don't think even Aaron Rogers could have put up just average numbers this year had he played for the Bills. So IMO, put Mahomes in a Bills uniform and there's a high chance that people are calling him a bust. Allen was able to do some damage because of his freakish athletic ability.. I could be nuts to think that Mahomes would not have fared as well?

Just boggles my mind that people think Mahomes would have an MVP season playing on this team.

Noticed 2 things 1- SOOO Many near interceptions that are going to happen as he continues adjusting to the NFL timing 2- He doesn't go for the 'hit-stick' on tackles... but wraps guys up and just consumes them with his length. Unique, refreshing, fun to watch!
